My feet are "duck feet" - narrow heel and wide forefoot, with a high arch (cavus foot). The forefoot (ball of the foot) width was perfect! Unfortunately, the heel was also SO wide that they looked odd, but the deal-killer was that the shape or the wide heel or the lack of arch support - or all 3 together, forced my feet into pronation, a flat-footed uncomfortable, impossible-to-walk in position. I think these sandals would be great for someone with a wide foot front to back, but not a duck-shaped foot like mine.

These are beautiful SAS sandals but toe area not wide enough or comfortable enough for my wide feet.

Unfortunately the brown snake did not work out. The buckles on top were not fastened tightly into the leather underneath, therefore I could feel the metal rubbing on the top of my toes. This was not the case with the gold pair.

I normally wear a 9W in SAS. this sandal was not wide. My foot hung over the sole. I do not recommend if you have a wide foot.

The sizing was strange. I got an 8 Medium and the width at the front of my foot was very tight at the loosest position, yet the heel was very wide. I would have gotten a wide to accommodate the front of my foot but it seemed like it would have been comically wide at the heel. Seems like if the straps had been a tad longer it could have worked. Also, it didn't seem to have much if, if any arch support.

Cute sandal but it felt narrower than a WW. My toes barely fit in the straps. Had to return these.

Wonderful soft footbed. Color is perfect for denim. I had to return because they were too short heel to toe. Same size as I got before, but this pair just isn’t right. I will try again. Love SAS.

The Duo is a lovely looking shoe in this sparkly dark navy. I've always worn narrow or regular width shoes, but the medium width in these sandals is too tight even with the straps opened to widest spot.

I used the filters to search for leather sandals with arch support and these sandals showed up as having arch support. There is NO arch support at all. If you don’t need arch support, then these sandals would probably be very comfortable.

I love these shoes but they have an intense smell - maybe it's the leather. They also squeak every time I take a step. Unfortunately I have to send them back.

The footbed was nice and the width was perfect but they have NO arch support to speak of.

This shoe is flat. There is no arch support. Fitted narrower than usual.

I have been wearing the SAS Duo for years. I usually wear an 8.5W or 9W. Perhaps SAS has made a change to their wide shoes this year. The problem with the ones I received was that the straps that hold your foot in place were so long and oversized for me, I couldn't keep them on at all. This had never happened before. I plan to make a call to the SAS shoe store in the nearest city to my home to see if that is what they have done. I have been a Zappos customer for over 30 years and love them. Hope I can find a new alternative sandal that will work for me. My feet are not thick; they are actually delicate by nature, but I need a supportive flexible sandal that has a soft arch support in a wide size to accommodate my toes spread. Thank you, Zappos for making shopping easy.

The buckles are too small. Difficult to close.

Shoe was well made, but it was way wider than I expected for Narrow.

Cute sandals but they were too tight on my feet

Shoe is fine, but not in this material. It had an edge that was uncomfortable on the top of my foot. I returned it, but bought the light blue which is much more comfortable.

The color is awful. It’s dusky.

This is marked 8 narrow, which is my size, but my foot went off the front of the sandal; they are too short . Other reviews said the same thing. Returning them. Overpriced, too.

Not happy with the style. Have these in black and wore them. They are comfortable but not wow like my other SAS shoes. Style is okay in black but don't like the white.
