First, I hate buying shoes, because, frankly, shoe manufacturers apparently don't know what the human foot looks like. I've seen many feet, but I have never seen a foot that comes to a point, so why the heck are shoes made that way? Second, have you ever noticed how many people talk about bunions in these reviews? Point "A" is tapered shoes and Point "B" is bunions. Any shoe manufacturers out there? If so, please draw the line! Third, I am not a shoe hoarder...that is, until this boot met my foot. Finally, a nicely constructed piece of footwear that actually provides proper room for a......wait for it.....FOOT. This is so rare to find that I have actually purchased 3 pairs of these boots. After all, you never know if tomorrow some "brilliant" exec at Keen might say, "Let's change things up," and then make next year's shoes in the shape of a coat hanger. Anyway, these are lovely boots, nice and wide and comfortable. In virtually all other brands I have to purchase a wide, and more often than not, those aren't wide enough (just ask Zappos...and UPS). So, that being said, women with narrow feet will probably find the roominess of this boot problematic. I personally find it heavenly, so a big "thank you" to Keen!

I was walking my dog in the Seattle rain and realized I needed some waterproof boots. While I would've loved some cute Wellingtons, I really needed something with good support. Also, my New Balance walking boots were starting to die. These fit both the rain boot and walking boot bill to a T. Also, they're insanely comfortable right out of the box. I'm inclined to think they're a bit on the wide side. I have a wide toe-spread and there was plenty of room there for me. But I also have narrow heels and they were not slipping. The perfect everyday boot for Seattle winters.

I absolutely love these shoes! They are very comfortable and warm. I got the Blue ones. They are darker than the image showed, but I still think they look great. I had them shipped to my work. I tried them on to make sure they fit and I ended up wearing them home. They are worth every cent!

These are the best fitting footwear that I have had the pleasure to buy here on Zappos.com. These waterproof Keen boots are both stylish and comfortable. The Blue color is soothing and actually reduces my stress level every time I put these on to wear outside. My mood improves with each step as I confidently run errands and look forward to walking the dogs!

I love Keen shoes and boots because they fit my wide feet so well. One surprising thing when I tried these boots on is how light they are. Very comfy and well fitting boots.

SO CUTE! But too wide in ankle/heel for me. I have other Keen boots (Targhee, Reisen zip) and the others fit perfectly, with wide toe box but I can lace them snug enough thru the ankles. These are so wide thru the ankles that even if I tie the laces as tight as possible they are still too loose. Too bad! Because they are warm and otherwise comfy!

I have plantar fasciitis in both feet & nerve damage & pain in one leg. I’m really fussy about footwear. I love these boots. Sturdy but flexible. Not clunky. I tested them out with a 3 mile walk. I wear size 8 Keen clogs & size 8 Fitflops—-my go-to brands. I got 8.5 in these Keen boots. I added my own orthotic insoles & wore semi-thin wool socks. I’ll try them without my insoles next time. I think they’d be fine, they seem to offer good heel support. (If you have PF, you know this is critical.) The fit was just right. If you have cold feet & want to wear thick socks, go up a half size. My feet stayed warm in 20° F dry weather. My heels didn’t hurt at all & the boots provide ankle support without causing pain to the sensitive areas on my leg. The color is a green leaning grey. Nice & neutral. I’ll wear these a lot. They should work well in snowy, off road hiking trails. I plan to wear them with snowshoes if the snow isn’t too deep. I bought some Cougar boots from Zappos for deeper snow.

I have had these over a year, before writing this review. I guess I wanted to make sure that they would last, and they certainly have. They are a little bit wider than normal boots, but they are really comfortable. I would recommend them, because they are very sturdy and wear really well. I have put them through a lot of damaging weather, and they have remained water proof and look like they just came out of the box. Even salt wipes right off and doesn't stain them. There is only one slight problem, if you are wearing them on icy sidewalks, they will be slippery and because they are a little wider than normal, Yaktrax do not fit or stay on them properly. I would buy another pair in an instant, but I can't seem to get these to wear out!

