I was worried this coat would not fit my longer torso and long arms properly. I'm 5'4" currently 133# and I got a medium. I had a baby a year ago so I'm losing weight but decided to stay with mediums because my hips won't shrink down anymore. I'm glad I did because it's fitted (not tight) on my hips. Yes the coat comes down to the hips. The sleeves come past my wrists-which is perfect. This was a gift to me (the always freezing one in SoCal) from my loving husband.

I never write reviews but since all the reviews on here helped me decide to buy and what size I needed I figured what the heck. For reference I am 5’8” and around 130 pounds. My 2 other NF coats are smalls but I buy medium in the lightweight jackets because I have long arms and a long torso. This is my new fav!! It is super warm. I’ve had to take it off in the car several times and I’m always cold!! I bought a medium after seeing so many people say it is very fitted and I’m glad I did. I think a small would have worked but I usually wear multiple layers and I feel this might have been tight like my other smalls when layering. So if you’re going for a fitted look get your normal size. If you like your outside coats a little more roomy for layering go a size up. I have gotten so many compliments on the color (iridescent blue) even the zipper is iridescent!! It is very well made and the arms actually go past my wrists which is amazing. Plus it’s a little longer and goes about halfway past my butt which also never happens with my long waist. If you are on the fence, I would definitely recommend this!!

I love this jacket. It is attractive as well as functional. It is warm without being heavy. It blocks the wind. It's water resistant. What's not to love. I would recommend this jacket to anyone who walks or runs on a regular basis.

Cute and great for snow

I love this coat! It is so warm! Exactly what I was looking for to keep me toasty during the cold winters of the northwest. My only complaint is that I didn't buy this coat sooner instead of messing with other brands that are just not as warm and don't have the same quality craftsmanship.

I ordered a medium so I could wear plenty of layers underneath when necessary and it fits perfect. It feels like it will be plenty warm out in the cold weather.

I bought this coat for everyday use. I bought a cheaper brand but I was freezing walking to & from my car. I finally spent the money & bought this North Face coat. I love it because I am comfortably warm when I walk outside. No more running in parking lots.

Very comfortable and nice hat

This is actually the 2nd Gotham jacket that I purchased. I also have the Gray color and love the fact that this jacket is extremely warm but very light weight. It fits true to size and is extremely comfortable when trying to move around and is not big or bulky. I was very surprised also at the fact that even in the coldest of whether you feel completely warm. It also washes really well carry and I would definitely recommend it and would purchase again because of the comfort and fit but also the fact that it's the warmest coat I've ever worn

A gorgeous jacket which fits perfectly, is comfortable and keeps me warm and dry during our nasty Wisconsin winter! I love the jacket and have received many compliments.

I love this jacket! I've been debating on getting a North Face for awhile now and have been shopping around for months. I wanted something lightweight but warm. Also wanted it to be cute, classic and stylish. This hits everything! I got it yesterday and had to wear it out in the cold rain and I was very comfortable. The best part is it is lightweight. I'm 5'2 and 143 lbs and I got a medium. It fits great, with room to layer. Very flattering cut. The neck does come up pretty high but whatever, I never zip my coats that high anyway. I love it! So happy with my purchase.

I have always wanted a North Face Jacket!

I ordered a Medium and a Large. Both worked but returned the Medium as was a little snug over sweater or sweatshirt. Love the green color. As usual love the North Face quality and the price was right as was on sale.

This jacket is super comfortable for everyday wear. Great quality and very stylish.

What is there to not like about this coat? The color is awesome and the fit is perfect!!!

Love this jacket . These jackets I feel are geared towards petite individuals. I'm glad I'm somewhat petite otherwise it would be tight in armpit area. In otherwords....if I had chunk this would feel tight . Definitely a fitted jacket . The fur is soft doesn't look cheap. I'm 5'2 125 lbs and i love the length on me and over all look

Love how comfortable, but warm this coat is, but still not too bulky! I actually purchased this as a gift, but I will be ordering one for myself now, as well!

This jacket is the only coat I have found in a decade that has kept me warm! It has survived -25 windchills and -15 temps. The red is a rad color too! Definitely will buy again , like other buyers said I bought up a size to fit over my blazers, sweaters and hoodies. I probably didn’t need to though. I’m normally a M and bought a Large.

Use it in cold weather to keep warm

I live where it is cold 7 months out of the year and this coat is perfect for it. Warm and cute, can't go wrong

I love the color. It goes with everything. Looks great with the cream color Beanie I have. Love it. Would buy it in other colors.

This coat is wonderful! I had ordered another style it was too snug so I ordered this one in the next size up. iIt is a little big but I still love it .SoI don't know if it was bigger because of the different styles or what. Overall it is a very warm and stylish coat

I absolutely love the Gotham II jacket. I ended up getting Vintage White and glad I did. It's a subtle white that' gorgeous. Lightweight and perfect all uses.
