I bought these to replace a pair of Addiction 12 in the same size. For some reason, the heel grip felt different and my foot did not feel secure in the back.

Item too short...need to go a whole size larger if you are considering this item...the arch seemed supportive and the shoe stabilizing...

I'd ordered EE after foot surgery, as I needed a lot of room in the toe box to spread my toes often to help unlock them. Very comfortable, however the ball area is not very cushioned - they could definitely use some & I will be adding. Seems to be a well-made shoe & the stylish colors help it to not look like a clown shoe in this temporarily necessary size.

I chose these over Altra Torins. I wish the toe box was shaped more like Altra, but sizing up to 9 from 8.5 gave me enough room (wide widths were out of stock). I need a nearly inflexible shoe to alleviate my foot pain. I also use green Superfeet because of my high arches. I like the color (grey with teal logo), though I wish Brooks would get ride of the white walls on the sole and get a little more creative with these uber functional shoes. Some of us want comfort and pizazz.

I really liked this shoe, but it's sized small. Needed 1/2 larger than my usual Brooks size. I would have kept this shoe except I ordered the Dyad 10 at the same time, and they were/are super duper comfy, and I only need one new pair of shoes.

This shoe ran a full size smaller. I am always an 11, but ended up having to get a 12 before my toes didn't touch. My daughter tried my 11s on (she normally wears a 10) and they fit her perfectly.

Brooks shoes are wonderful, IMO the only brand of running shoe that offers excellent support and wider widths. This particular style didn't work for me because the shape of the toe box caused it to rub against the side of my big toe. Brooks Ghost 12 is more comfortable on my feet.

I ordered two shoes so I could try the difference. This pair were heavier and stiffer than the other pair. That turns out to be a good thing for my use in the gym. It was easier to maintain balance for me - they held me feet firmly in place. I WISH there were color choices for wide shoes in the way there are for regular widths. The others, Adreniline GTS 19, are lighter weight shoes which was appealing. They are very comfortable on my very wide high instep feet. However, there was no sense of arch support for me. Not that it was bad, but it just was empty in my arch. And after walking a bit I noticed that I felt I was walking down hill even though it was level.

Fit is perfect. I always struggle with athletic shoes but the support is great and the wide width is perfect for me. I’m not loving the way the sole looks to be so thick, and for that it’s not my favorite shoe. Sleeker styling would make me want to wear this shoe for more everyday wear rather than just when I’m exercising.

I'm trying to find a replacement for Brooks Transcend 4. Brooks is up to Transcend 6, but none are offered on Zappo's at this time. The Brooks Addiction 13 was comfortable and had enough support to counter my overpronation. But the toebox was narrower than I prefer and a little too tapered. So I returned them.

My usual size in running shoes was too short so I’m reordering in a half size larger. They looked nice and felt very comfortable.

For this particular style, I have to order a full size up (10.5 vs. 9.5) and a double wide instead of a wide. That being said, these shoes are very comfortable and make walking much easier with my lower back injury and leg pain. I switched to the Adrenaline for my last pair of Brooks, but they were way too narrow in the toe box and didn't provide that same level of comfort. My only issues with these particular pair is the color I had to order due to size constraints-I really wanted the grey/blue combo, but had to go with black and hot pink.

I was pleased to find the Brooks addiction in black narrow. I wear a 9N in Stuart Weitzman and always have to size up in an athletic shoe. I bought a 10N. I did not see the quality problems other reviewers mentioned. I wear them for walking and when I need a good support shoe.

The toe was definitely shorter than my other 10.5 brooks.

This shoe runs SHORT. I purchased 1/2 size longer than I normally do, and the length fits. I normally wear size 11, and this is probably the first 11 1/2 that I have found. Nice shoe, good support for over-pronator, buy it half size LARGER than you normally buy.

I have been wearing this shoe in a Medium width and my podiatrist recommended ordering a Wide width. The Wide shoe is exactly the same width as the Medium shoe. What's up with that?

I have a narrow foot and these fit well.

The shoes laces for the addiction 13 are ridiculously short. You can’t do the loop to help hold your heel down with these pathetically short laces. The addiction 12 laces (previous year model) were absolutely tooooo long. Brooks needs to fix the lace length problem!

Nice style and the footbed is soft yet supportive. I have a narrow foot yet the lace area rubbed the top of my foot. I wear thicker socks due to this.

I have been buying versions of this exact shoe for years, size 8.5. I have problems with my feet and this shoe has been great. However, I bought a new pair this past spring and thought they felt a little short in the toe. I hoped it was just that pair (but honestly couldn't wear them - they hurt my foot) and just recently bought another pair, hoping they would be better. Unfortunately, not. Will try a size 9 just to see, but otherwise, after 12 years, will have to find a different shoe. What happened Brooks???

These shoes were a 1/2 size too small. I always wear a size 11.

I just got the 13's. I previously had 12's and experienced excellent fit and wear. So far the 13's fit me well and have good support...felt immediate improvement from previous pair which I work for 8 months(too long according to my pediatrist). I am concerned about the other reviews which complain about how well they hold up over time. But I never run just walk and cycle so maybe I will do better.

I have been wearing this shoe since the 80’s. Perfect shoe for my narrow, long flat feet. For the last 2 years or so the only color I can get in my size is the ugliest one. The material is SO cheap. If it didn’t support my feet/ back problems so well I would definitely change brands.

I normally wear a 9 in athletic shoes and boots, an 8 1/2 in all other shoes. So I ordered these in a 9M. They were too small, so I'm having to return them. For the record, they felt very sturdy and supportive despite running small.
