All good. I just found another grey shoe that was a darker color that I decided I liked better. Would buy this shoe next time, maybe in another color.

I love the look of the shoe, i ordered my normal size, they felt both tight across the top, as well as more like A narrow width, instead of wide, I'll be returning them.

I wore them right out of the box! Wish they had more color like others but they fit perfect!

These feel great - and don't even notice them when I'm running.

I always buy these running shoes, my favorite.

I wanted these too fit so bad! The cushy insole was very comfy but the wide was not wide enough. Sadly had to return.

Love ASICS for running and walking, and these were great right out of the box. They are a little bulkier / less lightweight than others I've loved in the past but still got the job done! And I got so many compliments on the color :) Highly recommend.

I've used Asics running shoes for nearly two decades. I've also used New Balance. I discovered Asics after an injury (iliotibial band) I sustained from running with the wrong shoes. Through physical therapy, I found out the kind of shoe I needed--stability for overpronation, high arch. Yes, today's Asics don't feel like they used to 15-20 years ago, and the run half a size smaller. But, to me, they're still the best value out there. I bought these after wearing my old Asics to the point of near disintegration. Oh, how good my feet felt the minute I put these on! Excellent fit, awesome feel, great support, perfect decision to buy them. I expect them to be more durable, too, because of the stronger breathable fabric (vs. the thinner, breakable mesh) in the toe area. Highly recommend them.

I started working out for the first time in many years and immediately had ankle pain. My trainer recommended new shoes, like a new sneaker could make that much difference. Well it does, my knees feel better, my ankles feel better. Lots of cushion and support. My legs aren't as tired after a work out. They are a little narrow, but not so much that its a problem. Love these shoes.

I am now buying a size larger (9 vs 8) and that seems to work better. I only wear sneakers due to feet issues these days so the fit is super important. The ASICS I have purchased have all been great. These GT 1000 6 seem a bit tighter in the arch area but I have very narrow feet so it’s ok for me. Some might need to order the wider size. I also need the models geared toward stability so these work well for me.

This or the 2000 are the only shoes I run in! They have great arch support and are not overwhelmingly ridged. I have tried Brooks and Mizuno but the toe boxes seem way too wide for my foot. I hope ASICS keeps this shoe forever and avoids any “remodels.” The structure and fit is perfect as it is!

This isn’t my first pair of black ASICS, I wear them to work. They seemed to run a bit shorter but my regular size still fits comfortably. I wore them all day outcof the box and they were comfortable with adequate arch support for my flat feet. Finally, but equally important to me - they are solid black (except the small grey logo on the back) - just what I wanted.

I love these shoes, especially the fact that I can get a comfortable sneaker in all black, rather than bright colors, making them acceptable for work. Great padding, a little narrow (which I appreciate, some might not.) A little tight across the top of the big toe but plenty of width in the toe box for toes to not be smushed up.

I love these sneakers! I usually wear Nikes, but wasn't able to find a style/color combo I liked, so for the first time, I tried a pair of Asics. I love everything about them. They are extremely comfortable and stylish--they look good with jeans and shorts alike. I took the advice of other reviewers and ordered these in a wide size, and they fit perfectly. Note--I bought these for casual wear, as I'm not a runner, so I can't comment on their performance as a running shoe.

Have worn the ASICS GT series for years. Delighted to find this "old" version which I actually like better than the newer ones (which I also have). Using the "1/2 size up" recommendation seems to work

OK, I haven't walked in them yet, but I have worn Asics/Tigers(as we used to call them) for many, many years. I ordered down a grade to the GT-1000 that I used to wear before going to Nimbus 18 which I liked as well, but since I can't run any more I thought the less expensive pair would be ok since I used to run in them years ago. Only complaint is that my custom orthotics squeaked in the Nimbus and are squeaking some already in the 1000! Drat.

I had to return because of sizing issues. I have the exact same shoe in a different color combination that fits well. I ordered these in and they are too small although they are suppose to be the same size.

I love these shoes. This is the third pair of Asics GT's I've gotten. I do have to take out the insoles and put in my own Vionic inserts. I can walk forever in these, and can also do my pretend-running which is mostly just a walk-jog. Super comfortable.

Great shoe, I have wore them for a few years now. Post total knee replacement they were a great shoe for stability. Also they support an orthotic and your heel doesn’t slip up and down. It appears they aren’t longer making this model and I tried the newer one and do not really think they provide the same level of support. A little disappointed.

Love these shoes! They're very comfortable and support my high arches. I walk and jog in them on pavement everyday and my feet always feel well-supported. I wear a 9 in athletic shoes and these fit true to size all round. They feel high quality and look really good. I got the coral and they look great even just running errands--I get lots of compliments on them! Overall I'm very happy with my Asics and would recommend them!

I am a 10.5B in a regular shoe and this fit well in the 11D - runs narrow. My heel slips a little in these shoes but it was better when I put the laces through the extra eyes on the outer ankle of the shoe. Great stability and cushioning in the forefoot and heel. Can replace cushion insert with your own orthotic. I'm going to keep them and hope they break in nicely to my foot and stop slipping in the heel.
