Not too long, not too short. Perfect length to wear with boots and stay super warm. First day I wore out, I got at least five compliments. Love it!

this coat is very light weight yet extremely warm, i own a few different North Face down coats and this one is my favorite, it does not restrict movement, comfortable to sit in the car, thickness is perfect for winter(in the northwest region). The only down side is that i wish they have petite sizing for women who are shorter than average, for reference i am 5'4 and the medium size fits well everywhere(could also fit a sweater inside) except for the length is just a tad long compare to the model shown here. If you are shorter than 5'5, then you might want to try it on in the store first.

Comforting to know that in any weather this beautiful coat will keep my daughter so warm as she is walking to snd from colleges classs or at a football game cheering on Penn State ! She is living it! Best investment!

I am so spoiled by my North Face coat and jacket that I will not wear any of my others.. I am warm when it's cold, dry when it's wet and can walk from freezing weather outside into a warm environment and still be comfortable. I am sure that if you've never owned one and you do buy one .....you'll thank me and The North Face.

Jacket is perfect for cold MI weather and is very stylish. The fit is not boxy and cinches at the waist just enough.

Love this parka. Lightweight so don't feel like a stuffed teddy bear.

I've owned this jacket for just shy of a year and it has been a real lifesaver in terms of keeping me warm. I'm a New England-er, but am so miserable if my gear doesn't perform in the frigid weather. This jacket has been on my wish list for such a long time and I finally bit the bullet and purchased it on a whim. I have not been let down or disappointed at any time since then. We are a North Face family, owning many a Thermoball and Denali jackets, but this one is by FAR my favorite. My 9 y/o daughter can't wait to be old enough to score her own. It'll be a few more years until she fits into a women's XS, unless the decide to make this style available in her size!

I haven't worn this yet, but I Love the fit!! I was comparing the Transit vs the Gotham Parka. I'm only 5'1 but was looking for a mid length jacket. The length is great!! Also like that this style has some shape to it. The Transit has a straight line, where this has some tucks in the waist line.

Absolutely love this product & was worth every penny put into this coat!!! Super warm especially for someone who gets freezing cold super easily. This is my favorite purchase this year!!!

Do you want a perfect coat for the winter? Then go purchase the Gotham Parka II. You won't be disappointed. This coat is absolutely beautiful and durable. I have no complaints. I'm 5'8 and the coat is about 3 inches from my knees. For all my thicker, curvy girls. Slimmer women, read down in the comments, this coat will look amazing on you as well. This coat is true to size. I'm thick and my arms are also thick. A 2XL was perfect.. .I'm usually a 2XL in coats or even a 3XL depending on the cut. Northface 2XL is perfect and still roomy. I recommend if you're a 2XL- 3XL in your other coats, you will be able to fit this coat. As bigger women, we don't need coats that's going to add a size or two from bulk. This coat is very slimming. For women who's smaller, it cinches in the waist and you will still be able rock your slim figure. This coat doesn't add any extra weight. Usually winter coats are bulky and hard to move around. Not the Northface! This is the most light weight coat I've ever purchased. Wear this in any weather, expect the summer. Lol It'll keep you warm, stylish and it's flexible, allowing you to move around. Great for people who are active. The material has great stitching & it's durable. The price is definitely worth it. Invest your money in something that's going to last a lifetime. Kids will love the different colors and how stylish TheNorthface coats are. Most importantly, it'll keep your little ones warm in very cold weather. I usually don't leave reviews but I had to express how much I love this coat and all of the other Northface coats, I've purchased in the past. I hope I made it easier in your decision making. I'm 5'2 and around 105 pounds and the extra small fit me perfectly! It actually falls at mid-thigh which is so hard to find when you're short. The hood is nice and snug so I don't think it'll blow off in windy weather.

Would recommend this coat to anyone! Love it & it keeps you soo warm!