Other reviews said these boots were bigger/wider than normal, so I figured they would be wide enough for my very wide feet. And they were. I like that they're waterproof. I wish they were even warmer and covered more of my lower leg. Other Keen boots that met those qualifications were too narrow (Hoodoo III line).

I never write reviews but here I am to say these are great boots! I live in Iowa and these boots have seen me through a lot of snow and cold. I bought a 2nd pair, both brindle/Inca gold because, as someone else mentioned, some exec may change this design to offer something "fresh" & these will be gone. Keen manufacturers: please keep making these. My wide size 11 feet can wear these with wool socks, my feet stayed dry even going through slush, & remember 2018-19 polar vortex? These worked! All feet are different but I love these boots! The end.

This is a very comfortable waterproof boot for those who need a wide toe box and good stability. While not a dress boot, it looks a little nicer than your typical hiking boot (especially in black). I usually wear an 8 and had to size down to 7.5, even with thick socks. I find the collar around the ankle a little stiff and had to figure out how to adjust the laces so it didn't rub, but once I found a good adjustment for me the boots were very comfortable. I wear these to walk to work in the rain and wear them all day. With wool socks, my feet stay warm and dry, but don't overheat. My feet don't slide around as they do in a typical rain boot style. The insoles are removable, but I wear them with my custom orthotics without removing the insoles.

I love these boots, and now have these in every color ever offered. I wear an 8.5 in Keens, which is a little bigger than what I wear in other shoes. These seem a tad bit wider than other (nonKaci) styles. I wore them all over the Grand Canyon, Zion, etc. etc. with shorts, long pants, whatever. I adore them. They are warm in cold temps, but not too hot to wear in the summer. I wear them to work, and find they're not so 'rugged' that they're out of place. I would love to see them in dark brown and olive!

I wear orthotics and mine fit perfectly in this boot. I have plenty of room for my toes! The toe box is actually foot shaped. Not many shoes/boots have that and it is necessary for my surgery-prone feet. Any toe box that squeezes my toes is a no-go for me. I usually order a 9 1/2 for my size 8-8 1/2 feet because of not wanting my footwear to hurt my toes and to fit my orthotics. These fit just right for me. They are rated for -4 to -20 degrees, but not too warm to wear in warmer weather for me. My feet are always cold so these help in that regard.

I love these keen boots! They feel like sneakers and with my own arch support they fit great. They are roomy enough to wear your favorite winter socks! Plenty of wiggle room for toes! Also nice lug tread but not too heavy.

I love these boots. It is very difficult for me to find shoes that fit and are comfortable. These boots have enough room in the toe box to accommodate my bunions and hammer toes. I do a lot of walking and my feet never hurt while wearing these boots. They are nice and warm. So glad I gave them a try!

i ordered the pair in brindle/gold, although those color names make no sense to me. nothing was gold nor mottled which is what i think of when i hear the word 'brindle'. at any rate, the color was closer to olive grey, much darker than pictured above, and not attractive to me. i didn't care for the strange shoelaces -- they were flat and limp and felt like they might unravel or wear apart in no time. the insole felt hard as if there were no padding or softness at all beneath my foot. the fit across my toes was great and i would have been able to wear thick or thin socks, but there was a shart edge somewhere near my ankle bone which was very annoying. i couldn't figure out what the edge was and that, along with the ugly color, had me sending them back. i am toying with the idea of ordering a different color since i liked the roomy toe area so much and roomy toes are hard to come by, but if the rest of the issues came along with a reorder, i'd send that pair back, too. too bad, because i've always liked keen.

Keen's Kaci is a comfortable, casual short boot with normal length sizing, while the width for the B is much wider - equivalent to a C or D width. I am normally a 9.5 in regular shoes. I have some old Keen Revel boots that I got in a women's 10, but they always felt a bit short. So, when I bought the Revel III, I got a 10.5. I ordered the Kaci at the same time in a 10.5. The Revel boot fit fine, but the Kaci was way too big. I returned the Kaci for a 10, but it was still too big. I returned for a 9.5, and it fit great! I like a wide shoe, so the Kaci's B width (equivalent to a C or D width) worked great for me. There is a bit of arch support, but not as much as an over the counter insole. You can pull out the Kaci's insole and add your own if you want more arch support. Overall, a great casual boot for when the weather is frightful, but it is not warm enough for a long hike through the snowy woods.

