These shoes are garbage, my heels hurt when ever I wear them. This is the first and last time I will buy Asics. Stay away from Asics, there are far better shoe company's out there.

I have run for years in the ASICS Nimbus 17. They were the most comfortable, best fitting, long lasting shoe ever. But, now Nimbus 17 can't be found - we are on to the Nimbus 21 this year. So, I had to buy what I could find. The Nimbus 19 was the closest to 17 that I could get my hands (actually feet) on. I am very, very disappointed. 1. The soft, cloud like insole and cushiony feel to the foot is gone. Now they are hard and stiff. Even after 3 months of running in them 20 to 25 miles a week. 2. The sizing and fit is way, way different. They are shorter, narrower, and tighter making them quite uncomfortable. 3. They feel stiff, hard and don't absorb much of the shock as my feet hit the ground in them. So, ASICS - I am very, very disappointed that I am stuck with a pair of bad shoes until I can afford to replace them. I do not recommend these shoes at all.

These are super comfortable and pretty! However, after a few wears I have noticed that they ripped on the sides. It's especially upsetting as I only wear them to the gym. I have purchased asics before and never had this issue. I had a family member purchase at the same, the same style, but different color and they are perfectly fine.

I've run in Asics gel cumulus shoes most of my adult life. I chose the cumulus for the great arch support. The 19's feel as though there is NO arch support at all. Very disappointed. The hunt begins for a new running shoe....

I have purchased Cumulus shoes for a number of years prior to the 19 with great fit and comfort. The first time I wore these 19's for a walk, the top portion of my big toenail seperated from the side of my toe bed, clear evidence of the very narrow toe box. Any time I tried to wear them again, both big toes are sore afterwards. Many reviews state the narrow toe box, but I thought they were exceptions with perhaps wider feet. I have never required wide sizing of any shoe. Why this dramatic change in design would be implemented is incomprehensible and a disservice to repeat Asics customers.

Bought this as a gift and came in a ripped basics shoe box. Shoes arrived dirty. So embarrassed but the person leaves out of state and already received the gift.

Disappointed, sent back because I purchased two pairs, wore one only to find out that they gave me blisters, stuck with that pair.

I have bought many ASICS shoes and this is worst pair yet. The 19's are not as good as previous versions.

I recently tried these on in an attempt to replace my cumulus 16's that I have ordered and reordered for the past 2 years. Unfortunately, I think I bought every new 16 (I mean these are dinosaurs by now) that the World Wide Web has to offer haha. Again, these just quite didn't hit the mark. Every model beyond the 16 hasn't worked for me. It seems that the toe box has become far too narrow and short. Please please please bring back the fit of the 16 or any gel cumulus model prior than that. If you have any secret hidden 16's hiding in your files, let me know ;). I'll pay top dollar. I've since switched to another brand that isn't working for me either. I'm an Asics girl, so if there is a current model available that is comparable to gel cumulus 16, please provide a recommendation.

I bought them a month ago and every time I run I get a new blister.

im a pretty avid runner and have learned that asics suits me best - but this is the worst pair i have ever had. i purchased the size and width I always do but my feet were just "smothered" in this shoe. I will never have a gel-cumulus again.

I bought these in the fall of 2017 with hopes of them "breaking in". They never have broke in. I am a size 9 wide and I ordered a size 10 wide...and still too tight in the toe. The extra padding at the back of the shoe seems to push my foot forward. I can't even use these to run it. I have since tried to use them to just "work" in...nope...this is the last day that i am going to wear them.

Very dissapointed - these are very narrow at the toe - fit nothing like previous Gel Cumulus 18 - eended up sending them back as could not wear them in comfort - re ordered Gel Kayano 24 and these seem excellent

I am looking for an Asics shoe with the same features as the GT1000 5, since they are sold out. These are not true to size-they are at least 1 size too small. The toe box is too narrow. I had to return them. Still looking for a replacement for the GT1000 5. I wish Asics would just leave a great shoe alone.

I have been running in ASICS for years but the sizing and the toe box has been shrunk so much I can no longer wear them. I have tried different styles, in different sizes and widths but I have sent them all back. I am so disappointed in this company! I have changed to a completely different running shoe and I won't be coming back.

I bought this shoe in wide because I was reading the previous reviews that they were coming in smaller. Well they are right! I ordered my shoe size 9 wide and it still fit tight. These shoes feel like the "Nimbus" and not the Cumulus. I miss the older versions of the Cumulus. I will have to return these shoes. Very frustrating.

These shoes feel completely different from previous experiences. They are very stiff and not comfortable. In addition, after my first 10-mile run, I developed an awful case of shin splints, which I had never suffered in my running life. I am still struggling with the shin splints and stopped wearing them. I need to return the 2 pairs I bought.

I have loved gel nimbus for many years. I decided to try gel cumulus 19 and found that it was at least a half size smaller than I had experienced but also that the toe box was significantly smaller than the nimbus. The shoe was not wearable with it's tiny toe box.

Runs small and narrow. Not as cushiony as I need. Returned this.

Please go back to the wider toe box in the cumulus. Lately, the toe box have been tighter and that is unfortunate.
