I have worn SAS Twin for years. I can take them out of the box and wear them all day. The narrow width is true to size. The twin has elastic on top of the shoe which helps since I have arthritis in 1 foot. I'm very happy that Zappos is now carrying SAS. I've had many styles of SAS shoes through the years. It is a long lasting shoe made in the USA by a company that takes pride in the quality of their product. There have been times where I have traded the insert with a thinner one when my foot was very swelled from the hot, humid weather. Another thing I want to mention is that I feel secure when walking in the rain or snow because the bottom of the shoe helps from slipping.

These shoes are ridiculously comfortable, but I went back and forth in my mind as to whether these were fashionable enough. Were they dowdy or funky? With no socks and with form-fitting pants/capris did they look weird or cool? A younger person can wear anything but an older person like me has to think twice. In the course of trying the shoes on multiple times I decided I had to keep them for their incredible comfort and that, yes, they were weirdly cool enough to be fashionable.

This model fits much better than a similar style,SAS Simplify, which was very narrow in the toe box and I don't have a wide foot either. It costs more but worth it in comfort. This the Twin was extremely comfortable right out of the box. If you want comfort, I highly recommend this shoe.

Have had these in brown for a few years. After walking 8 1/2 miles on a day trip to NYC, I realized how awesome they were and ordered a black pair. I have narrow feet and they fit perfectly, no slipping in heel. And I have to wear an arch support in every pair of shoes I own except these.

Have bought other styles of SAS shoes and these are very comfortable for me as were the other styles. I had two different surgeries on one foot and after healing up needed a pair of 'comfey' shoes. My feet are not swollen but some tenderness still exists, these shoes fit the bill. Good arch support, cushion foot pad, all around good shoe fit.

Excellent casual style and comfort. I cannot say enough about SAS ! And, the best part? Made in USA ! That says it all.

The WWs run a little narrow, though the leather -- which is quality -- seems like it would stretch well enough, but these are much more like slippers than shoes. Soft and cushy like a mattress, but not supportive at all, so they'd be good for shuffling and puttering, but definitely not the kind of shoes you'll want to walk into town.

Omg. Like pillows for your feet! Now all my other shoes feel flat and too thin. Buying the other color!

I have a very narrow foot and actually wanted a slim width (which I've had before) but there weren't any available and I hadn't had any luck with being on a waiting list. The narrow is ok but it slips on my heel a little bit. With socks they will be fine. The shoes are very comfortable and these are my second pair.

SAS Twin is EXTREMELY comfortable right out of the box! The shoe is soft, very cushioned, supportive, and well-made. It's somewhat clunky looking and not very stylish, but the sacrifice is worth it for the amazing comfort. The brown color is very nice. The SAS Twin is a very basic, highly sensible loafer that I'll wear around the house, to run errands, and when I have some considerable walking or standing to do and don't want to wear a sneaker.

Wow, is all I can say. These are the most comfortable shoes. I am going on a trip to Europe that will involve lots and lots of walking. These will be going with me. Easy on and oh so comfortable---perfect for airports too. Love them

I love these shoes for work where I stand for 10 hours! I find that I need to order them a little wider than normal. They last for what seems like forever and I love how my feet, knees and hips don't hurt!

Size 10.5 medium fit perfectly! The shoe is soft as butter, doesn't slip around on my foot, but doesn't feel too snug either. There is enough room in the toe box to allow my toes to wiggle. The shade of brown is perfect-not too dark and not too light. Definitely keepers.

I have worn SAS shoes for years, including this style. The Twin is extremely comfortable because of all the padding, and also offers great support. I was very happy when I saw that Zappos is now selling SAS shoes. Their customer service is outstanding!

This was my third attempt to find an SAS loafer. I tried my size in N width hoping the heel wouldn’t slip and knowing leather will stretch. The toes were too tight and the heel still slipped. Back to Zappos they went.

I had expected a superior fit, so was disappointed when I found them a bit tight & stiff. The top, upper part of the shoe felt tight. I had ordered my usual size. Maybe a wider width would’ve been right.

I bought these (11 N) online after seeing a tiny pair at a local shoe store. I couldn't believe how comfortable they were instantly. I am 75 and I have never owned a pair of loafers before because the style always felt awful no support and slipping off my heels. I bought these for house shoes but I have run out to the store in them and my bony high arched feet are happy. The leather is buttery soft. The arch support is amazing. If there were a store near me that sold all of the SAS styles I would try them all on even if it took me all day!

These are super comfortable. I had to go up 1/2 size to a 9 1/2 N. They do not slip in the back. I have trouble with slip on shoes staying on my feet. They are never narrow enough in the heel except the Twin. I could walk miles in these.

I originally ordered this shoe in my normal size, 10 B. They were too tight. Thanks to Zappos' easy return policy, I called to obtain a return label and order the same shoe in a C width. The shoes arrived in 2 days. As soon as the original shoes were processed by UPS, I received notice of a credit for them to my credit card. So, I am both happy with the shoes and how Zappos treats its customers.

I bought these for my daughter. She put them right on her feet and did not complain one bit about her bunion. She has had no complaints at all.

Love SAS loafers, but didn't keep this particular pair because the styling felt a bit masculine. Still, a beautifully-crafted, basic, unadorned shoe. SAS = Quality craftsmanship.

I wear a size 11-1/2 2XW and have neuropathy in both feet. This is a very comfortable shoe and easy to step in to it. I wanted a shoe that has no ties or velcrow because I have osteoarthiritis in my right leg and I cannot bend over to tie a shoe. My only problem is the heel on the 11-1/2 is a little big so I ordered the size 11 to see if that is better. Once I find the correct size the shoe is EXCELLENT and well made!
