I bought this jacket for my 10 month old daughter, and I could just tell that she loved it! The bright color just fascinated her! It'll keep her warm this winter, especially next year in the early months. I would definitely recommend this for any parents looking for a warm thick jacket for their kids!

This is my daughter's everyday jacket and it's also great for special occasions.

My family bought this jacket for my 18 mos old niece for what is proving a mild NYC winter. We are all skeptical as to whether this jacket will keep her warm if the temperature dips to 20 degrees or so (it's been in the 60s, record breaking warmth in 2015 in NYC). The jacket is very light, which is great for the baby's stroller but again it doesn't seem so warm. There is no indication on the jacket as to what it's degree tolerance is... I have looked a few times, zilch, yet my coat came with that info. I will say, however, FANTASTIC DESIGN. I loved how the seems have an elastic which makes the jacket hug close to my niece and the hood is such that her head is well-framed and appears to be kept warm. Nice color - we chose pink - and the reversible side is very cute. When temperatures do dip this winter in NYC we will be sure to layer her up and not rely on the jacket alone. If only she could tell us if she's warm! Overall, I would say that if you live in a very cold climate - like 40 and below - call North Face to find out about their warmest jackets. This seems ideal for 40 degrees + though reviewers in Chicago swear by this jacket.

This coat was exactly what I was hoping for. It is warm but isn't super puffy or heavy. Our toddler loves it and I love that it is reversible. The purple color is really pretty too!

Warm, yet light in weight, for an active 4 year old girl. The jacket came in several different colors, and reversible for new look. I was able to find her favorite color, Purple.
