It's good and comfirtable for hike

These did work with my arthritic foot, but only after I replaced the insole with my orthodics. The heels are a bit too wide but will work. My podiatrist told me to buy these shoes for the support. For what they are, they're fine. I'll buy them again because they do work. Personally, I like the style of my Sketchers better.

These shoes are true to size and comfortable. I would purchase them again.

I have flat feet and use sneakers for walking (not running). I have a 9-10 D/EE foot in a sneaker, and because of bunions and hammer toes I need a wide, deep toe box and mesh fabric uppers that leave room for my toes with 3/4 length orthotics and socks. Because of some reviews that said this shoe runs small, I went for the 9.5 instead of 9. The width of the D in this one is fine, the mesh uppers are yielding but look like they could go out in the rain, and I like the colors and style. It's slightly long for a 9.5, but not so much that I'm likely to trip over the toe. Like all sneakers, it doesn't have enough arch support for me, but with orthotics it's fine for walking. For people with foot issues like mine, I can recommend this sneaker.

If you need a roomy toe box these are not the shoes for you.

Great sneaker. I have big wide feet made wider by a bunion so most of the time wide width still aren’t wide enough for me. These shoes fit like a dream and although I was a little hesitant about the pink it’s subtle enough for me.

I wear a 9.5 W and liked the width and style of these. Arch support also good but the upper hit around my ankle. It like the shoe was a bit too tall for my foot. Have to return.

I use ASICS GEL-Venture 6 for running and they're very comfortable. The arch support on these are FANTASTIC. I think the only drawback to these shoes is the mesh-like material used as an accent. The top of my shoe got caught on something early on and it ripped the mesh a little bit. Due to the mesh pattern being attached to fabric underneath, it can't be cut out not much can be done about it. It's not a big deal and it hasn't affected the performance of my shoes yet - just made them look a bit worn out prematurely.

Okay for work probably will be getting a more expensive pair because I have sensitive arches and sometimes I feel a little pain

I had bought a pair of New Balance shoes over a year ago and hardly wore them as they were on the tight side even though I had bought wide width. These Asics were also wide width and they fit me so much better. My toes didn't feel all squished like the New Balance shoes. I wore it in my house all day to test the comfort and I'm happy to say it passed! I'm not a runner, just a walker, so I'll be making good use of these Asics. I also love the color!

The shoe is very comfortable - I haven't worn Asics in a long time so no comparison to prior models. I have a slightly wide foot and ordered my normal size of 8 in a wide. The toe box is perfect - I agree with another reviewer that the heel area is a bit too wide, but not enough to return the shoes. The color is also cute (grey and seashell). Thanks to Zappos for making shoe shopping fast and easy!

These shoes are comfortable and supportive. My feet do feel roomy in them, but I would not say they are 1/2 size too big. I do not run much but walk and hike on uneven ground. These shoes offer excellent ankle support. I recommend them!

These shoes are the right length and in the wide width have lots of room in the toe box. I found them too loose in the ankles, which made them a worse choice for trail running. They are also a little heavy which makes for very loud foot steps in the woods.

I got these to help with my plantar fascitis, they feel fantastic. The reviews said to go half a size larger, which I did, but that makes them slightly too big. I use my arch supports and they fit very well.

This is the second pair of this particular shoe I have ordered. This one actually feels smaller than the other pair. Go figure. But, not so much smaller that I cannot wear them. I plan to use a shoe stretcher to make them fit more comfortable. I can use my Orthotics which is one of the reasons I bought them. I guess I would recommend them, but don't know about running, as I don't use them for that purpose.

I ordered a 7.5 Wide. I love Asics Gel a lot and it's been years since I have been able to find them in my size. I'm 50 and recently off crutches for irritating the collagen-protein sac under the kneecap. Loved these sneakers when I first put them on. I just walked around the house with these and my same knee hurts...it has hurt every time I try a new shoe...dress, sandal or sneakers and the doctor said to rid the heels and go flat. This sneaker lined up next to my size 8 Nike runners are at least a half size longer. Nike has a bunch of anti-roll width on the sole so the Asics and Nike sole width match but I don't believe the Nike footbed is as wide as this Asics. I have to scrunch my foot forward to feel the arch support under my arch and then I can put one index finger between my heel and shoe.

Comfortable shoes for my wide footed daughter.

Fit and size were as expected--but I've worn a lot of Asics so I generally order 1/2 size up. I wear these for treadmill walking and gym workouts, and they're great.

These are my everyday shoes. My podiatrist recommended Asics Gel and I have found them to be an excellent choice. They are recommended because I have a tendency to plantar facitis. They seem to be doing the trick.

I needed to buy new running shoes and it has been more difficult than I would have thought. These shoes are OK, they don't seem to be as good as my old ones. The old saying, when you buy sneakers the first thing you do is throw away the inserts, is still true. I use spenco inserts because they have a decent arch support.
