Not real big on the steel toe boots but this one being a composite really does make a difference. They’re much lighter than regular steel toe boots. You can actually run in these lol.

I purchased these for work use. I work in a facility where I stand 10+ hours a day, indoors, and on smooth concrete. I tried a few other shoes, but I needed a bit more support. These have been great. They are not squishy like a running shoe, they have much better support than a Vans or Converse (both of which I like very much — just not for work), and the steel toe is nice to have (though I don’t really need it). I did have to play around with insoles. The original was perfectly fine and deserves the five stars as it did not detract from a wonderful boot. When I found the right aftermarket one, the boots went from quality to friends. They are the same warmth whether the warehouse is 50 degrees or 85 degrees. I blistered a bit the first day, but I should not have worn them for 10 hours. After the bit of fiddling, they were great before the week was out. They touch on the big side, but not that bad. Maybe 1/2 size. I have a pair of RedWing boots, and I wear the same size with basically the same fit.

These are the most comfortable work shoes I have ever purchased. They honestly feel like Nikes. I will only buy Irish Setters from now on.

Shoes felt great, no need to try any other work boots

Had to go a half size down because my heel was slipping in the back. Fantastic comfort and fit is a little snug now but they take about 1-2 weeks for the leather to start breaking in to make perfect fit. Good construction and sole on boot. Highly recommend. If you need to change size and zappos doesn't have it. The redwing store is more than happy to accommodate an exchange as long as they are resellable.

I have wide feet but the medium fit is perfect.The boot was true to size and is very comfortable.I have been using this same style boot for over 3 yrs and no complaints except I wish they came in black.

I normally run a size 12 in almost every shoe but did go wide to be able to wear thick socks comfortably. Very comfortable, currently on my second year but waiting for a restock to get the same pair since I really liked these. Definitely a light shoe and is flexible yet very sturdy. I did end up swapping the insole after a year for more support but insoles that came with the shoe were good as well. Would recommend this shoe till the day I leave this earth! (To go to space of course!)

These fit true to size and only took about 2 full days to break in. I wear them all day every day now. They are great for working in a warehouse with a concrete floor. I now find them more comfortable than my sneakers, even with the safety toe.

Boots were tight in width until I wore these a couple of days. Now they're spot on. Perhaps the most comfortable boot I've ever owned. I'd suggest these boots to anyone ( if Zappos ever carries them in your size). :)

I love this boots they’re awesome it’s been 1 week so far so good I usually wear 12 in everything but being composite I had to go with the 13 and a steel toe sock and if fits perfect. Material feels hard but in my opinion I like it. I would definitely recommend this boots I walked 8 miles on them on my shift. Feeling good

I absolutely love these boots. I would buy myself a 2nd pair just to have, in case they become dead stock.

great boot - perfect from day 1

These boots are true to size and have ok arch support. The only negative about these shoes is the price, but they are well worth it. Very competitive when trying to get a size you need. Worth the wait.
