Ordered for my 99 yo grandmother. She felt comfortable right away in them and said she felt steadier on her feet. She uses a walker full time so that was important feedback for me to hear. Will most likely get these in black too for her.

SAS shoes are the only shoes that I can be certain will fit me. I am old and have foot problems and SAS shoes are the only shoes that consistently fit. I have worn them for years..
Many I have date back 5 or 10 years. Very durable.

These fit like a dream! Shoes in narrow widths are soooo hard to come by, but these are perfect. And comfy! Somebody at SAS understands foot architecture! The shoes are not very attractive, though. Don't know what can be done about that. I have a foot injury & these sturdy clodhoppers provide the needed support during healing, and afterwards. The insoles are removable and so can be replaced with orthotics, and the Velcro closures are a lot easier to fasten and adjust than laces, so hooray for that. Comfy, supportive, but, alas, no things of beauty.

These SAS shoes always fit me. This shoe is great with velcro straps instead of laces since I have back issues and bending over to tie a shoelace is very difficult. The 3 stars instead of 5 for Style is because they actually look like Nurses' shoes, and I am not a nurse, and I'm retired and not even working! But with the sizing fitting my narrow feet, I will enjoy the feel.
I'd also recommend:
Sketchers are good too.

I started wearing SAS shoes probably 30 years ago when my podiatrist recommended them for use with an orthotic. I started wearing the Me Too in November or December of. 2012 when I had to have shoulder surgery and knew I wouldn't be able to tie my shoes for weeks. When I went in to find something with velcro, the salesman told me that the shoes I was wearing came in a velcro style. I was sold right away. I have never had a blister on my heel from these shoes, even wearing them out of the store on the day I bought them and the rest of the day. I can't recommend them enough.

I have worn this shoe for several years but the store where I usually bought them said they could not get the shoe with velcro so I went on line and found yours. I am hard to fit but this shoe seems to fit better than my previous pair.

These shoes are great, but they were the only size 11ee women's walking shoe with velcro straps in white. Everything else was out of stock. It's a shame because the elderly rely on shoes like these, and their feet have had a lot of time to stretch out. Please try to keep your specialty sizes in stock. People in assisted living and nursing homes depend on you. Thank you.
