The fit was okay but just didn't like the style and the way they looked on my feet.

Size was just right. & these were very comfortable. SAS never lets you down! However, I was looking for a sportier look, rather than a professional one, so I chose another SAS style.

These shoes felt great on my feet, but they are so horribly ugly! I wish that supportive shoes could be cute, too!

Tongue digs in to my ankle. Hopefully it will get less stiff over time. They really are ugly. Horribly expensive. But since they fit (and shoes rarely do) I will probably keep them (assuming they have decent traction).

I'll preface this by saying that I'm looking for a needle in a haystack. Problem feet, size 11.25. These don't lace up high enough on the foot to make them feel secure for me. With the insole IN, too much arch support, and with the insole out and my orthotic in, not enough to be comfortable - just kind of sloppy. I could deal with the styling if they felt great, but these go back and the hunt continues.

The toe box is much narrower than expected for a size D shoe. Rubbed the outside of my toes. These shoes are also somewhat stiff, while having a fairly good arch support.

I have several SAS sandals and they are very comfortable. I wanted a pair of white walking shoes but these were to tight over the instep and in the toe box. I do have a very high instep and a wide foot. I sent them back. Thank you Zappos for your return service.

These shoes fit pretty well, but I felt frumpy in them. They are very nicely made, and my full-length custom orthotics fit fine. Just not my style.

Too pointy above the ball of the foot. Perforations look ugly. Wish SAS made a shoe that looked more interesting and was wide all the way to the ends of the toes. Otherwise it would have been comfortable.

I used to love these SAS shoes. But I tried combinations of three sizes and two widths, and in all of them, the top of the shoe digs into my toes uncomfortably when I walk. I even tried different socks with all three sizes. I’m giving up on my search for narrow walking shoes. I’ve tried Propet, and New Balance, and no one else makes such shoes in my size that I know of. They certainly aren’t sold at Zappos, who seem to have everything,

I started with a 9 1/2 WIDE but it was too long and too snug for the bunion. Returned for a 9 EXTRA WIDE. Sadly had to return these as well. The leather upper is too stiff and still pressed on my bunion. The shoe style is pretty for an orthotic. Glad they are made in the USA. Thankful for Zappos return policy!!! Will try another brand.

These shoes seemed very supportive and comfortable, and would probably be great work shoes. I got them in blue, and the color is very nice with denim. I have four pairs of SAS pumps and they are incredibly gentle on my feet after a long day, so I believe in the SAS brand. That said, they were just too "clunky" for me. I was looking for a pair of walking shoes for a trip to NYC I'm planning this summer, and these made my feet look huge, and I'd like a little style to go with my comfort.

Really disappointed. I expected the charcoal nubuck to be closer to black. The shoes are a strange bluish gray. Returning the shoes.

I have owned several pairs of this shoe over the years and have always loved them, and maybe my foot has changed, but I am sorry to say that I just didn't find these as cushy comfortable as I used to. They are expensive so for the price I wanted them to be my dream shoe, just as I used to. I didn't and they were returned.

i could not wear either of these shoes. The width was not comfortable for me. I have to remove the sole and insert ortho's as I have made for me.

A very boring shoe and not as comfortable as i expected it might be. It had no arch support. I give up on SAS. The sizing was correct. The Charcoal upper is going to mark up very easily.

usually got SAS from the outlet store, but they closed so tried these, loved the look, but were to large. that is my normal size. ordered an other brand and they were good. will try again with a different size.

There is little or no traction. I was even slipping on my carpet. I can't imagine on a wet surface or on sand/dirt. I suppose if you are a nurse or waitress or similar, it would be a great shoe for all day comfort. For the rest of us who walk outside, it's not safe.

I own and love a pair of 6WW in red, so I ordered in black. The shoes that came not only feel smaller, but are visibly shorter in length. What happened? I am so disappointed. I would think a shoe size would be more uniform within a single company and a single style.

Granted, I didn't leave these shoes on for very long -- but long enough to know they felt awful. These are not at all like the old quality SAS shoes. They're SAD shoes now. The leather is the only notable quality part. The insole is very thin, not supportive or cushioned at all. Underneath this insole (the midsole) is a totally hard material, feels like cement. Their "tripad" cushioning is a farce -- there's one small round blue "spot" at the heel that barely feels better than the hard midsole. The other blue metatarsal "pad" is the same firm material, not cushioned feeling at all. The outsole is also very firm, no give to it as you walk. But the width was fine, the length is true to size. So disappointing, these would be torture to wear. I cannot figure out how the makers think these are a cushioned/shock-absorbing shoe at all!

I thought I had finally found awesome pretty shoes. I had until they were wearing out. I have to switch shoes everyday. I have pretty bad planters facilities (splg?) My heels with feel like they are on fire and I soak them in ice water on and off. The inside of the shoe is awesome. It's just the outside. I also have neuropathy and raynauds so at time I know my feet will drag or not walk normally. The toes look and hold up pretty good. But it's like they took a shoe and sprayed it with paint. The outside materiel maybe I should of went with a leather without the shine. I honestly don't know. But they have got to the point I can't wear them with my dresses or night out date. I can no longer wear heels so these were my go too, but not with them looking like this. Also I am trying to capture the outside. But will only load 4 pics. But will take pics of the worst issues. Seams, sole, scratches that won't buff out

I did not realize this shoe was swede, not leather, and the support I expected was not there. I have worn freetime shoes for years, but this one I cannot wear. Also, it came in a plain box, not the normal SAS box, with no SAS cards or the second pair of laces they always send. It also did not seem like a medium width event though it was marked as such. I must return this shoe, with regrets, as they do not have my size in another.
