This is a great backpack. I mostly use it as an overnight bag/personal item for flights. It's very roomy and has plenty of pockets. It fits my MacBook very well.

I love this pack it is perfect for business travel and that long weekend...I even use it for as my daily pack for work and the gym . There is more than enough room for my laptop, a pair of shoes and a change of clothes. I have large feet so the fact I can fit my shoes is huge. I carry absolutely everything I need in this bag. I may get another ... Just because !

The back pack is phenomenal. We carry a laptop, 3 iPads, and 2 kindles with all the appropriate cables. It is very organized and has many individual zip pockets. It is very comfortable to wear and we will be taking it on long flights. It is large enough to double as a carry on. I chose it over the TUMI and I am very happy with the purchase.

I am a full-time student and I also work full-time. This doesn't leave me a lot of time to run back home for things, or even run to my car sometimes. This backpack saves me so much time by allowing me to carry anything I might need during the day. It looks professional, but I would feel perfectly comfortable taking it for a backpacking trip. The design is great at distributing the weight across my shoulders and I feel as if my posture has improved because of it. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a quality, high-capacity backpack!

I have used Northface backpacks for many years now and can say from the several brands I have gone through these are the best. All other backpacks I used are not comfortable, they rip at the seams, and they can not handle heavy use but this backpack is as hardy as they come. Sleek, lightweight, and built to last worth the money and will recommend to all.

I needed a new backpack for school. My previous ones were either uncomfortable or have holes and other signs of wear and tear on them. I figured I'd try something new this time. What a charm this bag is. It fits everything in it. I don't have to keep adding and removing items everyday and it's soooooo comfortable. I love this bag. Can't wait to travel with it.

I can go on about the pros other reviewers have listed, but I'll cut it short. This backpack has pretty much everything you would want in a backpack. period!

I'm in love with this backpack. I was worried that the backpack itself would be too big, and look unnatural on me. I'm 5'10", and I didn't want a backpack that was going to look like a cape because of how big it was. This one is perfect, it has a super comfortable design, looks natural, and has all the space I'll ever need. I carry multiple textbooks at a time for school as well as my 15" MacBook Pro with plenty of room to spare. I've used it for weekend packing on long trips home, as well as a carry on for my flight to the Philippines. All of the front pockets conveniently organize all of my tech, like portable chargers, adapters, as well as my iPad and journal. The fleece lining is amazing, I can put my phone, iPad, and MacBook in the bag without having to worry about any fine line scratches on my gear, which has been a problem with almost ordinary backpacks I've owned in the past. The router transit is hands down the best backpack I've ever come to own, and I couldn't make a better recommendation if you're in the market for one!

This is my second north-face laptop bag, but not by choice. my surge 2, while being almost 3 years old, just didn't have room for my new 17 laptop. I'm a traveling integrated system tech and these bags do the job and hold up well. As for being water resistant I didn't see that claim anywhere in the features and even if I had would not leave my 3k laptop in the rain. The water bottle issue was solved with a yeti bottle, the compression straps above the pocket go thru the handled lid and when snapped hold the bottle securely in place. toss in some cold brew tea bags and water after security check and bam.. ice tea on a the plane!

Wanted to improve on my selection of backpack to haul my ski boots around. This bag is perfect. It may not work for people with really long feet, though. For my 26.5 ski boots, it's great. It's LOW PROFILE so it doesn't make you hunch over to balance it. Love it. Thanks North Face for doing this one right.

Son wanted a larger bag for high school - Router Transit fit the bill. Tough and unbelievably roomy - he sometimes carries 5 binders, a textbook or two, gym clothes, laptop, and lunch with room to spare Flat-zip laptop sleeve is genius.

I needed a bag that could accommodate the lead brick my company calls a laptop, while I travel from site to site. This bag works perfectly. I can fit the Mini-van laptop in one pouch, three days of clothes, and still have room for a tablet and chargers. I've had the bag for about a year now, and there are no visual signs of wear. I would definitely recommend it, for anyone that does a lot of short trips on short notice.

I have bought NF backpacks for my sons in school for several years now. I have never been disappointed and Im definitely not, again, this year! He wanted a large one so I got him the Router Transit and he loves it. So much room with so many padded pockets for all his things. He carries all his books from the 10th grade and the contents of his entire locker, because he doesn't have time between classes to go back to his locker. Carrying that much stuff would be too heavy except for this backpack makes it a snap for him. Very padded and comfortable, expands to fit whatever gear you have, yet compact to carry! Perfect for him and from past experience, this one will look almost new at the end of the school year! Great backpack!
