Having wide, long, and flat feet, it's always been a challenge to find comfortable shoes. ASICS has always been the brand that fits me best. I've ordered a couple pairs of shoes in the past that have worked out well. I needed a new pair, and decided to go with this model. I ordered the wide width, and the shoes were extremely narrow on me. It didn't take more than a few hours of wearing them before my feet started hurting. I've always ordered wide widths from ASICS and have never had problems Until this shoe. Unfortunately, I do not recommend this shoe model for anyone with wide feet

My current running shoes are the gel kayano -22 model. I figured the -24 couldn't be that different, must be even better, right? Nope. They changed the heel and ankle support. I am returning and ordering the -22 elsewhere. I love asics, so I am happy to buy the same model as in past, but if you are going for a change, recommend trying in store and not ordering online.

Still a customer that loves your shoes, I ordered a different color style. I recommend Asics work with their vendor because I know there is demand for ALL BLACK (Carbon/Black) Keyano 24's!

As someone with a narrow long foot, I have purchased ASICS narrow for years. They literally fit like a glove - nestling my arch perfectly. The Kayona 24 has the same wonderful narrow fit but unfortunately lacks that comfortable arch support. I could not feel it and knew it would mean pain from lack of arch support so I reluctantly returned them. Please bring back that feature.

I have worn ASICS gel in 9 1/2 narrow for years with perfect fit and support. The arch support would softly wrap my foot and could be felt immediately - even before lacing. Just received a new Kayona 24 and was shocked at the poor interior support. I cannot feel it even when weight bearing. Please bring back the supportive design. This pair is being returned. To pay this price and have to add an arch support would be absurd.

I have always worn these and yet these do not compare to the previous Kaynao 23. They are not as supported nor as comfortable. The inner sole is second rate compared to all of the others I have had. It is not as cushiony.

Asics used to be my go-to shoe. With this last pair I'm convinced that they have lost sight of what the term "wide" actually means. These shoes were unbearably tight in the toe box area. I will be moving on to other brands.

Beautiful shoe for about 15 minutes into my workout when the sole split open. I wore them once. Sad quality for the price. Returned.

I already have the black colored one and it is very comfortable, so I ordered the blue one, which looked prettier, but you canceled my order, I wish I could buy this shoes.

I bought thes 2 years ago in black they were great the first year but then theybstarted ripping in the tie area. I don't know if it's the fabric or what as I have worn the gel Kayano for a long time. Been trying to find black in my size for over a year but they don't make them in 5.5. Only colors:(. Wish they would make more black!

Bought these 6 months ago, and they had to be demoted to dog walking almost immediately. Totally lacking the great arch support Kayanos traditionally have had. Not sure if it's the narrower toe box or the knitted upper with the printed-on stripes, but not at all up to Asics's usual standards. A waste of money.

I bought these shoes a month ago. One of the shoes scraped the skin off of my right ankle every time I wore them.

I've purchased the Gel Kayano's since being diagnosed with plantar fasciitis 4 years ago (podiatrist recommended these or Brooks). I bought at least 2 pair Gel Kayano per year each year. After reading bad reviews on the 23s, I merely purchased more 22s to hold me over. I cant find any more 22s so thought I would try the 24s & I'm pretty disappointed. The comfort is just not there & they're making my feet tingle feel like I'm walking on needles. Went back to my old 22s & my feet are fine. Sadly, this will be my last Asics purchase. Why did they have to try to "fix" something that wasnt broken? Very sad to say bye to Asics

I bought these about a week ago. I've worn Gel-Kayano's since 2008. They've always been great and I always fussed at myself for not purchasing new shoes ever. These are probably the worst shoe I've ever worn. After wearing them for an hour, my feet were KILLING me! There's no support and it feels like I'm walking on hard bricks. The top of the shoe hurts also.

I was so excited to buy another pair of Asics as my last two pair of 21's had finally worn out. Much to my dismay, I bought a pair that felt great in the store, but when I wore them to work they hurt my feet. I thought perhaps I just needed to break them in, but with the new hard toe they are not budging. Wish I had realized this before spending so much money on something I am going to have to give away.

Little to no cushion in these shoes .... don't waste your money. Not up to past Asics brand quality....They feel stiff when you put them on and get worse from there. You just know they have to be great because they're ASICS right ? WRONG !! Not anymore ....someone's dropped the ball over there

Just ordered two pairs of the Gel Kayano 24 hoping the "improved fit" was actually improved. I have been wearing Gel-Kayano's since the 16 and have loved them. They have provided exceptional support for my feet and knees during my long 12+ hour work days where I am on my feet all day. I ordered a 1/2 size larger than my normal size due to reviews. Shoe was extremely tight through the toe box. My toes were almost to the end of the shoe despite the increase in shoe size. Changed out my socks to a thinner running sock and still experienced terrible pain through the toes. Without even taking a step my feet were hurting. Verified that I wasn't sent the narrow shoe by mistake. No such luck. Shoe depth seems to be less than previous models, plus the reduction in toe box size, which could be why there was so much pressure through my toes. I am beyond disappointed and will have to return these shoes. On a positive the color options are great however, that does no good if you can't stand to wear them. Please return the toe box to the width of the previous models.
