Outstanding materials, colors and traction for a very enjoyable walk or run.

I love these shoes. The only oddity was I've come to expect a pair of last eyelets that you can do the loop thing to get better tightness around the tongue. This doesn't really detract from the shoes fit, but was unexpected. WOuldn't trade them back though they are so comfortoable

Been wearing the same pair for a year and a half now, using them as work shoes,, working part time mornings @ a large department store. I walk an average of 3 1/2 miles on a 5 1/2 hr. shift, & they are holding up awesome, unlike the previous Venture series that had multiple laminated treads, that came unglued pretty quickly. These treads are pretty much solid, with just the forward & heel part, & a lot more waterproof also because of this ''way better'' tread design. I figure that they should last me at least another 6 months,, & I will then get another comparable pair.

I bought these as trail running shoes but they worked so well I ditched my waterproof Merrel MOAB hiking boots and only hike in these now. (I realized waterproof keeps water out, but also keeps water IN) Over the summer our family hiked around 150 miles, including many "in-the-river" hikes like the Narrows and Subway at Zion. They stayed on well, drained & dried out fast. My wife bought some new Merrel hiking shoes for that 9-week summer trip, I wore my already year+ old Venture 6. Her Merrels were splitting apart by the end of the 9 weeks and I'm still wearing my Ventures! Also... I'm wear 4E (i should probably wear 6E, I have Hobbit feet) and Asics are the only shoes that fit really well for me. I was THRILLED when they started offering the Gel-Cumulus in 4E again!

Very comfortable to wear if you're on your feet all day. Shoes are solidly made. ASICS have really helped with my recovery from a torn ligament in my foot.

The gel venture 6 is the best fitting shoe since the first generation of the Leadville 3. I have tried numerous other shoes that come in 4E but this has been the best shoe I've been able to find in the last few years. They provide great support and have plenty of toe room which is important to me. I liked it so much I bought three pairs.

This shoe is excellant in comfort and fit and finish!. I dont run with them but do alot of walking and hiking so this review is for walking. Also love the color and styling patern, its not too teenager in looks so some of us older folks can wear them and not get any strange looks!.

sneaker was ok.. nothing to write home about.. Not sure why there's GEL in the name for this sneaker... didn't feel any.

Light and great support everything you expect from ASICS!

The shoes are very supportive. I have never had this amount of comfort and support from a shoe.

Have only owned Gel-Venture 6 for a week or so but so far delivering all that is expected to address my supination.

Fairly new to running, thought my constant shin and ankle soreness was normal but changed to these shoes and they've almost all subsided minus normal soreness. Would recommend these to new runners.

Extremely comfortable, with excellent padding on the sole. They do run a little warm -- probably not enough to matter to most people, but I tend to get hot feet anyway, so it occasionally bothers me. I haven't stopped wearing them, though. I was getting shin splints from walking on concrete in my former shoes, and these have taken those pains away!

I jogged 30 miles a week in these shoes for 6 months. They held up great. Very surprised how comfortable but how tough and rugged these shoes are. Love the black and light grey colors too! My favorite shoe for the price....very reliable.

I would like to return it. Size is bigger than normal. Plus the gel inside it's literally like a piece of brick. Im very disappointed. This is my second pair of Asics. The first was was great. And i wanted to get a new one. But big disappointment. With this one my plantar fasciitis will definitely get worse.

Fit is true to size. Good traction on bottom of shoe.

These shoes immediately helped me to solve a longstanding issue with my gait. Not only have I been running harder and getting more of my legs involved with each stride, but my chronic shin splits are almost entirely gone, and I'm moving with a confidence that I haven't felt in years. Very good shoes.

These shoes are comfortable, true to size, and great for trail running.

These Gel-Venture 6 shoes are fantastic! I have 4 pairs of them in different colors. Love the fit and feel, very well made. Awesome colors with a classy look. My favorite style by far.

These are very supportive and comfy. ASICS brand shoes have always been my favorite and these do not disappoint. For shoe that is on the cheaper end of their line it fits like it's a way more expensive shoe.

Light weight, well built, good ankle support, sized properly and a joy to slip on for the gym, or going on a brisk walk.
