Do not buy these shoes if you expect your son/daughter to actually use them like a child uses shoes. We got these for my 7 year old son for school. In less than two months (from September to early November) they are completely falling apart. The inner liners are all bunched up, the soles are literally falling off into the top of the shoe and the sole as two separate pieces, and the top stitching is coming completely undone by the tongue and laces. To be fair, he beats them up at recess...for a whopping total of 20 minutes a day. The rest of the time he is sitting at his desk, and they come off as soon as he gets home from school. For two years in a row we ordered another brand that lasted the entire year (of the same type of recess play) with little wear showing by the end of the school year. Unfortunately that shoe was no longer available, so having had good experiences with Sperry in the past, he decided to try these. There is NO REASON we should have have had to buy him new school shoes less than ten weeks into the school year. What an absolute WASTE OF MONEY! I very rarely write reviews...but I certainly hope other people READ AND BEWARE...based on our experience THESE SHOES ARE NOT WORTH THE CARDBOARD BOX THEY CAME IN. Very not typical of the Sperry brand. Buyer beware.

I love Sperry Shoes for the kids uniforms and I am usually 100% satisfied with the make and quality. However this pair fell short. Extremely lightweight, the laces tore within the first week and are frayed, and the front of the sole is already torn slightly. I love Sperry shoes and will buy the brand again however this pair was not that great.

My son has wide feet and these have been our go-to shoes for several years. These have a softer leather than previous pairs, but the fit is nice and my son says they are comfortable.

Although these shoes are marked “wide”, they are not for a kid with truly wide feet. They are still very narrow and rub the sides of my son’s feet. He also complained of the show rubbing on the back of his foot. The style is nice but definitely for boys with small and (very) narrow feet.

Great style and comfy no complains. Highly recommend for the summer.

My super picky son doesn’t complain about these shoes a bit! If he can’t wear his tennis shoes, he is ok wearing these on dressier occasions. Great shoes, good looking, classic design....can’t go wrong with Sperry—and nothing beats Zappos quick and convenient shipment.

I’ve bought sperry’s for years. This one for whatever reason just didn’t fit or feel the same. Really disappointing. Thank goodness for Zappos and their return policies.

True to size! My son loves wearing these to school.

Loved how light these were! While they are true leather and will hopefully wear well thought school, my son really appreciated that they didn't feel heavy or clunky like some of the uniform options we had tried!

I wear a size 9 and I ordered these in a kids 7. They fit well and they have a nice memory foam insole. I returned them because my daughter has them and she was horrified to see that I had gotten them too.

Very comfortable and stylish -boys loved wearing them to school and I loved the cushioned footbed and the wear without laces breaking or soles ripping. Got thru school year worn m-f. Bought again
