This coat is perfect for the chilly, Midwest winters. The layers keep my son noce and warm through the hours of snow play. Also great that you can remove the inside layer and essentially have 2 coats for different climates.

My son loves it

This is such a nice coat and it easily turns into two separate pieces that are equally functional depending on the weather. My 6-year-old son is quite happy with it and it looks really great too.

We moved from Holland and our son needed a warm, reliable coat that is needed for outdoor play and ice skating. This coat seem to be a great choice as it is warm enough allowing room for body heat generation as kids tend to move around and get warm.

Bought a large in this coat for my 9 year old in yellow and it looks great! My son says he is warm. I like the 2 in one jacket and all of the compartments and details like the drawstring bottom. I used the sizing tool on the website and they suggested the large. The best part is that he has room to grow and will be able to wear it next winter.

This was the perfect jacket for my 11 year old son. It is a little big but we had anticipated that so he will hopefully get 2 years out of it. He is tall, athletic and lean. I love that the hood just tucks in instead of being removed so you aren't caught with it at home when you need it. I would highly recommend this coat, well worth it!

This is the second one that we bought. My boys love that they can wear a thinner coat and add the outer shell when they are playing in the snow or snowboarding. It keeps them warm.

This jacket is really 3 jackets in one...a super warm ski jacket, a water resistant shell, and a cozy fleece. My son loves it.

Really nice durable coat!

My son is 14, is 5'3" and we bought him an XL hoping he'll be able to wear this coat for two seasons. He loves it and wears the inside liner alone many days. We decided on this coat/system for the ability for him to wear the shell over a sweatshirt when he snowboards but also to have a very warm coat with the liner and shell for the days it dips below zero!

This jacket is great for all weather occasions. My 10 year old son loves it and the versatility. He loves all the options. It's also super easy to clean.

This coat has it all! Were looking for a really good ski coat to keep kids dry and warm on the slopes. This is the best- not only does it work well for skiing, but the puffer jacket zips out and can be used as an every day winter jacket in and of itself. Completely worth the price since you are getting 2 coats in one.

Perfect for my son. Lots of storage. Haven't tried it skiing yet but he's really excited to try the Google cloth and snow skirt.

I ordered this coat for my 13 year old grandson who was still in China. He was adopted by my daughter & son in law and was in need of a warm coat for his arrival to the USA. His size was determined by his height and weight with the help of a Northface representative. The representative was right on target and the coat fit perfectly. This coat will basically grow with the child! My grandson wore it the first night out with us. It fit him perfectly, not to bulky but incredibly warm. Since he had lived in a warm region of China and not use to wearing bulky clothes it was the perfect combination. Warm but comfortable!
