I had a 9WW and it was ok but very snug. Glad to see 9WWW is available. I need a wide due to bunions. These are acceptable neutral shoes with a round toe. There is very little heel cushioning, so I have added Dr. Scholl's heel cushions (about $50.00 from the drug store display with the "diagnostic" feature). Knees and feet are happy now. The heel cushion is a little too high for my back, so I will search for a lower one. It is sad that the running shoe companies (Nike, New Balance, Asics) make such a shoddy product (extremely pillow-ey cushioning which does not support the feet) that I have to buy SAS to get ordinary neutral shoes with enough support and some impact-resistance. Still, even the SAS shoes don't last very long. It's a lot of money, but, being able to walk is essential to me.

After having my ankles rebuilt from a car accident a few years ago, I have bought these shoes from SAS. The problem is that both pair a whole appears in the netting and pokes thru which makes the shoe look ugly. As much as I paid for these shoes I'm disappointed in how they are holding up. Nice looking shoe that doesn't over emphasize the heel, sole or decorated in wild neon colors. The length size is accurate and the slim width fits my AAA-AAAA heels. Feels comfortable and provides support for all day walking with my orthotics. After a few months however, the right heel has stretched a bit and the textured design that looks like crocodile is cracked and peeling off. Hard to keep clean (color: Plat Mix), but looks great with light blue jeans.

My local store doesn't carry SAS tennis shoes so I ordered these online. I thought the leather strips on the side would hold my one foot that turns out but they did not. I should've tuned into the "mesh" part of the description because they give too much on the sides.
