I love these sandals. I originally tried these because they make them in the city I live in and I see all the little old ladies walking around in them and I was DESPERATE for some comfort because I'm always standing. Well, I am in my early 30s and they do not look like granny sandals once you put them on your foot! I am a hairstylist and I stand on my feet for 8+ hours in them with no problem. I also have plantar fasciitis and they provide me enough support to keep the pain away. I also have bunions and of course no problem here. I'm also overweight and these and cushioned enough to where my feet aren't hurting at the end of the day. I bought these in black snake and the red.

I recently had to visit my podiatrist and told that I needed to wear shoes with lots of ball of foot padding and an arch support because I am having issues in these areas. However, I that I also want r to wear "pretty and stylish" type shoes. I also have a "skinny" foot so I have an awful time finding good supportive sandals because the straps are usually too loose and I walk out of the shoe. I LOVE these SAS sandals! They are adjustable but they fit me right out of the box; they are so comfortable and walking a lot did not cause me any foot pain. I also have some loafer type SAS shoes and they are wonderful too; definitely worth the bucks$$$ The only thing I wish is that SAS or someone else would give us more options for dressier shoes that would have the same kind of comfort that the casual shoes do.

I don't write many reviews, but I must about this sandal. It is by far the most comfortable, soft and supportive sandal I've ever purchased. And it's super cute! I must admit it cost more than I usually spend for a sandal, but just slipping them on and I was hooked. I bought the Oro color, a champagne metallic, and it's such a pretty neutral. It wasn't my first choice, but I'm glad they were out of the tan color. I wear it with skirts, jeans, shorts, or anything. I'm a teacher and on my feet most of the day. My feet were so happy, even during a heat wave in the building (when my feet tend to swell.) I'm looking forward to buying another pair next year. The quality is excellent and they are made in America! I love that! I'm going to keep an eye on SAS and hope they keep making some shoes for women who are into comfort and style!

Wow, this is the Holy Grail of comfort sandals. Like walking on a lamb's ear. The footbed is so SOFT but also very supportive. The slight platform is really nice and they are dressier than Birkenstocks. I got the Nero Snake and it is suede and the pattern is very subtle. I am a size ten and the ten just fits. I did have to return the first pair because the toe post leather had a small pointed area where the leather was cut slightly uneven, which rubbed. Zappos sent the new pair immediately, even before I returned the damaged ones. These shoes are worth the money.

Love the shoe but the width is true to size and I need the wide. SAS is the only shoe I can wear and they are well worth the money.

Excellent! This is my 4th pair of these sandals. I live in them all summer! So comfortable I could walk 5 miles in them no problem. I have terrible issues with shoes and these never give me any trouble. I have slightly narrow feet and these work fine. They are adjustable with the buckle which helps me a lot.

This is my third pair of Sanibels and I am very happy that Zappos now carries them in so many colors. These sandals have a padded footbed and I feel very stable walking in them. Even though my foot is on the narrow side I can tighten the buckle across the instep to make them fit well. And they don't hurt in between the toe! I also like that I can wear them with all kinds of clothing. I would highly recommend these sandals - aside from their comfort the sandals are very good quality and last for years. I bought my original pair about 5 years ago and still wear them.

Perfect fit. I gave several pairs in different colors. I broke my left foot and have a hard time finding something comfortable and I can wear these all day. Even at Disneyland where I am walking all day. Love love love them.

I enjoyed this sandal very much. I just bought my second pair. I have worn these shoes everywhere and almost through my second summer. However, I do not live in a warm climate, so it is only during the summer that I wear these. The "thong" started to stretch between the toes and even after adjusting the buckle in both places, I think it's just time for a new pair. I hope that I can return to the original comfort with this new pair. It's like a hot bath for achy muscles. AHHHH.

Love the sandals for comfort and style but sorry they were not available in wide width. Tolerable but wide would have been a better fit.

The fit and confort was ok. The only problem is that The are too heavy and they get stuck, don't spin and make you fall. I Just fell tonight because of this heavy and expensive sandals. So be aware when you want to turn around, you may fall.

WOW! I knew SAS made good shoes, but it had been a while. I ordered these in a 9.5 in Oro, and will be able to fancy these up just a bit due to the color choice. I bought them for an upcoming cruise where I will be doing quite a bit of walking. My foot is wider than normal in the front, and these fit perfectly! My foot isn't wide enough to ever wear wide width, but often I don't fit well into medium width shoes (lots of trial and error, usually). These accommodate my wider foot very well (so I imagine they could be a little too wide for narrower feet). But the COMFORT! Just wow. Everything felt fantastic -- not even one spot that wasn't quite right. I love how they are adjustable everywhere I needed them to be (and I did adjust both straps on each shoe). What a great idea. The ONLY thing I am concerned about is that I want them to be my "everything" shoes for this cruise, and for this price, I won't really want them to get wet. Not sure these will be right for a cruise. I also have high arches, and these support them nicely. (No empty feeling under the middles of my feet.) I also ordered the Mephisto Helen sandals (size 9) -- they were cute, but were not wide enough (toes hung off the edges), although they were long enough. Also tried the Alegria Carina in this order (size 40)-- they weren't quite large enough overall, and were very bulky and unattractive compared to these.

Winner winner, chicken dinner!! I bought these sandals before a trip with a lot of walking. I have plantar fasciitis so I'm always on the look out for a supportive shoe. Once I got these I pretty much did not take them off. They are extremely comfortable, I put miles and miles on them without any problems like annoying rubbing etc, the footbed has a lovely soft texture, and with the buckles you can adjust the fit on the front, which is rather unique! I saw one reviewer say they were heavy, and they're... not. I mean, if you're used to foam flips, then I suppose they are, but these are just like any other sandal of substance. I will definitely be buying from this company again. This shoe is stylish, well made, and I had NO foot pain at all. And they're MADE IN THE USA. Which is such a rarity. Fan for life, seriously.

I generally wear a size 9 and SAS 9 is perfect. Style and quality great. I am over 65 and am very particular and insist on comfort and this brand and style were perfect.

These sandals are so comfy and attractive. !The arch is perfect. I have these in 3 colors!

Two things I like best about these shoes are the ability to adjust the height of the toe strap and they don’t make my feet sweat. Comfortable, nice quality shoe.

The fit was perfect and was true to size. The sole is very soft and comfortable with a good arch support.

Fit perfectly. Sole is extremely soft to the touch. Gives support and comfort while more fashionable than most comfortable sandals.

This is my third pair of the SAS Sanibel sandal! It is one of the few sandals that my podiatrist will let me wear and it is soooo comfortable. I only wish that it came in a plain white leather for summer. I really don't care for all the snakeskin designs.

These shoes couldn’t be more perfect. SAS shoes are really comfortable, very stylish and I absolutely love them!
