These are wonderful with a couple of small caveats. As you can see from the pictures I’ve taken, these shoes are shaped like feet! They don’t force your toes into a point the way most women’s shoes do. Women don’t have pointy feet! Why do we have shoes that force our feet into this position? That’s what gives us bunions. It ticks me off. Some people won’t like these shoes because of that. They don’t exactly have a dainty look. More of a biblical desert look (at least in chocolate color). I like that. The material of the foot bed feels sooooo soft and comfortable! The soles are very, very cushioned. It’s like walking on a cloud! The leather straps are top-quality. If they bother you anywhere, I wouldn’t worry – this is good quality leather that will give. The toe strap did not bother me, as it did some others. And I think it looks super cool. I usually wear an 8 1/2 W. I had to order an 8W in these. They run a little long. Also, the wide width is truly wide, so if you don’t need wide width, I would imagine the medium width is a little wider than regular medium widths are... probably not a style for truly narrow feet. Like many people with wide feet, my foot is only wide at the joints where the toes meet the foot. My foot is not large in volume over all, and my ankles are not wide. So, as you can see from my picture, I can actually fit my whole finger in between my Achilles tendon and the backstrap of the sandal. This is a relatively minor disappointment, as the toe strap and the strap going across the top of the ankle hold the sandal on well enough that I don’t think the backstrap by the Achilles tendon will bother me. I do wish it were as easy to get shoes tailored as it is to get pants hemmed! My mom has loved SAS shoes for years. I am incredibly delighted that they are making them cuter, and I look forward to buying more from this quality shoe maker who cares about women’s feet.

This is my second pair of SAS PAMPAS in the Fantasia pattern. I bought the first pair in 2015 before a trip to Prague and Budapest. I wore them RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX, for 5-8 miles a day over cobblestones with zero problems. 3 years later, they are looking a little beat, but still comfy. I still wear them doing yard work, etc. but bought some new ones when I want to look tres chic! I’m a slightly vain 59 year old who needs support AND comfort, but loves shoes with style too. SAS is finally making shoes that someone other than 80 year old nuns want to wear! Check out the patina on my 3 year old, well loved pampas, along side my new ones!

Comfortable right out of the box! I am currently 5 months pregnant, and needed a pair of sandals that provided excellent support and comfort, while also looked professional enough for work and cute enough for warm days and dresses... and this is it! I am usually a size 6-6.5, and went i’m with a 6, perfect fit! I’ve also purchased a few SAS shoes for my parents in the past that they have worn for years. I am so happy to see more ‘young’ styles!

Labored over decision to pay this much for a pair of sandals - but after returning 3 pairs for various reasons (mainly to do with my megawide foot) I decided to pay more and hope the comfort hype for SAS was true...and it was. Walked 5 miles the first day I had them and they were great. Some of the SAS look a little 'old ladyish' but these looked a little more stylish.I do like them and I am hoping they with be part of my travel uniform on an upcoming trip to Europe.

I walk a lot—upwards of 20,000 steps a day at work on varied terrain (carpet, hard floors, grass, wet grass, stairs, sand, and asphalt) and these sandals provide excellent traction, support, and style. I have been wearing Danskos and FitFlops for years. Danskos are now too heavy and the heels a bit high on their sandals. FitFlop are a PITA with their sizing. I am hooked on these sandals. I don't love their cost, but the sandals themselves are outstanding!

This is the most comfortable sandal I’ve ever worn. They provide excellent support, are very well made and are well worth the money. I purchased the color “Lipstick” which is actually a very pretty red patent leather and plan to buy another pair in black.

I really, really love these shoes. When I considered the price, I about fell over...I've NEVER spent so much on a pair of shoes. But, I have wide feet and am pretty hard on shoes. These are not only so comfortable that I could sleep in them, but they are so well made that I believe I'll likely be able to wear them for a decade or more. They're 100% worth the investment, so much so that I'm really considering biting the bullet and ordering a second pair in black.

Cute, EE width sandals are nearly impossible to find, and I wanted these to be as perfect as they look, but unfortunately they didn't work for me. Good: The width and overall length were spot-on for my 8.5 EE feet, and the style is exactly what I wanted. Bad: The portion of the ankle straps around the back of the heel (non-adjustable) was too big, but I could've lived with that. Also, the arch support didn't line up with where my arches actually fall (about by an inch off), which was the deal breaker. Bummed and sending them back.

My feet are picky. I have lower arches (not completely flat). The arch support is amazing in these! The fit is great. I have the straps adjusted to the next to last hole-maybe a few more holes would have been better for thin feet. I ordered another pair today. They’re worth the cost to me because they’re comfortable, stylish, and made in America.

These sandals fit great and are super comfortable. I am 65 with wide flat feet and a bit of a bunion on each foot. I was a bit wary of the toe ring but it is no problem at all. I love the fact that there are adjustable straps across the toes and around the ankle. I purchased mine in Sapphire which is more interesting than boring navy. Always considered the SAS brand to look like "old lady shoes" but these are cute. My regular size is 8W which is what I purchased. Like previous reviewers I was hesitant because of the price but the quality is there and I will be wearing these sandals for many years.

I wear a 37R in Arizona Birkenstocks, a 7 in Teva's, and generally range between a 7-7.5 in sandals. I ordered a 7 which is the size Zappos recommended. At first I thought that they felt a little tight across the toes but the leather relaxed a little and feels fine now. The footbed is really high quality and feels supportive. Comfortable, supportive, not ugly, not matronly = very hard to find. These are winners.

