I bought these boots in November, 2019. I think I've worn them almost every day since. They are super comfortable. Slip on boots don't generally fit me very well so I decided to try these little lace-ups. They are perfect. I will definitely buy another pair when needed.

The shoe is roomy and I would wear 2 pair socks with it. I am wearing them as street shoes, as well as for up-hill walks, so they are duel purpose. They keep you warm, which is an added benefit.

I always buy my boots a size larger because they are always too small. Surprisingly this is the first boot that was too large for me. I have wide feet but this boot was too wide to the point of flopping as I walked. Even though it was so wide it still managed to rub the bunion on my left foot and that is my smaller foot. My larger foot was just lost in the boot. If I did not have this bunion I would have re-ordered a size smaller and I still might. I like the style.

I'm a nurse and have been struggling to find a shoe that doesn't hurt my feet. Since my purchase, my plantar fasciitis is way better! The only problem I have is the laces tend to loosen, but I don't mind because my feet are comfortable! Wish it came in white too so I can use it with my white pants.

Very comfortable, as with all SAS shoes they will last and look good through much wear and tear. Use a good quality leather conditioning polish.

These shoes feel very supportive and well made. I have worn SAS shoes previously. I have very sensitive feet, so I need supportive shoes. I am still breaking in these shoes in.

At first I thought they looked a little institutional, like I should be hosing down racks in a walk in refrigerator. But after awhile they relaxed and broke in.....and I stopped wearing socks...which made them even more cool looking....They're my go to walking shoe...I have sas sandals but if I have a big hill to climb or a long mall to walk.....I reach for these....wouldn't mind them in other colors, even distressed leather....and maybe a bit higher around the ankle.....all the comfort and looking cool too....winning ticket....

I liked everything about this shoe, except for the width across my toes. Doesn't work with a bunion.

These seemed a good shoe for winter. They’re nicer looking than i expected and well made. Unfortunately they weren’t deep enough to accommodate my custom orthotics. I can’t speak to comfort because I couldn’t get my foot inside. I can’t wear shoes without my orthotics so I have to return them.

Gives more support than the regular lace up shoes, but I WISH SAS would carry this in dark brown!

I always wear an 8.5 WW is SAS shoes, but these were huge! The toe had almost 2” of extra space, rather clownish. Sadly, had to return.

I am not unhappy with these boots at all. I gave them four stars because my left foot is entirely comfortable and my right foot is not. My right foot has pressure over the top across the widest width of my foot. I did not return them because I expect them to stretch in the fullness of time and become comfortable. I have also found that when my feet are not stressed, I have heel problems with plantar faciitis, they feel better. I am happy with these boots being non slip and winter friendly. All and all, I would say that I am a natural 8 and usually order an 8.5 for width but I might have tried a 9 with these. As I wear them my foot sinks down into them and they are both comfortable (unless my foot is already stressed).

I had to return them because it was" too much of a shoe" it felt it did not allow my feet to move as I walked. If you need total support I suppose this would be a good shoe, Leather very stiff. However the show was wide enough, I take a 5 1/2 and have trouble finding shoes in that size that are wide enough especially in winter with heavy socks,

More. W instead of WW but historically your shoes have molded/stretched. They could come up higher. The height is awkward. The eyelets/laces stop short of the top. Feels like my foot is coming out of shoe. Has anyone had a shoemaker modify by adding an eyelet to tie shoe at the ankle. Needs another for sure. Ran big. Needed a 1/2 so smaller and still toe room.

I am afraid that the shape is a strangely awkward for me - I do not have massive ankles, and there was something about the design that didn't work for me.

I am searching for a good walking shoe that is wide enough to comfortably fit my toes/ knuckle area as i have arthritis and bunions. This shoe is cuter than some of the offerings out there, but it is not wide enough and my small toe is pressed against the side. Back to Zappos it goes...

These shoes fit very well, but the top hit my ankle and rubbed uncomfortably, even with heavy socks. I wanted to love them, but couldn’t! I had to send them back.

Don't purchase these shoes. The back where your heel touches the back of the boot completely wears off. I have to wear bandages. Very poor craftsmanship where your heel touches the back of your foot, definitely wouldn't purchase again. I emailed them and they said to send in boots but nothing is guaranteed.

I bought these boots in 2002. These are the best boots ever for comfort and the non-slip really works for shoveling snow and everyday errands. They are pretty worn out. Time to buy a new pair in 2026.

Love the boots. I love that SAS offers a wide range of sizes, including my size 11 1/2 narrow. These boots fit great, maybe even have extra room for thick wool socks. Plus they are high quality and non-skid. I'm grateful!
