I usually wear a 9W but after reading the reviews I ordered a half size smaller, 8.5W, and the fit was perfect. I really love this sandal, so incredibly comfortable and wearable right out of the box. The leather is soft and pliable and the sole cushioning is wonderful, it has a temperapedic kind of feel where your feet are cradled. I got the Silver Mist, white with silvery trim and it really is beautiful. It's a gentle, creamy grey-white color, not stark, and the leather has a little sparkle to it. So pretty! I noticed that the soles did squeak on the highly polished floors in my doctor's office but I expect that will lessen with a bit of wear and even if it doesn't it won't stop me from wearing these. I had no issues with the velcro and buckle adjustments and was able to get a great snug fit -- no heel slapping. There's a little bit of velcro showing on the arch strap after adjusting, but it's the same color as the leather and does not bother me. So glad I ordered these!

Love this shoe! Love most SAS shoes! I got the silver mist, which I much prefer to the stark white. Half size larger than my usual, accommodated my wonky big toe just fine, excellent support for my high longitudinal arch. Put them on, felt like I'd been wearing them for weeks. Just wish the straps were a bit thinner...personal preference.

Beautiful shoe. I can go anywhere in this sandal. It supports and does not trip on the stairs or different surfaces.

I was impressed with the high ratings on this shoe and since it appealed to me, and I needed a comfortable sandal of this type, I decided to order it. After receiving several sizes and widths, I found the one that worked perfectly for me. I confirm that the high ratings are accurate and SAS is truly a manufacturer that emphasizes comfort. This is the first SAS purchase for me, and, so far, I'm sold. Thanks, SAS, for creating shoes for the wide-footed gals.

so disappointed! This is not a cheap shoe but could never wear it. Sole was so squeaky and loud.

Really really comfortable. White shoes and sandals can easily look orthopedic but these are stylish. Could wear them to a whole day at Disneyland if I wanted to. (That’s my test for whether a shoe is super comfortable.)

These sandals are so comfortable, I wore them all day straight out of the box. I love that SAS offers an extra wide fitting in small sizes (I’m a 5), because often I find this option only starts at a 6. The adjustable straps ensure they fit just right too. I initially bought them in midnight and found them so comfortable I then bought them in navy. Definitely recommended for anyone who, like me, has bunions and flat feet!!

Beautiful leather on the Dawn shoe. Best orthopedic shoe I have found, also slip resistant soles are great, So very comfortable, i am very happy with these, as the arthritis in my feet made it difficult to wear shoes, and to find such comfortable ones. I would highly second Nudu shoes as well as the sas brand for their fine hand crafted shoes. Thank you zappos for your fast delivery.

Very comfortable and very pretty. Mine do not squeak. I got the navy blue which are a true blue rather than almost black. This is my 2nd pair of SAS sandals. The others have lasted many years. The quality on these seem very good.

My mom gave me my first pair of SAS sandals several years ago (over 5) and I'm still wearing them. They are finally beginning to show their age, so I wanted another pair. I couldn't find the exact same style, but this was close so I decided to try it. I was not disappointed! These shoes are just as comfortable. I have many foot issues, a small wide foot, bunions, a broken toe, corns, etc. I can wear these all day and still not want to take them off when I get home from work. Will definitely be buying another pair!

I often have a hard time getting shoes. I often settle because I'm hard to fit. Being a senior-I have a bunion and the start of hammer toes. These sandals did not take one minute of "braking in" they were perfect from the moment I put them on. I'm very pleased-well worth it too.

Loved the soft cushion comfort of this sandal. The adjustable straps help to get a perfect fit. I got the navy and I am very happy with the color and style of this sandal. This is my third pair of SAS sandals and I am happy with each pair. Everyone’s feet are different so all I can say is give them a try. This sandal is extraordinarily comfortable and good looking. I needed a sandal that is secure enough to be used for walking in urban settings (think cobblestones) and this really fits the bill. The Velcro also makes it very easy to adjust. I normally take a 7.5 AAA, but in this style I needed the 7 so it does run a little long. I did not care for this particular color/leather combination and so returned it, but I already have the exact same sandal in navy which is absolutely perfect.

This is a great shoe. I love the way you can make multiple adjustments with the straps. It is especially nice that they have a buckle strap in the back. Velcro straps in the back rarely work for me as I have very narrow heels. They are very comfortable. Others commented that the shoes make noise on hard wood floors but I have not had that problem. I highly recommend this shoe. They can be worn for either casual or dressy. As always Zappos is great. Received them on time and in great condition. Thanks Zappos for being here for those who have hard to fit feet.

My feet have always been at war with shoes. I've always had difficulty finding shoes that are truly comfortable. These shoes not only look good and are well made, but they are really comfortable. I don't usually spend this much for a pair of shoes, but after I bought the navy pair, I had to have the black ones. The comfort surely justifies the price.

Love love love this sandal! Like walking on clouds. Superior fit and comfort with great arch support. I wear a slim fit and a nice looking sandal is very difficult to find. So comfortable that I bought another color. Well worth the price.

What a great pair of sandals !! I didn't want to like these for I thought SAS was an old lady brand, but once I put them on I changed my mind. So cushioned and soft and no pinching anywhere. They look pretty good too, not old lady like at all. They work well for my problem feet-bunions and overpronation. They seem to be true to size and width, and the adjustable strap is great.

Great option for this style of sandal. Has a patent leather detail that makes it a little more showy than matte leather. I have a narrow foot, but this runs too narrow. The Velcro showed even when I pulled it as far across as possible. I exchanged these for medium and they fit fine.Unless you wear a AAA, I recommend starting with medium width. MADE in AMERICA shoes to boot! (no pun intended)

BREAKTHROUGH style. Superior comfort. Years ago I bought a butter soft Relaxed sandal by SAS that looked similar in style to Birkenstocks which had given me planter faciitis. They cured me and were so comfy I rarely took them off. Picky does not describe how fussy I am about comfort. But I needed a dressier style for events. Last summer, I was out of town for niece's wedding. Forgot my old black Dansko sandals. OH no! Got on line and found a SAS store nearby since I had no time to use my beloved Zappos. Lo, there were the adorable Nudus in black. Exactly what I needed. Whew. These saved the day. I wore them with a long black dress and Asian kimono for an outdoor wedding. Perfect. My only complaint is that the strap does not go down far enough over my high instep to cover all the velcro. I saw another woman had the same issue. Now in black I'm not sure who will notice this...they'd need to get on the floor to see this unless you put your feet on the table at the reception. The support is good, falling short only of my clunky but treasured Relaxed, but that's all. Really, they look and feel great. They do squeak across hardwood floors, fyi. Most public places I visit don't have these floors so I'm fine. Certainly the forest floor at the wedding made nary a sound. I'm to attend another wedding at a hotel in Beverly Hills this fall. I may wear these, though I'm considering a bit of a heel. I say considering, though my feet will scream at me. I'm going to investigate Abeos by the Walking Company. I wish Zappos had this line...they have a special footbed that people rave about. But that is an unknown at the moment. Nudu's are a proven sandal! and sharp looking. The touch of sparkle is just that--a touch. I normally don't like embellishments of any kind. This just dresses the sandal up a whiff. Ideal. I got the Beige ones first and they were so comfortable and good looking I came back for the Black. Especially good for my hard to fit narrow foot. I plan to wear them to a wedding in comfort!
