My favorite of 3 pairs of SAS shoes but not perfect. It's no shoe for wetness because of the porous mesh across the top. Not a defect but the buyer should consider. Also the first of many SAS I've owned to develop a structural "failure". Right above the left big toe first 1 stitch let go but then a small hole developed in the mesh right below the stitch. Maybe it's my toenail but hasn't happened to older styles of SAS. Also, much easier to keep all leather models looking great. They are several years old.

For a comparison to the iconic New Balance 990 series running shoe model, I purchased the grey suede-nylon SAS Journey athletic styled shoe. For length fitting the two brands are about equal. My shoe size width is B, and the SA model B width is a bit more narrow fitting (at the ball of the foot), than the New Balance 990 shoe model. For comfort and stability, the SAS Journey has more of a rigid walking shoe sole compared to the relatively flexible out sole running shoe design of the New Balance 990. In summary, if you have worn the New Balance 990 series running shoe, but might like to try a bit heavier duty, more rigid bottom walking style shoe, the SAS Journey may fit your needs.

I have a very narrow foot so the slim version of this shoe is my go to item. I have purchased at least four of the SAS Journey Mesh. I plan to return this order as the stitching over the toe has come undone. I will order another pair and hope for better stitching.

The fit was fine. In the photo they look somewhat stylish but in reality they are grandpa shoes.

I wear a 13 1/2 narrow. This was more like a medium. Am returning them.

None. Hard to find a 13 1/2 Narrow.

The shoe looked nice and sturdy but on the stiff side. Not suitable for my bones!

This product fits great and is very comfortable. The lace eyelets break very easily.

I normally wear men's size 11 but the SAS was much larger than, for example, Mizuno which fits fine in size 11. The SAS shoe also felt much heavier - weighs more I guess. Had to send them back.

Don't know if these would work in a different size. Usually trust Zappos recommend size. This time they really missed the mark. Could barely get them on they were so small and I usually order a size larger, but each time I looked at them they put in the smaller size.

Tried the size 14, my normal size, but it was too big and the13-1/2 was too small. Plus there was some sort of animal fur inside the shoes and the soles were dirty.

I have several pairs of San Antonio shoes, which I like very much, but I am disappointed in these. They are very comfortable, which I expected, but the sole is stiff and heavy, which I didn't expect. I had hoped to use them for jogging, but the sole make them unsuitable for that. I will use them as casual everyday shoes.

I have been wearing a pair of these for over a year and love them. I bought another pair in the same size but the new ones are bigger than the old ones. I thought your sizes were standardized. This was my first pair I ordered online in a very long time and the size difference made me wary of buying your shoes online again. Also, I don't know how to clean the mesh sneakers when they get dirty.

I was unable to wear this shoe because it was so big. I'm wondering if it was mismarked. I really liked the looks of it though and may reorder.

Size was right on but the width when you tied the shoe as tight as you can still had so much loose shoe in the arch area, material could be folded over..

Wanted to try something other than Tour Mesh (my favorite). I found the journey too stiff for me. There are no SAS locations anywhere near me, so I had to use this opportunity to "try on". Sorry to return them.

I've worn a size 13 Wide mens with New Balance classic shoes for a long time. Wanted to try out the SAS Journey Mesh instead (ordered a 13 Wide mens). When they arrived, I put them on and they were huge on me. I definitely would go with a 12.5 normal width. So, I'd say these run a little big compared to standard sizes (again, comparing "solely" again New Balance since that's the only shoe I've really worn for every day use in a long time). Otherwise, they seem like decent shoes, but that's just from holding them in my hands.

Gave me Achilles tendonitis. I bought these after research on best walking shoes for older adults. I also got the wide to accommodate my Morten's neuroma. They felt great on and seemed to be high quality in the build. But I consistently developed tendonitis from moderate walks. This went away when I switched back to my slip-ins. I wish buying sneakers wasn't an expensive guessing game.

The inner foot bed is not good made very cheap. Provides no support. When you pay over $200 for a pair of shoes you expect a high quality built shoe. I have purchased SAS shoes for years but I will no longer buy another pair.

I am being treated for male pelvic pain in the past six months and there's a hurdle to overcome involving the design of the heel in these tennis shoes. There's a significant "ledge" between the heel and the rest of the foot pushing my entire carriage forward and putting too much emphasis on the knees. I even had some thinner insoles my size laying around and they didn't change things significantly. These shoes are well made. I'm sorry but no.