These Keen boots are really great. They were so comfortable the first time I put them on. I have badly shaped feet so it is a big deal that they fit so comfortably. I love the color and the style. They are easy to get on over my high arch too, which is another plus. I love that they are waterproof and have good gripping soles. I can't say enough good things about them. I am very glad another reviewer mentioned Keen as a good brand for feet that need room in the toe and not wide heel space.

I fell in love with the Kaci in the olive green color, which is called Turbulence/ Stormy Weather, with powder blue and olive laces. As other reviewers stated true to size so ordered 6.5 medium . I walked around the apt testing them out with thin and medium weight socks and had no issues. I did spray with protection to prevent salt stains. Wore out yesterday after having a light dusting of snow with side walks covered with salt. Walked around the city with no issues of rubbing and no negative effect with the neuropathy I have in my feet. My feet stayed warm and dry. What I like the most was the wide toe box and how light the shoe is, so comfortable. Considering purchasing another pair in a different color and would highly recommend this boot for casual winter needs.

I absolutely love love love these boots! Great for trekking around lousy Chicago winter weather. They fit great, they're crazy comfy, toasty warm, and I can wear them all day with zero issues. I normall wear a 7 shoe and a 7.5 boot, and the 7.5 fit perfectly. I wish they were a little cuter, they're hardly feminine, but I guess that's the price I have to pay for comfort. Just get these on your feet!!!!

I recently moved to Minneapolis and wanted a pair of boots to wear most of the winter. I already have snow boots, but wanted boots that will be my everyday shoes, really. These are perfect! I first tried the Keen Kaci shoe and found that it did not fit me as well -- the heel was way too wide for me, and they also would not be warm enough since they are a low shoe. The height of the Kaci mid boot is just right to keep my feet and ankles warm, and of course the laces help you adjust the fit (very nice textured laces that stay put!). I ordered them roomy ( 1/2 size larger than my normal 8 1/2 Keen sandals) so that I can fit my heavyweight wool socks which are essential to surviving a Minnesota winter. I am 70 years old and my hubby and I both think these are kicky and young looking. They also are waterproof, have excellent traction, and very soft leather so I had no ankle discomfort when they were new. I did have to add some arch support because they offer a moderate amount, just not enough for my feet. All in all, a terrific shoe/boot that perfectly fits my needs!!

Length on these are perfect, ordered my usual 7.5. Very wide, which I know is a Keens thing, so I was expecting that. I can wear thick wool socks and they are perfect. Walked the dog over 5 miles today in these. While they don’t have quite the support as my running shoes, they were still quite comfortable. It was below freezing today and no frozen toes. I’m thinking about ordering a second pair....

I have had these for two years. I travel to work by boat and have been stuck in west coast pouring rain and these have kept my feet totally dry and warm. They’re super light even though they are kind of wide. I wear thick socks and they work for me with leggings and a little skirt. I’ve hiked in really muddy conditions and the tread was grippy and they cleaned up well after. Overall a sturdy comfortable warm water proof pair of shoes.

I have been wearing Keen’s for years. But oh my goodness, these boots. There is room for my wide toes to breathe and move around. I dare say they are the most comfortable style of Keen’s I’ve ever worn. I live in Alaska and in case you didn’t know, it’s cold, wet and cold. These boots keep my piggies warm in this cold climate. I have to dress fairly nice for work and stand 8 hours a day. These boots keep my feet happy and I can wear them from work straight to the trail. I hope maybe they make this kind of foot bed but a little taller for when the snow is deep. Well I got to get going and order another pair of these in a different color.

First off, I have a back injury which has left me with nerve sensitivity in my right foot and my right foot is now larger than my left because of circulation issues. So finding the perfect shoe let alone a boot is such a chore. Fit overall was great as usual for a Keen. I was comparing these to the Salomon X Ultra 3 and really had a hard time deciding which one I liked the best. Ultimately I chose the Salomon X Ultra 3 just for the cushioning and that it seems to "feel" that they will keep my feet warmer. We shall see if I made the right decision come this winter.
