I really wanted to like these shoes. They felt very comfortable when I took them out of the box and tried them on. As soon as I started walking in them I had a problem as my heels were slipping out of the shoes. I could barely keep them on. I wear a size narrow and I have tried medium shoes on that had a narrower heal than these shoes. It felt as though they made a narrow shoe with an extra wide heal. Very disappointed as I thought for this price these would be great shoes. I would suggest people order a narrow if they have a medium foot as these shows have such a wide heal. These are going back.

The overall fit of the shoe was fine except for the heel. I am a medium and the heel felt like a wide. Loose and sloppy. I returned them.

I received the Sporty silver shoes today and with the complimentary colored laces they are cute. They do run narrow. Zappos directed me toward ordering a 1/2 size larger so I ordered my regular size plus the 1/2 size larger and Zappos was right. The extra length didn't seem to matter but it did afford more width in the front of the shoe. My regular size was a "hot" shoe inside I guess my foot was stuffed in. I do have a narrow heel so I can tie it tighter or add an athletic sock should I have a problem. The heel is exactly what I wanted it affords the stability to keep my balance. I am going to keep them primarily because of the heel.

Was not sure if I would like this shoe. I typically do not like black shoes in general. I LOVE, LOVE these. They are comfortable and look great., I have received several compliments about the shoes. When I mention sneakers, one commenter told me they thought they were more like dress shoes. Looks good with my jeans and my casual wear. Thanks SAS. :)

This is the 4th pair of Sporty Luxe shoes I have purchased. First time for this color - taupe/stone. They fit my very narrow foot (6.5 slim) so well and offer good support. I usually buy a new pair in the spring when SAS offers $20 off. I'll be in big trouble when these are no longer available!

I wore this new pair of shoes from 7:30 am until 1:45 pm and was on my feet 90% of that time. I felt like my feet were pampered. Awesome support and comfort plus I got compliments on my new shoes. At age 75, support and comfort are of prime importance.

A Visit to the podiatrist due to trouble with bunion and a list of pros for good shoes to support issue, led me right back to SAS! First, nearly all of my shoes are SAS recommended many years ago by my foot surgeon and have been most confident with them. Second, since my one foot has changed, I just happened to see that the Sporty Lace Ups were on sale and I ordered a double wide pair, taking a chance on the size as all sales are final. The shoes look very cool (black with touches of aqua) , accommodate the change in my foot, have a bit of more toe room, and are wonderfully comfortable! Couldn't be happier, grateful for SAS !

I was the first employee hired at Store #226. Needless to say, I have many pairs of SAS shoes. I absolutely love the Sporty. I have walked around Disney World Parks many times in this sneaker.
