I tired this jacket on in the store. I liked a lot of things about it, but it was so short it would have been useless to really keep me warm. Too bad.

My 13 yr old daughter loves the look of the jacket but it is very thin and I'm not truly convinced it's warm enough for 20 degree weather in NY. Was planning on returning it but she really wanted to keep it. Don't believe it's worth the price

I was excited to get this jacket and when I did it just wasn't as warm as I thought it would be and the material seems kind of cheap. it's not a bad jacket I just don't think it's worth the price.

The zippers stick and I had to exchange it for a new one after the zipper was not repairable. Other than nice, I love the jacket.

I don't like writing bad reviews, but the truth is I was pretty disappointed when I received this jacket. The quality overall feels, plain and simple, cheap; of course this is a personal opinion according to my standards for how much I paid for this jacket, it didn't meet my expectations. Also, hand pockets are very tiny (and my hands are kid's size), and pocket zippers sometimes work sometimes don't, these look especially cheap. The good thing is that it looks good, and I've gotten compliments wearing it. The coldest temperature I used this jacket was around 15 F and it was warm, although hands with gloves definitely don't fit in this jacket, I can see that being a problem when temperatures start getting lower. I got an XS and it fits great, I have other XS jackets and they are all kind of big so it could be that it runs a bit small, I'm tiny.

It's a nice coat. It doesn't feel like it would be substantial enough for northern Wisconsin weather like my Columbia coat I am replacing. I have a veeeerrrry hard time getting sleeves long enough - if you relate to this, you'll know - so I don't recommend it for tall women. In my pic, the sleeves look long enough but as soon as I raise my arm they are half way to my elbow. Also, the shoulders were quite tight in the coat that the size estimator suggested. For reference, I am 5'11" and I got a size medium.
It sucks that this coat didn't work out because I really want an olive coat.

This is a nice looking jacket but it is not warm at all. I wore it with a sweater at 40 degree weather and I was freezing. The jacket is very thin. Not worth the price. 5'6 155 lbs and large fit perfect.

Sleeves are too short, I have noticed all of my North Face long sleeved items are like this and it's beginning to make me shop around to other places :( PLEASE extend sleeves on ALL items.

The fit was very awkward. Very puffy and sticks out at the stomach area.

Washed it. All the material inside bubbled up. I now have a lumpy jacket. Not worth your money.

I bought this jacket as a gift in taupe, which is not a typical taupe, but more of a moss/army green. I bought it in XXL thinking it would provide a roomier fit for my daughter who normally wears a comfortable XL in jackets. It's a lovely looking jacket and kept my daughter's arms and back warm on a cold morning. But the jacket is way too small to be an XXL. It fit more like an L on her. Seems to not be made for someone with a larger chest as the jacket was not large enough to come close to closing. XXL should normally fit a size 18/20 frame, but I think this company made it for a 14/16 frame. We'll try an XXXL, but, what a disappointment. Seems the company doesn't really want to fit a larger frame/bust, but gives the illusion it's inclusive of all female body types. (PS, my daughter also surprised me with a jacket and ordered a size up, but it fit like it was my normal size. C'mon, North Face, do better and size smarter.)

I'm in between sizes. XL-XXL. This coat fits like a tight XL. Tight in the shoulders, across back & arms. Sleeves seemed short. Unable to zipper. I'm 5'4. Otherwise it's a really nice coat.

This jacket fits well and is stylish HOWEVER it is NOT a city jacket in a city where winter is usually at -15 Celcius and colder. Unfortunately the description does say it is the warmest but has no temperature rating and does not mention which type of use. I purchased last winter for daily city use, and even with layering(which is hard to do bc it's a fitted style), I FROZE (each day that was -15 Celsius or colder). Don't know if it is warm enough for winter sports either, even with creating/body heat. In Canada, temperatures reach -25 to -30 Celcius on the mountains and cities. It would be very helpful if North Face website included if jackets are for urban use and a temperature rating.

The jacket has stitching at the waist tat cinches it in and therefore puts focus on bust.
