Unlike a lot of hiking boots for women, these have an extremely roomy toe box which I greatly appreciated. They also have ample room for trail socks but aren't too large if you're only wearing normal socks either. This makes them extremely versatile for whatever weather you might come up against. I have Reynauds, so my toes get extremely cold even when it's not that cold out so I need shoes that keep my feet warm and dry. These fit the bill 1000% and I would purchase them again in a heartbeat. The color is cute too!

Keens are so comfortable. They fit perfectly. I work in MN where the winters are long and the weather is unpredictable. These will surely keep me warm, dry and the soles have good traction for icy weather.

Love these boots. Great traction, comfortable, easy to get off and on, and warm. They are rated for down to 20 degrees below zero, and this winter proved that to be true. I even used them snowmobiling with a nice woolen sock inside, and my feet stayed warm even in well below zero weather. And they are considerably lighter weight than many cold weather boots. I can wear these all day.

I ordered these a half size bigger and that's because I usually wear thick socks with boots like this. So I guess that means they are true to size because an 8.5 would have fit fine with ordinary socks. I have trouble with a short boot like this because of where it rubs just above my ankle. This boot is the same but because the top edge is softener and pliable it really didn't bother me that much and I think after a few wearings it will feel just fine. Love the color, I got the brown ( tortoise shell). The picture was pretty true to the color.

I have two pairs of Keen Kaci slip-ons in size 10. They are the only shoes I have that don't require my PF orthotics because the arch support is pretty good. So I ordered this boot in size 10. PERFECT. Seriously, my toes are happy and my wallet is happy. For those who complain about the wide toe box... these are Keens. Keen understands that a human foot needs wiggle room for the tootsies. If you don't want a wide toe box, don't order Keens. Let the rest of us have them. And Zappos- were you reading my mind? How did they get to my house so fast? Did you know that my old snow boots were cramping my style? Thank you, thank you, thank you!

These boots are fabulous! They actually have a toebox wide enough for all five of my toes! They look super-cool also. The Brindle/Inca Gold looks gray in the picture, but it's more of a mushroom color. Soles have good traction and boots are pretty lightweight. I wear size 7 to 9 in a women's shoe and 7 1/2 to 8 in a man's. These are 8 1/2 and they're perfect.

I have been wearing keens for a decade and these are by far the lightest, warmest, most comfortable, wide keen I have ever worn. This is a shoe I may wear year round! Love love love

Loved the boot but it is wide wide wide. I ordered a half size bigger because I wanted to wear thick socks with them. They are so wide and big I could wear two or three pair of socks. I wanted to replace them with a smaller size but the blue was not available. After much thought I am reluctantly returning them.

The fit is very good, just a tiny bit bigger than some others I've ordered in Keens. Very comfortable out of the box, they are a warm shoe (we get snow and ice), soft leather, and very flexible sole. Been wearing them almost 2 weeks, almost everyday. Very cute shoe, dressier than most. I got the black, and will be ordering another pair in a different color.Looks good and feels great.

Really pleased with Keen's Kaci waterproof bootie. I generally wear an 11 W (or extra wide) and really need a wide toe box. This boot fits the bill, even though its not a wide-width boot, the toe box is nice an roomy. It looks pretty decent, too. Sometimes Keen just manages to make my feet look even bigger, but this boot kinda looks "cute"! They are warm, too! It's been pretty cold here in Michigan, and these keep my feet nice and warm. I'm not really "keen" on the way the oiled suede fabric looks.... straight out of the box, it just looked a little worn. They are advertised as waterproof, so I'm hoping they hold up and look nice even after exposure to snow.

I wrote a review last year but wanted to update that these boots are not waterproof. They've worked out well for me with thick wool socks (the boots run very wide) and I love that they are lightweight. I recently wore them with different socks and realized they allow moisture in, and on a cold day that feels bad.

I like these shoes and felt great when I put them first on but after a little the collar part was irritating my leg on just one leg. There was plenty of room in the toe box which was good. At the same time I ordered two other pairs of boots and the Terradora Ankle Waterproof are the ones I decided to keep.

