I wanted to love this shoe, but the fit was very wonky. The width was just a little narrow and the Velcro strap across the front of the foot didn't meet well. If the strap was a little longer it may have worked. The length was 1/2-1 size too long. Too bad because they seemed nicely cushioned and soft on the foot. For your reference I purchased an 8 1/2 wide, which is usually my go-to sandal size. I also purchased an Easy Street Radical sandal at the same time, in the same size, for about 40 bucks, and it fits much truer to size.

Sad to say, these were the very BEST sandals I tried to buy recently, but I could NOT get past the SQUEAKING NOISE ON LINOLEUM AND WOOD FLOORS! I loved the style and the comfort but these are too expensive to keep if they have a problem as huge as making noise when walking in them. WHY HASN'T SAS DONE SOMETHING ABOUT THIS PROBLEM???? Great style, sizing and comfort but to rip under the sole to add baby powder just isn't something I want to do when I have paid this price for sandals. Get this problem FIXED, SAS!!!!

the shoes are not the most attractive ones -- but the cushiony comfort of the sole was great. However, the band across the upper part of the foot was very uncomfortable for my feet - may be just fine for someone else, though.
I'd also recommend:

This sandal was an inch bigger than any of my other sandals. Can’t comment on comfort because it was too big. Seemed like it would be great but did not care for the wide straps. My skinny feet look lost. That may just be my preference.

Bought my mother in love these shoes as her feet have started really swelling. Double WW wide is still too narrow to prevent Velcro from showing and just barely attaches.

I really appreciated the comfort and support this shoe provided. I like how it stayed on my foot and that there was a velcro strap to help with that. I had been told it felt like a cloud and it really was that comfortable. However, my feet are an odd size and even though it fit in length wise and it didn't slip off my heel it pinched my toes on the side. I would say that is user error more that the shoe error.

I have purchased many SAS shoes while in Florida as they are the only place I have found comfortable size 4 sandals. Not being able to go there this year, I bought on line. All my other SAS sandals are a 4. These I bought in a 41/2 and the straps cannot buckle comfortably. I do have a wide foot but all my other sandals have been great. Hopefully I can find a way to fix them. I also have had SAS running shoes and walking shoes but in a 5.
Can't really select the next sizing question. The shoe is not too small. I just needed longer straps

This shoe was too wide for my foot and looked even wider than it felt. The quality was great. It just didn't meet my needs but I'm sure it would be great for someone with a wider foot.

SAS has sent me a shipping label to return them. The have a tongue like a tennis shoe that comes up your foot. It slant way to one side and is uncomfortable. No way to adjust the tongue that is the way it is made. The adjustable straps were awkward to use as well.

Another case of I liked them online, but not on me. I wore them around the house for about an hour, but they weren't that comfortable. And the velcro is a different color than the shoe top, so if you adjust the straps at all, the velcro becomes exposed, which means they are going to attract every little thread, dust, etc., as well as be obvious. So I'm returning these, too.

This sandal would have worked better if the straps were longer. I had to adjust the strap so that all you could see was velcro. It looked awful at best. The foot bed is comfortable.

I wanted to like these but the straps hurt my feet, felt stiff and rubbed my toes. To be fair though, I am very picky about shoes and at age 92, my feet are hard to please. I need very narrow shoes which are hard to find.

These weren't a good fit for me. They made my feet look chunky. However, the main problem was with the hook and loop strap that goes over the foot. The strap is so short that about and inch and a half of velcro loops were exposed, and it looked very strange.
