They’re great for wide feet, which I have.

Very comfortable. However, I did have to go up a 1/2 size as compared to GT-1000 3, which I am still wearing.

Great work shoe with support. Helps my feet not hurt.

Very comfortable for a run. The upper gives a lot of air but it does make for a low toe box. I feel like my toe is going to poke through the fabric sooner than later but this was definitely the shoe I preferred. Supportive but not overly constructed. Feels like it runs a 1/2 size small. I always get asics in a wide as I find the regulars run more narrow.

I ordered a 10 wide instead of my normal 10. I have a slightly wider foot that usually doesn't require a wide width. Based my purchase off of the reviews and couldn't be happier. Very comfortable.

Perfect fit in all regards! I ordered 4 styles of Asics and these were by far not the most expensive, but the best fit and comfort!

I love how these look and feel! Would definitely buy again.

I really like these Ascis. I have flat feet and there is alot of cushioning on the bottom and my ankles don't overpronate. I read the previous reviews and I always ordered Asics 1/2 larger 7 1/2 this time I got the wide size 7 1/2 W since everyone said they run narrow. They are a bit snug I am still in the process of breaking them in.Love the the grey and orange color. I have the dots on the side of my shoes also but looked carefully at the pictures and they are suppose to be there.

Been buying Asics forEVERRRRRR. Apparently the GT 1000-6 shoe of this year is not the same 1000-6 as last year (per discussion w Asics c/s rep). They revised the 1000-6 to be narrower in the toe box. If I wanted the same fit as my exisiting shoe, the Asics rep told me to get 1000-7. I am not certain ordering a half size or 1 size bigger would have resolved the issue as the toe box was much more narrow- with a much more snug fit. Love this shoe- with the proper fit, I love these more than my slippers! :)

I have a pair of ASICS gt-1000 regular width. I read the reviews on this pair and it was noted to be narrow in the toe box so I purchased the wide. I found them to be way too narrow in the toe box and returned them.

These were more comfortable than Nike. Also they are pretty understated design wise which I like. Ultimately I returned because Another pair of Asics were a better fit.

I'm still deciding on this shoe because I'm not sure of the size. Asics seem to run small for me lately. I used to be able to order an 8 with confidence, but the last two pairs I ordered I had to go to 8.5. So, I ordered the 8.5 this time. They are a little big, so I think they are true to size for 8.5. Now, the size 8 in the color I like (I actually have a grey shoe) is out of stock, so I'm torn. They are not "huge" by any means, but with a thin sock, they might be sloppy. It's cold where I live, and I wear more of a medium sock in winter. Otherwise, I like them. They have the right arch support for me, and enough stability. I need a stability shoe, but not a ton. I only overpronate a little. I like Asics a lot, and don't usually wear other brands. I just wish the sizing could be consistent. I'm wearing them around the house for a day or two, maybe with different socks.

Just received this pair. Tried them on with my thickest boot socks to check fit. A tiny bit snug in the right foot, but I do not plan to wear those socks with these shoes. Now I know other socks and bare feet will work. Ordered these in Medium. My heels are Narrow, but I order Medium for extra width needed in the toebox for right foot which is slightly larger than the left one. Really hip-looking black shoe, something I had been trying to find to replace my lack Reeboks. Been purchasing Asics for years. I find Asics fit me pretty much true to size and provide great support. I also have the Asics Gel- Ultra Enhance 4.0 which I love. Hoping the GT-1000 6 will be as comfortable. Four stars until this pair passes the test.

Overall I like these shoes, but I wish the soles had a bit more cushion and support. I usually wear a 7 1/2 wide, but had to go to a size 8 for these to fit comfortably.

I have difficulty finding good shoes with enough support, and that don’t slide on my heel! These fit the bill. Love the color, the fit is good, would order again!

I ordered my normal size and had to return as my toe was hitting. Many have made the suggestion to order half size up. So after my normal size, I did just that. This is one of the MOST comfortable running shoes ever! Lots of cushion in the toe and heal, can't say enough about that. Though, I have not be able to run in them due to a knee surgery (frustrating!!). I have walked in them a lot and again love the comfort but I am concerned they are too loose in the width of the toes and that would really mess me up while running! So I will say they are comfortable for running but concerned the width is lose. I ordered my normal width of medium/standard that I have worn in every other shoe. I also ordered the latest model of gt 2000-6 and compared to this one it is a stiffer shoe and not nearly the cushion compared to this one. I am praying they will work for running but I currently have my doubt. This was my first Asics running shoe purchase and I want it to work out but I have a brand new Saucony Omni 16 that works great. Not as much cusion in the toe as this Asics GT1000-6 though.

I usually wear Asics GT2000, but thought I'd try GT1000. Bad idea — not enough support or cushioning.

I ordered a size 7 and the fit seemed pretty true to size. They have pretty good support so overall a decent shoe.

This is the first time I’ve had to purchase wide width for a pair of sneakers. I’m not sure how they would do for a person who has a truly wide foot. It also took me a little while to break the shoe in, and I did a little targeted surgery on the insole. I felt like there was a lump on the outside of the shoe just behind the ball of the foot. I trimmed down the foam on the insole with a pair of very sharp scissors and then wore the shoes walking all over San Francisco. Now they feel great! It was such a relief to find a pair of shoes!
