These are very comfortable and well made walking shoes. This is my second pair of Journey Lace Up Sneakers, after I wore out my first pair after many years of daily walking. The only thing that I don't like is the fact that the toungs do not stay it place but slide to the side. Some brands of walking shoes have a little loop on the toung that you pass the laces through where you cross them. This holds the toungs in place. I would given them 5 stars if SAS would incorporated this in their shoes.

I walk 2.5 miles 3 times a week. I wish the insole was thicker with a more stable heel cup. I have to add sport inserts for low arches. They could use a bit more ventilation.

the only complaint I have is I order a 8.5 and I was sent a size 8? I am going to see how they feel, otherwise they will be going back.

Great shoes! But getting them is difficult. My fav store closed, the next does not feel need to stock wide mens shoes. Thought ordering online was good idea, however the SAS shipping department decided they needed to "fix" my address and Fedex could not deliver them. Called SAS after first delivery attempt and they said it would work eventually? Thank God Fedex called me and the great lady there got my real address on the package. Shoes 5 stars, SAS shipping department 1 star and Fedex customer service 6 stars.

This is a really nice sneaker, with a rounded toe box that I thought would be great for my wide-ish foot. Unfortunately, the height of the toe box isn’t sufficient for my big toe, which presses a little bit onto the top of the inside of the sneaker. I will be returning them.

I got fitted for a size 12 wide, my first pair. The shoes are comfortable but they're heavier than other brands I've owned. Didn't notice the shoe weight walking around the store but do on my walks. Hopefully I'll get used to it.

My third pair, and it seems lighter and cheaper than the earlier shoes. Seems like a loss in quality. Leather almost seems like plastic.

I am a woman, who was gifted with huge feet (11 triple wide) because of foot deformities could not find a comfortable pair of women's shoes. I resorted to buying these Journeys and have not regretted it except for two issues:
1. Mushy insoles
Every 3-4 years I buy a pair of white Journeys and I have a pair of black, which have lasted me the same length of time. The white pair have mushy feel to them. I buy new insoles, but, it only fixes the problem for a few months.
2. Scuff easily:
The white pair scuff very easily. The black pair are very supportive and also scuff easily, but, black shoe polish fixes that problem. The insoles have kept their supportive feel and overall these shoes look pretty much like they are a year old, not 3-4. I have decided that I had had enough with scuffed shoes that were only 3 months old. I resorted to painting the white shoes with semi gloss acrylic paint and they look great! It's a shame that I had to resort to this, though.

I ordered these for my husband, who wears size 13 EEE in dress shoes. It is difficult to find well-fitting sneakers in his size. He has been wearing Asics Gel Kayanos in 14 - 4E, and he likes them a lot. However, Asics has his size now only in white.
So, we ordered these - he likes the all black leather look. His feet are large, but these made them look like clown feet- they are very large and clunky looking. He also said they were uncomfortable. Even more than that, each shoe weighs 1 lb.! That would have been very hard on his back after a day wearing them. We also ordered a pair of the Journey Mesh in blue - but the issues were the same. We returned both pairs. Thank you Zappos for making this so easy. I never buy shoes in any other place.

Really liked this shoe at first. Like the fact it is made in USA so was willing to pay $200 for a pair. 6 months in and the sole is coming off. Cannot recommend this shoe! Who do I contact to send these back?

I am 71 years old, I have been wearing SAS shoes for over thirty years, several models. When I saw the Journey II I instantly became nervous. I've seen my fair share of "new and improved" over the years. I couldn't find a pair in my size, SAS sent me the new Journey II. I received them in January '21 to replace my old Journey received January 2017. The new shoe has been a failure in every regard. In fact, hurt my feet. Contact with SAS is "too bad." This morning I pulled a pair of ten year old Time Out shoes out of the box. Rarely worn, dress casual. Pulled the insole out and saw that it is a far superior product to what was installed in my shoes, and I bought an extra pair because they are the cat's meow, right? Wrong. The footbed, the insole and my feet are ruined. I put on the ten year old Time Out's and I have no pain. I live in Ecuador, the shoes, insoles and shipped cost me $330. I only justify the expense by the time they last. Less than 8 months and these are headed for the trash. They will not even be rotated to yard shoes, the 4 1/2 year old shoes that look like crap and have the original insoles, are more comfortable. Another example of having a good product, one of SAS best sellers, and trashing it for 2% higher profit. Never again.
I'd also recommend:
Red Wing work boots. Nike Monarchs are more comfortable, they quack, cheaper.