I usually forget to write reviews....but these shoes deserve one. I love everything about them. I even had my mother buy a pair. Here's the deal: foot problems - I have them all. Big feet, bunions, plantar fasciitis, pain at the ball of my foot, fallen arches... you name it, I got it. These sandals are wonderful. They look pretty as well and hide my bunion. I'm writing this same review for the Aravon Sandals I just bought as well. Now I need a pedicure

I have come to the place in life where comfort trumps cuteness but I’m not happy about it. I want cute shoes but my feet demand support (recent onset of very mild plantar fasciitis). Amongst the comfort sandals these seemed to be less chunky than some and at least a little bit cute, in that outdoorsy Birkenstock kind of way. I’m an outdoorsy girl - I can handle that. I wasn’t thrilled with the price but I’ve tried so many options at this point I no longer care. These arrived today and I was THRILLED the second I put them on. The reviews weren’t kidding!!! Soooo comfortable! I think I could walk miles in them. The footbed is a soft suede-like material so it feels great. I hope it wears well. The heel looks like wood but it’s a squishy foam-like material. Feels a little almost-cheap for the price but it looks nice. Once it’s on it really looks like wood and again - so comfortable. My only hesitation is if they’ll hold up, but I’m hoping the lack of reviews saying they fell apart means they will. If these shoes wear well and hold up, I’ll own every color by next summer. I’ve finally found something other than a flip flop that I’m happy to slip on every morning. Fingers crossed they last!

I have a hard time getting sandles that fit, because I wear a wide shoe. These Pampa Toe Loop Sandles are the most comfortable candle that I have ever worn.

I loved these sandals. Slightly dressier (which is what I was looking for) than the other SAS sandals I love. But for me, the thong toe thing was too far back. And the angle with the heel would push my foot forward into it.

These fit fantastically. They are actually wide enough at the base to support the shape and width of my foot. The straps are adjustable and adjust long enough to accommodate my high arches. I ended up keeping the Shelly style sandal without the back strap instead but these were also very comfortable.

These are truly the most comfortable sandals I have ever worn. I have two pairs and I’m going to buy a third pair. These sandals are also really attractive looking which is often not the case with “comfort “ sandals. I wear them on a daily basis but I can also wear them with dressier clothes. I wear a wide width and I find these are a good fit. Your feet will thank you.

These sandals are stylish and comfortable. SAS have come a long way. I've been wearing SAS for several years and used to call them my old lady shoes. I love these sandals. I'd already purchased two pair at a SAS Store. After wearing them (Brown and Ivory) and they were so comfortable I decided to order the other two pair from ZAPPOS. These are the best fitting sandals that I've purchased in a long time.

These sandals are fantastic! The footbed feels very good on, it has soft and springy cushion. They have great arch support. I was a little worried they'd be too clunky or wide but they aren't for my average feet with narrow heels. The style is very well thought out and a perfect balance of comfort and style. I had to go down a half size, I'm almost always a 7 in sandals and flats and got a 6.5. The 7 would have worked, but the 6.5 has a more secure fit in the heel and isn't too short. The leather is very soft and I haven't gotten any blisters or rubbing wearing them. I don't normally like a toe strap, but I barely notice it in these. I was looking for a while for a sandal for an upcoming trip that will involve lots of walking, and these will be perfect for that. I'll be wearing these all summer!

I LOVE these sandals. I bought my pair in 2018(!) for a trip, and since then they've stood up to long days of walking, getting wet and drying, slipped on and off hundreds of times. The only piece that degraded to the point of replacement was the elastic that holds the upper strap clasp to the heel strap - which makes sense, as it's a plastic/synthetic component that stretches out over time. Otherwise, the outsole is still whole, the glue has held together, the footbed has kept its shape, and the leather has aged nicely. If the build quality is as good today as it was when I bought mine, you may have found the last pair of sandals you'll ever need.

I just got my first pair of Pampa sandals because I loved the pearly white color. They are amazingly comfortable! I have narrow feet and was able to adjust the straps to fit snuggly. They look lovely too! Please consider making other colors (blues, pinks), and a darker sole. Thank you!

I have to add a 1 and 3/8-inch build-up on my right shoe. I was also diagnosed with plantar fasciitis & a heel spur so a very good quality pair of shoes is an expensive and necessary investment to avoid pain, discomfort and complications. This is why I have been purchasing SAS sneakers, sandals and lace up casual shoes for about 30 years. I saw these shoes on the website when they first came out and knew I had to have the red "lipstick" color. I purchased them in my size 6 1/2 wide and had the build up added to the right shoe. These shoes are adorable & comfortable. The arches of the shoes fit my arches perfectly and prevents pain. Praise God hallelujah. I even added a few pieces of solid red and red print clothing to my wardrobe so I could wear these lovely shiny red patent leather shoes more often. And I get a lot of compliments on these shoes because they're so pretty. Good job SAS. FYI - I would not recommend these for regular walking shoes because I have found that the big toe can rub and get sore on the loop with a lot walking.

These are my first SAS and I am sold! I have wide, flat feet with plantar fasciitis and posterior tibial tendonitis... they are, well, problem feet to say the least. Most sandals that provide comfort and support look like I'm rocking Sophia of the Golden Girls shoes. Sandals that look my age make me feel like Sophia by the end of the day, bet then there were these babies! So comfortable, so supportive, youthful, a little sexy and in a wide?! Love it!
