STill too narrow at the instep...even in Wide fit.

These shoes in Medium width are a bit too narrow and uncomfortable. My sons prefer the Wide fit for these shoes, even though they do not typically wear a Wide in other shoes. They look nice with their school u inform, but I typically have to buy them 3 or 4 pair a year. They are not very durable.

These were very narrow and the shoelaces were short. It's hard to get a full tie on the shoe. My son was unhappy with them.

Cute shoe but if your child cannot tie his own shoe laces, this is not the shoe to get. The shoe laces come undone a lot!

My son always wears a wide and this shoe in wide was very tight on his foot.

Uniform shoes for us so not much to get excited about. They are well made and last well.

Thought this was the perfect shoe for my son's school uniform, however, the laces kept coming undone. Definitely a problem for a young active boy.

My son is a size 12. I ordered a size 12 and 12.5 in this shoe because people said that they run small. Well they ran about a half size larger for us! Thank goodness for Zappos free returns!

The photos give the impression that the stitching is grey/ blue, which it’s not. The stitching is closer to white. We like the shoe but were looking for something in-line with what the photo reflects. We wanted a dressy-sneaker/ boat shoe for the fall. The white stitching makes this more of a summer item.

Really liked these shoes, but they have not held up over time. Probably fine for once in a while wear, but not for school. Only lasted a month and a half before they started falling apart.

We have bought other Sperry Kids shoes. These shoes are very stiff and narrow. My son really does not like them. He said they hurt and are tight in the toes and stiff. He has normal feet and the ones we bought before seem softer and a little wider. We had to return these and get something different. Also the laces are very short and difficult to get a full tie in!

This shoe was bought as a required school uniform shoe for a 5th grader. This shoe was used only for during school hours and only 4 days per week. Within 21 days of arrival, the sole of the shoe began to disintegrate. And not just in one spot, but in the front, back and middle of both of the shoes. Based on the way the sole looks, it appears that if this continues, the sole will separate from the side of the shoe and I'm sure my child will have very wet socks the next time it rains. I'm very disappointed. Sperry purports to be this high quality name brand product with a price point to match. Based on the reviews already on this site for this shoe, combined with my personal experience, I would be hard pressed to ever buy Sperry brand products again. If this wasn't a required school shoe, I would not buy this product, nor would I recommend it to anyone I know. The only pro of this product is that it fits true to size and is not overly narrow or overly wide.
