Asics have always been the only running shoe out there for me, and have only worn Asics running shoes for years, but typically wear a different style. I thought I would purchase an alternate pair of inexpensive running shoes for short distance runs, so I wasn't going thru so many pair of shoes. Unfortunately, even wearing these to walk in to run errands hurts my feet. They do not fit my feet correctly. The heel of the shoe rubs at the side of my ankles. The shoes themselves feel like wearing a flat pair of sandals with no support at all, and it's like my feet are in a piece of stiff cardboard. I guess it is a get what you pay for thing, and will stick with my Kayanos

GT 1000 were too small! I am a fan of Gt1000 I have been wearing them for a few years. Loved the color but my feet were hurting squeezed into these shoes. TOO TIGHT AND TOO NARROW!!! Sent them back yesterday. I don't have foot issues. I am a normal size 7. Very disappointed

Very odd fit. I should have paid attention to the other reviews that described the problems with this shoe. This shoe has a tight fit in the mid and front section with a wide heel section. Very disappointed. I recommend not to purchase.

I really was excited when I opened the box, the color was great! However, the sneaker runs very small, narrow and tight. Plus it has a very hard feel, it will take some time to break this shoe in!

I have worn ASICS GT 1000 trainers (or the ASICS equivalent) for years. Bought these and had to return them as they were far too tight despite even trying half a size bigger than I would normally wear. I was really disappointed as I used to love these trainers!

I read reviews saying this shoe was different/narrower than prior versions. I thought, no problem as I don't have a wide foot. Wrong. Toe box is much more narrow than my last 6 pairs of this model. Returning them tomorrow then shopping for a new favorite shoe. Bummed.

I got the wide because the medium fit tight. When I received the wide I was excited cause I like the shoe, but the wide fit exactly like the medium. So, I had to return them. Disappointed.

I bought this pair of shoes only a couple months ago and it's already starting to get a hole in the toes. It sucks because I have never had a problem with any of the other Asics shoes I have purchased.

While I was happy with the wide width, unfortunately these do not have enough support for walking and running for me. I've been having horrible back, hip and knee pain thanks to them.

Worn Asics for years, and had always liked them. Before ordering, i read other reviews about newer models running smaller, so I ordered 1/2 size larger and also wide width. Just got the Gt1000 today and the toe box is sooo small, narrow and short! And agree with others that not as much cushion. Guess I'll also have to change brands.

They were uncomfortable, hurt my feet & no padding in foot bed
