I normally wear a wide and the Sanibel fit even though it's a medium. I do wish these actually came in a wide as ideally I'd like a bit more leeway in the width but I have such trouble finding anything that fits that these worked. I don't have any foot issues other then getting shoes that are wide enough so my rating on arch support is subjective as that's not a major concern for me. I actually went to the local SAS store and got measured and tried the Marina which is basically the Sanibel with an ankle strap as it comes in a wide however the ankle strap wasn't long enough, epic fail to make a short adjustable ankle strap on a wide shoe, and to be honest the footbed didn't feel that much wider than the Sanibel. The store clerk wouldn't let me try the Sanibel as she said the medium wouldn't work. Hence I ordered from Zappos. The Sanibel are very comfortable. This is my first pair of SAS. I was surprised how comfortable the foot bed is even though SAS is known for comfort. SAS's styling in the past has been less than exciting but I like the look of the Sanibel. I tried the Birkenstock Gizeh but the Birkenstock footbed hurts my feet. I ordered 2 pair of the Sanibel. The Shiny Silver and Silver Blue are so pretty. The Silver Blue looks so good with jeans.

The footbed is soft and this sandal has comfortable arch support. I've tried other support sandals and they are usually uncomfortable and hard. I own 3 pair of these. Expensive but to me worth it.

I love all my SAS sandals, but love the Sanibel best. The support and comfort is outstanding!

I have done a LOT of research into sandals that won’t make my feet hurt. I’m on my feet all day long everyday and I read the reviews on the SAS sandal and decided to give it a shot... took these on my cruise vacation and never wore them in. No need! They were comfortable from day 1!! So ecstatic. My feet never felt tired or hurt one bit. I can’t wait to order these on different colors... they are my go to for this summer! No doubt!!

I am in LOVE!!! These sandals are like walking on a cloud. The footbed is both supportive and soft. Walked all over Disney World with no problems. I would highly recommend them, you won't be sorry.

I damaged my plantar plate and my dr. told me that I can't wear thin soled shoes any more. I wanted a comfy sandal that was stylish and didn't look orthopedic and these fit the bill. I only gave 4 stars because I'm still struggling with having to wear a thick soled sandal; they're cute but not as cute a the thins ones I'm used to. They are very comfortable and provide good support for my plantar plate and even though I don't have arch problems, these shoes do have good arch support. I usually wear an 8 and had to get an 8 1/2 in these.

The caramel leather is gorgeous; I think this sandal is among the most attractive of the SAS line. But despite having a little buckle that toe piece isn't adjustable, and I found it not quite high enough for my foot. The piece of leather on top of the toe piece rubbed my toes.

Really nice shoe, well made. Unfortunately, even with the buckle I couldn't adjust it to fit properly. If it did fit, I would have rated 5 stars.

I tried these because my birkenstock staple t-strap sandal is no longer feeling comfortable. These did not work at all because they feel loose and don't hold my foot, sizing down wouldn't solve the problem. returning.

I kept this pair of shoes trying to get them to be comfortable. The buckle on the toe area is annoying, it rubs and can't really figure out how to get that issue fixed. Otherwise they are comfortable enough i would like them. waited too long to send back . expensive mistake.

Loved the sandal but unable to find comfort with the thong. So sorry to have to return these beautiful sandals.

These are supposed to be adjustable. The side buckle near the ankle was easy to adjust. However, the toe buckle was near impossible to undo to adjust. I spent about 10 minutes trying to unbuckle the toe straps. Once on, my bunions hung over the sides of the shoes, cutting into the bottoms of my feet. I looked in the mirror and it was a definite no. These beautiful sandals look hideous on my feet.

This is a great shoe by SAS, but the color was a little brighter than I hoped. It is definitely a fun shoe color, but chose a different option.

Changing from a German brand that has started to hurt my feet to SAS that I have worn off and on for years. The Sanibel has a good wide foot area of toes and upper foot with medium width providing good space and support. This is a new style for me from SAS so will see how it goes! Hope that I have found a new thong style shoe that I can wear without pain and with support.

Extremely comfortable. Can wear all day. Great arch support.