These shoes were cute and easy to tie, but honestly there wasn't much too it. For a snow/water boot, there was no lining and the sole was stiff. For the $, I would expect more comfort, lining, and umph. They were also quite wide. I good insole would be needed and thick socks.

my feet are long but not thick or chunky, so these did not fit because the were extremely wide and big at the top of my foot. leather was smooth and style was spot on. toe box was nice and round, I like that look. my feet were literally floating around in this shoe, and for this reason I had to return them.

These are quite wide with fit similar to Keen Presidio styles. However, in addition to being wide, they are also high volume, meaning there is a lot of room (too much?) to accommodate feet of wide girth as well as width. In my case there is a lot of extra space on the top of the foot, from the toes all the way up the instep to the ankle. But if I order a half size down to reduce this space, I think the shoe will be too short...

As everyone said before me, these run quite wide. I like a wide shoe and frequently buy wide shoes to have more room for toe spread. These are great for that. They also provide ankle support, which I need because of a recent fall that broke my ankle. I am also paranoid about falling again, so need to have a sole that is not slippery. The sole on these are softish and responsive. They do not feel clunky, even though they are wide. The toe does turn up slightly, which my big toe does not like. All in all I like them.

I really love these boots. I've hiked in them, they look really good for everyday wear with jeans. I have wide feet, and these have room for my orthotic inserts too. Except they aren't perfectly waterproof. I just went walking in slushy snow, and my feet got soaked. I wouldn't call them very warm either. I'm going to likely buy another Keen boot but taller and warmer for winter hiking.....and research it really well to verify it really has insulation and is truly waterproof.

I have several other models of Keen shoes which I love, but I had to return these. The ankle area was just way too wide and loose even with the laces tightened to the max.

I'm so disappointed that these didn't work. They have a supportive and comfortable footbed, and would provide great stability and support in winter weather conditions if only they weren't so wide in the ankle. Even laced as tight as they could go, my ankles were swimming in these, and I'm not skinny. Please go back to the drawing board on these, Keen, because these could have been such awesome boots for winter!

I need to write a review for all those people who have neuropathy as I do. I love the Keen Sandals and purchase every year. I feel Keen stands behind their work so I tried this shoe for winter wear and ankle support. Keen does not offer wide sizes but it does allow for a big toe room so I tried the Kaci Winter mid waterproof in the caramel color. I wear 10.5 size in the sandals to accomodate swelling in the summer, but opted for size 10 in this shoe simply because of reviews and length is not what is challenging, it is the width. First the look of the shoe seems awesome and sturdy in all ways. I have a lot of leg and groin and feet pain so I needed a lot of help to slide in this shoe with a shoe horn and my husband pushing my foot in. I wore socks but they were not thick and I did not insert my orthotics. I wore the shoe in the house for almost an hour and realized several things. 1. It is a heavy shoe and if you have neuropathy you are already having trouble lifting your foot, so it felt I was lugging around a concrete block. Sorry for the exaggeration. 2. The toe width is just barely comfortable. At first I could not curl my toes and it did feel compressed on the sides. After an hour my legs were exhausted walking in these shoes. So it is my decision to return them. I came to realize 2. That I needed a lighter shoe to manage my gait. So I went back to my Brooks tennis shoe with my orthotic inserts. I really wanted to love this shoe. This neuropathy stops my life after 72 years of very active walking and climbing. It sucks but for anyone with this affliction you have to feel how the weight of the shoe feels and how compressed it is with foot swelling.

Disappointed! I’ve bought Keens for 15 years because of a wide foot. Have had my original Kaci-Boot in size 9/blue a year and a half - no problems and one of the best city/walking shoes I’ve owned. Wore them to London last fall, walked everywhere, in all kinds of weather, feet stayed dry and never ached. Alas, Keen re-sized the Kaci boot. Tried on the new pair, also size 9, and they hurt immediately. Shoe is sized slightly differently, longer and more narrow. Not readily apparent in looking at them but a clear difference when trying them in. I sent them back. Appreciate Zappos’ easy returns and very good customer service. Too bad about Keen! No point in an exchange when the shoe structure has been changed. I’m not ordering Keens in the future.

These boots may not work for everyone, but they are perfect for me. I have Morton’s neuromas in both feet and need a lot of room in the toe box. These shoes gave me that. I exchanged the insoles for my orthotics, so I did order a half size up. Comfortable on the first wearing!
