Lovely just not for my left foot. Right shoe was comfortable. Sad because I have SAS sandals and wear them all the time without discomfort on either foot.

I have been searching for a good supportive shoe to help me with arthritis in my hips and spine. Used to wear Clark’s, but since they no longer make the “Wavetrek” I am no longer a fan. Decided to try SAS due to the reviews. VERY expensive, so I was looking for perfection. The arch support was wonderful. I have a very high arch and find there is just no support in most athletic and walking shoes today. Only gripe I really have with these is they feel a little loose around the ankle. Not as snug as I would like. Find my heel slipping. However, overall comfort is wonderful,

I have the SAS Cozy sandal in 11 2A which fits great, so ordered Walk Easy in the same size. I have very slim heels, and a bunion on one foot. The 11 in this shoe is too long and 2A slips in the heel. The quality is very good and comfortable.. Since then I ordered another SAS style in 10.5 3A and it was not long enough but the heel did not slip for me. the 3A was good.. So it looks like 11 3A may be my size. Will see!

Sturdy shoe with wide toe box. Decent style. Decided to return it because it is heavier than I would like.

I have another pair in "Nero" charcoal nubuck and love them. ***** in all categories for those. However, the chocolate nubuck is a very dull brown color, not the lively reddish brown depicted in the photo. They aren't as stylish looking as the charcoal ones, thus the lower scores overall and for style. I returned them immediately without even trying on.

I've only been wearing these for a couple of weeks now, but they are great. Very comfortable. I usually order Clarks 7.5 Wide, but I ordered the 7.5 WW in the SAS shoe. I'm glad I did. I wasn't sure if they would be overly wide, but they are not. The shoes are very structured and should keep their shape. I have a nero and chocolate nubuck. My nero's look like they are navy though, so if you want them to look black you should order the black ones. I have a lot of dark grey slacks that they go good with. The shoe isn't as comfortable as a tennis shoe/sneaker, but I was looking for a comfortable shoe that I could go to meetings in at work and walk around a lot on a school campus.

I was looking online for which shoes/colors I bought, and see that I got this one in the chocolate unbuck. However, since looking at my shoe closet - the shoe I received looks different in color & leather. It's a brown color, not really nubuck (the one pictured here looks like chestnut suede); don't know how I missed that when the shoes arrived. I'm keeping the ones I got because they are comfortable, etc. but keep in mind the photo here doesn't look anything like what I got, except for the design and sole. The sole on my pair is brown, this one in the photo looks to me like black. Oh well....

I'm still not sure whether I want to keep my new Walk Easy shoes. I needed a walking shoe a bit longer than my previous shoes. But I have extremely narrow heels. I bought the size 8.5 Slim. Unfortunately, with every increase in length, the SAS shoes increase slightly in width. So now my toes have space, but, with every step, my heels slip in the shoes. I do like the shorter tongue, as compared with the "Tour" style. (Now I'm thinking the "Freetime" style may be the best compromise.)

At first it looked like a shoe that I could wear to work but once I put it on it started hurting my instep. The shoe is stiff and the front of the shoe is curved upward so it rocks if you are standing still.

As is the case with other SAS shoes, I find them too loose in the heel. I keep trying different styles of their shoes, but end up returning most of them for this reason.

Very sturdy shoes, but quite heavy compared to my SAS Viva. I first tried the narrow as that has been my previous size in SAS. Narrow was tight in the vamp, so customer service helped me do an exchange for medium width. This time the shoes fit but the extra pair of laces was missing from the box, and that along with the weight of the shoe made me ultimately decide to return them! I will not give up on SAS though, the workmanship is fantastic and of course nobody beats the excellent customer service at Zappos!

the foodbed is very good and offers maximum cushioning and support. the tongue is small and tends to angle to the side. it's also not well padded so the shoestrings put too much pressure on the top of the foot. overall, it's good but the manufacturer could make some improvements. i found that thinner shoestrings helped a little.

The shoe was clunky and unattractive. The lace-up put pressure on the top of my right foot making it very uncomfortable. I know I need support, but this was not only ugly, but also uncomfortable at the same time. This shoe costs too much to be both. What do I have to do to get a cute and comfortable shoe!!! Ugh! I'm exhausted with the process.

I need a sneaker with a wide toe box. This was fine in that regard, but the opening around the ankle rubbed and the sneaker was heavy. Also, the arch bothered me and I felt off balance when I stood.

This leather was the absolute stiffest shoe leather I've ever tried to wear. These shoes were incredibly uncomfortable and hard.

The fit seems true to size. The inside arch is a little high, making it seem like your heels are lower, something like the old earth shoes. But, the reason I am returning them is that they have no tread on the sole, and I lost traction with them just walking on our hardwood floors, I can't imagine how slick they would be with an unexpected puddle of water, or some slick spots outdoors. They cater to older customers, but I'd like to remind them the primary goal for a person my age is not to fall!!

These shoes are hard, inflexible, and uncomfortable at the instep and top. I have wide feet, so I prefer well made shoes with a little give for comfort. These reminded me of those hard shoes that toddler wear. I was not pleased at all with these shoes.

This is my 3rd pair and the only shoe I wear on daily basis. My shoe store quit selling SAS...their loss...I can get these on line. Fit is exactly right every time. I love the leather, the non slip sole that doesn't hang an inch over the top of the shoe...preventing tripping and falling from stepping on an overhung sole. Great product...please do not discontinue in my lifetime!
