The Quality of these shoes are really really good, but I think the sneakers are the better option. I'm not sure what the difference is, but I was gifted a pair of sneakers for Dr Scholls a few years ago that became much comfier very quickly while I'm worried these aren't breaking in correctly.

These were the most comfortable shoe I've worn (though I should probably have gone for a 1/2 size smaller.) However, before a month of use the heel started to split (see photo). I suppose it is no problem to use a little glue to put this back together, but I expect that to be my job after a year, not after a month. If this was fixed, I'd by brown in a second.

had these for a year, very comfortable --wore them about 40 weeks .cleaned them every week. The sole started coming apart in two places --which after a while cause me to put away because of safety reasons

Very disappointed. After only 4 months of wearing them about 3 times a week in an office environment, a layer of the sole is starting to peel off. I had a previous pair of these shoes that I wore for years with no issues.

I work in a restaurant and I have been wearing this shoe for the last 10-12 years. I have been buying 2 pairs at a time, one black and one brown, and they usually last me 15 months. At that time the top would start looking raggedy but the sole would still be fine.
The last time I bought them back in July of last year, I noticed they had changed the sole, 3 weeks ago I noticed that the sole was coming apart at the heel on both shoes and the sole was worn out already, thats in 7 month, so basically each shoe lasted me 31/2 months. Wow! The quality of the new sole is very bad, I will not buy this shoe again and would not recommend it anymore. I always used to tell people how good these shoes were, not anymore!

I opted to purchase these shoes online instead of at my local shoe store. Took over a week to get the shoes. I've now worn the shoes for a week and already the sole has peeled away on the left shoe. Wasn't doing anything out of the ordinary that would prompt the issue.

fit and comfort are good, but soles separate after wearing for 1 month. BAD, BAD, BAD. Bring back the harrington 1 sole. Will never buy another pair.

The shoes hurt my feet so bad. I am diabetic and the previous shoes that were this model fit like a glove and were comfortable right out of the box. They should not have changed these.

I purchased a pair of the new Harringtons II shoes and am very disappointed in the quality of the soles. I have only had them for a few months and they have significant wear on them. I have worn Harrington for years but the previous soles were far superior to these and showed little to know wear after years of use.

I've only had the shoes for a little over a month and the tredd on the shoes are gone. I'm slipping and sliding all over my place of work. I decided try these shoes because I was unable to order the shoes I usually buy from Sketchers. I am highly disappointed with the shoes and would not be purchasing shoes from you guys again.

I've owned six pairs of these shoes. I'm in need of a new pair finding myself searching for old stock because you choose to change the tread pattern. The old style with the yellow strips were perfect. They didn't get gunked up and turn slick. Easy to clean at the end of the night. Bring back the tx tread! #cheflivesmatter

I have bought 3 pairs of Harrington blacks, and unfortunately, the newest pair has a different outsole that is significantly less comfortable. The easiest way to tell if its the old design or the new design, is that the old design had yellow parts on the outsole and the new design is only black. Additionally the new design can be described a a grid of squares. I have attached a photo of the two designs.
I do a lot of squatting at my job and end up putting my weight onto the "ball" section of my feet, and the new pair manages to be less comfortable them the worn out old pair that I replaced.
What is perhaps most infuriating about this is that the new design and old design are the same product. I have the box from the old pair and it has the same UPC and model number as the box from the new pair. What this means is that when I was looking for a new pair, I had to open every box and check the bottoms because there are still some pairs out there on the shelves that have the good design. Unfortunately all of them were in sizes that were way too big.
My only complaint about the old design is that the laces have a tendency to wear out before the soles do.

I am writing this review after giving the shoe 3 separate chances after the quality started to drop as they have been some of the more comfortable work shoes out there. The first pair after 8 years of buying them to go down hill had the sole start to fall off in 2 weeks. The pair I received for an exchange had the metal button fall out for the laces. Unhappy and hoping it was a bat lot of shoes I was getting in my area I gave it 4 months before purchasing the next pair. I am now 30 days in and the soles are again falling off. This issue needs to be corrected if you want to keep people happy. The shoes themselves are very comfortable, like walking on clouds but the need to purchase a new pair every few weeks far outweighs the comfort factor that they offer.

Been loyal for years for quality and durabilty. New soles are poorly glued and fall off in a few weeks. I want my money back or a pair of old design!
