Can't believe what a difference a good pair of shoes can make. I've never spent more 30 or 40 bucks on shoes. But this pair really changed things for me. The support and comfort are a world of difference. I now own 3 pair and won't go back.

Great fit and very well built shoe! Replaced my New Balances with this and am very happy!
Love the ease of lacing and the ability to snug them down easily. Just learned of SAS and will be buying more!

These SAS JOURNEY MESH are comparable to or even better quality than NEW BALANCE. I have bought 3 pair of NEW BALANCE so far and 1 pair wore out seemingly too quickly, 1 pair had to have the tongue sewn back in & the last pair have held up the best of the 3.
The SAS are still relatively new & time will tell about their ability to last but they seem like very good shoes for the price so far. I am now considering buying another pair of a different color but the same style.

I now own three pairs of Men's Journey Mesh Gray shoes, each bought in successive years. They are so comfortable that I will never again wear another shoe. They hold up extremely well, so well, in fact, that I have written the purchase year with a Sharpie on the tongues so that I can tell them apart. My only problem has been with the middle pair - the laces have "sawn" through the plastic eyes of the top lace holes, and one of the lace hooks has torn loose. In spite of this one problem, these are the best made and most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. (I also have a pair of Men's Journey Black and a pair of Men's Time Out.)

I purchased these for my son and he was really happy with this style of SAS shoes. They are made in America which is important to us but beside that they are well made and a very good looking shoe.
I'd also recommend:

I had foot surgery over a year now. I have a four pairs of shoes that I have bought and can not wear, and many more that I tried on. I now have a pair of these and I am happy to say they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I was not doing some of the things I enjoy because the shoes I had were not comfortable and would hurt my feet after wearing them for awhile. I hope you continue to make this model. I will be looking at dress shoes and deck shoes.
Thanks,
Karl

I have owned five pairs of Journey Mesh Lace Up Sneakers. I have a narrow foot and the slim size works for me. I replace them once per year due to the walking mileage I put on them. They have always been comfortable from new to old. However, the stitching on the toe leather broke and unraveled on both shoes of my last pair. SAS would not work with me because I did not buy them directly from SAS. I did purchase my new pair directly from SAS and hope they will stand behind the shoe if I have the same problem.

Only reason rating isn't 5 stars is the price a little high. But given the comfort and quality these shoes are probably worth it.

Very nice looking shoe. I wish it were all leather. Love that it came in slim sizes. I wish it had more depth for my orthotics. It has depth, but I wish it had a tad bit more.

Nice shoe. If only 1/4" longer. Have to settle for 13.5. I have an odd foot size, difficult to get right fit.

Thank you for your email. I have a couple of questions.
1. Why can I never find a coupon code? Or a discount code?
2. I appreciate the fact you have narrow wide shoes in size 13.5 but not in all styles...will that change?
Thank you
Jack

After exchanging a narrow width for a slim one, I am still unsure about the fit. Overall the shoe feels a little big for me although I have wore a size 12 in every shoe I have ever worn. Also, arch support seems too far back and not quite prominent enough for my foot. So, I am now experimenting with inserts to fill the shoe was well as address the arch support issue. I may have to revert to custom orthotics if over-the counter-options don't work. I guess I'll have to continue investing more money into these shoes to find an acceptable comfort level. I'm in too deep already. Yikes!

For the price, I expected more arch support and cushioning. It would be great if SAS could send a heftier, cushioned insole.

The length and toe box was a perfect fit. The issue was with the heel area. I felt like my foot kept sliding up and down in the heel.
Also did not care for the suede like finish of the leather.
These shoes are really well constructed. Had they fit to a “tee” I know I would have gotten years of use with them.
Thanks

It is difficult for me to review or rate this shoe at this time. I have multiple issues with my feet. They measure a size 8 with a 6E width and I have a high instep. I have Rheumatoid arthritis, I was diagnosed 1995 it affects my ankles and feet the most, and diabetes since 2007. I also suffer from neuropathy with numbness and pain in my left foot. I have been wearing SAS Time Out size 8 triple wide for 12 years or more. I wanted to get into a tennis shoe and found this pair in a triple wide. So far I have only tried these shoes on and briefly walked around the house. I am keeping them. I feel like they will take a little bit of time to adjust to how they feel and break them in. The length and width is perfect. They do not seem to have the same depth as the SAS Time Out the shoe that I've been wearing. I can make this comparison because I also bought a brand new pair of Time Out's. I believe these tennis shoes will be fine, I just need a little time with them.

I've tried other brands. SAS seems to suit me best

m husband had an accident to his feet and didn't take care of broken bones until too late. Toes misaligned. These SAS, thanks to your agents suggesting them, are best we can get-favorite Eccos have too narrow toes since the accident. This is only sneaker that seems to allow him to walk. We have an expensive orthodic too and the man who makes them said SAS is the best sneaker that you can buy. Last made in USA.>

I primarily use it for walking 10,000 steps per day and for exercising. One thing I notice is that they have stopped putting in the shoe box an extra set of laces, which used to be a very helpful item.

A few years ago I bought my first pair and was so impressed, I bought a second pair in a different color about a month later. Recently I bought a third color, Nova. These shoes are really comfortable and offer superior support over the foam and mesh junk so common out there these days. They look great too, even my opinionated 26 year old daughter doesn't criticize them like she did my New Balances. I gave only four stars because SAS stopped tacking the tongue to one side of each shoe which prevented the tongue from sliding to one side.
