I Really wish these had been "the ones" because I love the color and the cushion. Even the arch support is more sufficient than most I have found. But I ordered a Wide and it is just not wide Enough for my big feet. One the white sole of the inside there are blue dots like dye was somehow transferred. This is found on both shoes, only on the inside, but not on the outside, so it appears to be a flaw.

I have been a Asics fan for years, but this shoe is def smaller in the toe box than all of the others I have ordered, (probably 10 pairs or more). My size is 9.5 D, and these are going back. Thanks Zappos for your great return policy.

I really like these shoes! They are light but still have good support. The pinky peach is really a pretty color, soon they will be covered in dirt and mud, but cute to start! I ran two miles on the treadmill as soon as I got them and they were comfortable and I didn't have any spots that rubbed. I do think that they run a bit small and you may want to go up a half size or even a full size depending on how much room you like in your running shoes.

I've been wearing Asics GT-1000 for well over five years. I went to an Asics store and did a running test to get fitted for the best show. I'm in my 50s and wanted the best possible shoe for my foot that was good for indoor and outdoor running. Either the GT-1000 or GT-2000 were recommended. So I usually just order another pair, size 11M when they wear down. This time the 11M didn't fit. Nor did the 11W. I had to go to the 11.5 wide to secure a good fit. I was very surprised by the change in size, but pleased to know it was the same solid running shoe I need. It's cushiony and sturdy and keeps my knees and ankles from feeling stressed. I recommend if you prefer a heavier, sturdy show. Just be prepared to go up a half size now.

Toe box is weird. I always wear 10.5 in Asics (had like 5 pairs) and I had to get an 11 because my toes felt squished. They actually hurt after wearing the 11 for a day. After I clipped my toenails they fit better, but they are still snug lengthwise, like from the tips of my toes across the whole top of the shoe. I LOVE the color, it is beautiful, which is why I gave it 4 stars. Also, they are comfortable, quite squishy on the bottom. One thing I miss is the little band of leather across the front of the toes that other Asics tennies have; it makes my long foot appear shorter.

Nice but run narrow

Usually have no problem with Asics. My go to brand. These were so tight!

I can see why other reviews said the toe box is small. It’s great for me because my feet are so narrow. Great shoe and lots of cushioning while jogging!

These shoes are nice, but the heel was wider than I expected (I buy asics for the wide toes and narrow heels.) Perhaps I just need a different style.

these run small. I have always worn Asics but with the gel ones think you have to up a size.

The toe box is narrower than previous Asics styles I've owned, to the extent that they weren't real comfortable at first, but that has improved with wear. The navy color is very classic looking. It's nice to have a color combination that doesn't loudly scream "athletic shoe!"

I have a wide foot and the 8.5 wide was too narrow and the 9 wide was too long. Wish they ran wider.

Cute shoes & seemed to have good support, but weren't wide enough for my D-width feet. I really liked how they looked & wished I could keep them, but there was just too much pressure on the sides of my feet, so I am returning them.

I ordered two pairs, black and a turquoise, of 10 M in April and they fit perfectly. The soles of the black pair were showing wear from the daily walk so I ordered another pair in all black, same size. The heel was too wide on this pair and I kept stepping out. I tried a variety of lacing configurations and nothing solved the issue. This was after putting in my own orthotic. Am returning and looking for another all black style. It's hard for me to rate the size, the length was the same as the previous one but the heel was a different fit.

I can't figure out Asics any more! I would give four stars for this shoe, but I'm still deciding if it fits. I used to be an 8 medium in Asics, across several styles. The last year (maybe even two) I'm sometimes 8, sometimes 8.5. And even then, the 8.5 is too big, while the 8 is definitely too small. In these, I ordered 8.5, and am waiting on a size 8 from another online site. Zappos did not have an 8, or I would have ordered one of each. The shoe is comfortable and has the arch support I need. I got a grey color, which I like very much. However, it seems a little narrow for a medium width. I think it's still ok for me, but I expected a little more room. The length is the bigger concern, depending on the sock I wear. With a thicker sock, I think it's good. But with a thinner running sock, they seem a little big. So, these probably run more true to size. When I get the 8, I will be able to compare. If the 8 is too small, I think I will keep the 8.5 because it's better to have a little more room in an athletic shoe.
