Took several wears to break in. The rim of the heel was very stiff and I developed some mild blisters but after several wears they're better. I think they are a bit narrow in comparison to other Asics I've owned. Very cute, though and fell well made in my current wears.

Nice looking shoe, relatively comfortable right out of the box. The tongue , however, is miniscule, both narrow, short and not really padded. I have a high arch and there is not enough padding to keep the laces from digging into the top of my foot. Base cushioning is good. I also have the GEl-Craze 4 and the tongue padding is so much better.

After reading the reviews I order a 1/2 size larger and am very glad I did! Nice looking shoe but definitely much "stiffer" than my other Asics. I, too, hate that the manufacturer changes (cheapens?) the shoe when they make newer models. I am hoping these break in a bit more and become more comfortable. The only reason I rated them 4 stars overall is because of the style!

Initially I ordered a size 7 because I have another pair of ASICS that are size 7 and fit perfect. I had to return the 7 and get a 7.5 and could have even gone to an 8 but these are stretching a little so will be fine. Overall I’m happy with them... cute and comfy!

Love the look at fit of this shoe. The heel section is VERY hard while the rest of the shoe is soft and fairly unstructured, but not in a bad way. The extremely structured heel isn’t bad, just takes some getting used to.

Comfortable. I ordered two pairs of Asics, and i found these put your foot at a forward angle. The heel really presses against the back of your foot. I actually got a blister on one heel from it. However, it could just be the breaking in factor. I love the style and they are comfortable.

Based on other reviews I ordered an 8.5 while I typically wear an 8 in athletic shoes (Nike & ASICS), yet found this to be too big. Very comfortable but too big so these will be going back.

I am returning these shoes due to the fit. After reading the reviews, I ordered a half size larger than my normal size and they were still to small. My left foot was numb from the shoe being too tight and my toes hit the front of the shoe. Not my favorite style either.

Great shoe but make sure you order a half size larger than usual because they run small. Overall I’m very pleased with the stability and arch support.

Asics seems to have changed their overall shoe design - narrower in the toe box and half size smaller than before. These shoes are okay - firm sole and good arch support, but I purchased Adidas that are much more comfortable.

Contrary to what others have said I thought these shoes ran much bigger than my size. I put my own inserts in for arch support and my inserts I’ve always used in shoes don’t fill the whole shoe like they usually do.

I agree these are smaller than the usual Asics, toe box is pretty tight. I'm size 9 but always take a 10 in running shoes. I have other Asics in 10 that are great, this 10 was too small. I would need at least a 10.5, maybe even an 11. The shoe feels good though but not sure if I will try another size.

I've been wearing Asics running sneakers for well over 10 years now, and always wear a size 8.5, however (as other reviews noted) these sneakers do run a little small. I'd recommend ordering a half size up, as the 9 is a better fit for me. The shoe is adorable and comfortable. So far my only complaint, other than the sizing, is that the mesh overlay of the toe isn't very protective if running in the rain. Even though I try to avoid running straight through puddles, my toes were damp after a run when it was only a little misty outside. I'm still going to keep these but next time I order sneakers I may go back to my trusty gel-kahana or venture.

I really liked these shoes but unfortunately, I was sent a pair that had been previously worn. Like, more than just tried on. There was gravel in the treads and staining on the rubber sole. Zappos was fantastic about crediting me for the purchase. It was sad because I really liked them and wanted them to work out.

I was disappointed with this shoe. I have worn Asics for years but am finding that the sizing has changed and they are not as comfortable as they used to be. I need a wide toe box which was one of the things that drew me to Asics but recently they have become narrower. I did not find these shoes comfortable and will have to replace them. I wish Asics would go back to their previous styles from a couple years ago.

These are cute and have great arch support. However, the top of the shoe around the laces are too stiff and hurts the top of my foot. Unfortunately, they are going back. I did order a half size up and it was still too small. I suggest you order a full size up.

The overall appearance was ok, not very exciting. The material felt scratchy and stiff, so not comfortable. They seemed a little narrow and were a lower profile at the ankle than I would like. Ok for the price I guess, but they were returned nonetheless.

I had to return this shoe because it was too narrow for my forefoot. Very uncomfortable.

These shoes ran small - so small that my daughter was uncomfortable putting them on. I know the size was right because they were exactly the same size as the nikes I purchased for her a few months ago (these were replacement shoes for the nikes she just lost). Luckily I have a younger child that could use them, so I didn't have to do a return. If buying these shoes, I suggest ordering a half size larger.

These shoes are comfortable on the footbed but the heel is too stiff and tight and pinches your Achilles. Blister prone beware.

Normally a 6 in an athletic shoe, it seems all manufacturers are skimping and shrinking a half size. I've had this problem with Ryka's too. Liked the look of the Exalt-4, but it was narrow in the toe box. I have a pretty narrow foot, and after trying them on and walking around a bit, my right pinkie toe hurt. So I took them off and let them sit around another couple of days before I tired them again. Same problem. So I sent them back. A little gunshy now to buy Asics again, and that is a bummer, as I was a big fan of Asics, Avia's and Ryka's. Now I'm down to Avia's? Haven't bought any in a while. Generally not a fan of how all sneaker mfr's seem to have cheapened down on the cushioning of the shoes so they wear out much quicker than they used to.

I usually wear a 7.5 or an 8, but ordered an 8.5 based on the reviews. They fit, and they felt good at first, but after wearing them to workout in one time, they felt very stiff. That said, they look good. Just not comfortable & wouldn’t recommend

I have worn size 10.5 asics for over a decade, and my size10.5 GT-2000s fit fine, but these shoes fit differently. While they hugged my skinny heels perfectly (something the GT-2000s dont do as well), the toebox was tight. But if I go up another half size to accommodate the toebox, I’m sure the heel will be loose, so these are going back. Too bad because they look great. For some perspective on sizing, I normally wear a size 9 in dress shoes and sandals.

Felt a full size too short! I ordered 1/2 size up as per other reviewers, and found the 10 to be too short. No arch support, flat insole.
