Super light and compact, but warm. Regains shape/look after unpacking. Simply the best.

I've taken this jacket on over a dozen camping and climbing trips and it keeps me warm even when I'm summiting.

I use this hoody in the early morning to wear off the chill. It's very light and keeps me toasty. Also it packs into a small bundle.

Extremely well-made, light and packable puffy! Fits a bit snug; I usually wear M but decided to get an L so I could layer a chunky sweater underneath.

I've been wearing this jacket for 1 full winter season now. It fits snugly around my body making it a great companion with a shell or bigger jacket.
The sleeves fit well and stay in place even when i'm being active or reaching in awkward directions. Folds up into a small package which is really handy.
I am an astronomer and have spent many nights out in the cold with this shell and can definitely vouch for it's ability to keep you warm. With a good base layer or two I can comfortably withstand -5c to -10c temps.

Have been buying a lot of the Arcteryx products.
Somehow I felt of purchasing too much. But it didn't stop me buying another one today.
Tried out this and bought it because of below reasons.
1. Perfect slim fit
2. Hood is great
3. Breathable
4. Easy to compress and pack
5. Stand alone / mid layer
6. Different products has its comfortably

This jacket is my go to whenever it is cold out. I love the warmth it gives and the barely there lightness and fit. I have used it cross country skiing in Finland when it was -28 degrees centigrade, hiking in Scotland and as a layer while skiing in all sorts of wintery conditions in Europe. I love that it takes up only a tiny space in my backpack.

I purchased the Cerium LT as a mid-layer mainly for some resort skiing, hiking, and general use. I almost always wear it under a shell, so for my purposes I am not worried about it snagging or tearing with use. I can see that a lot of people are complaining about the fabric being too fragile. While I do agree (and put durability as a "con"), I would say that is not the intent of this jacket. If you are looking for a more durable down jacket, the Thorium is what you need. The Cerium excels at being lightweight and packable. I have taken this on several walks around town under my Rush jacket in 5-10 degree F and wound up being sweaty. This is a very warm mid-layer.
I love the fit of the hood, forms a nice seal around my head and allows for good visibility. I would say the jacket could be a touch shorter on the front. I am 6 foot and 175lbs and a medium tends to ride up a bit being below the pivot point of my waist (this is a minor grievance and not worth taking off a star).
I would not recommend it as a stand-alone jacket due to it's thin fabric and having little wind resistance. I am very happy with my purchase

I initially bought the non-hooded version of the Cerium because I run hot when I hike/snowshoe/AT ski. However, I missed the small detail where below-freezing temperatures make my head very cold. So I decided to go for the hooded version and could not be happier. 6', 175 lbs, MEDIUM

5'10", 195#, athletic build - ordered in LARGE, fits perfectly.
This jacket is WARM! I've worn this hoody in 15 deg F weather and even w just light physical activity (walking, loading gear) had to unzip and then remove it! Super light weight and compresses to the size of 40 oz Hydroflask. Also looks great for casual wear. I throw this in my pack for emergencies (static in extreme cold).

As far as down jackets go, know what you're buying. For the weight, this is an extremely warm jacket. Arc'teryx has done a wonderful job creating a really warm, yet lightweight jacket that is surprisingly durable compared to other jackets of this weight. It also repels water well for only being a DWR jacket. Because of the 850 fill-power down, if you're doing something super active it can honestly be too warm in temperatures above 20-30 degrees F. I run hot but even so, it's a very warm jacket. Stuff-sack is effective and not undersized.

Love at first try-on. I tried several other brands of lightweight puffy jackets and they were too baggy around the middle. This one is just right. Measurements are chest: 32, waist: 25, hip: 36 and the XS fit fits perfectly over a base layer and sweater. Insanely warm.

My new favourite. Had new ski wear for Christmas and after some research online and great service at my local Escape Route retailer, I chose the Cerium LT. I love the colour - Whisky Jack - and the weight of the jacket. Given its technical ability I don't have to worry about the hood getting wet under my ski jacket and it's really cosy and warm.

I personally own several different Arcteryx jackets for many applications and activities. Between shells and insulated layers this fits my need for a warmer lightweight layer in addition to the ability to wear it as a lightweight very warm jacket. Arcteryx products have never disappointed me.
