I’ve tried a few different brands of STB over the last few years; Red Wing (ugh) and the cheap Caterpillar and AdTec. Decided to try something different, so I ordered the Carolina 6” composite toe version. What an immediate difference! The removable EVA foot bed gives the boot so much cushion. It’s very comfortable to wear these all day, my feet felt like the boots were made for them. Satisfied from day one and no break in required IMO. I ordered a size larger than usual and I’m glad I did, they fit perfectly that way. If these continue to perform as they have for the last few weeks, I’ll be getting another pair in one year.

I picked these waterproof EH-rated boots because I work in wet areas with 440V electrical cables laying on the floor. The boots arrived in 5 days, and I like their rugged, classic look. They feel solid and durable. The fit was really good from the beginning. Although they were stiff like most new boots, they did not cause any discomfort. I wore them on a recent trip to Wisconsin. I like to travel without checked baggage, so I wore the boots on the plane, in the rental car, when I went to eat, and at the customer's work site. No problems for me on this trip. I also walked through snow for several 15 minutes stretches, the boots kept my feet nice and dry. I only had them for a couple weeks so I can't comment on their long term durability, but I think I'll get years of good use out of them. Very pleased with this purchase!

This is my husband's second pair of these boots; he loves them. With his job, he is up and about most of the day, out in all types of weather, in positions where his feet are supporting his weight. These boots hold up to the tasks, and bonus, keep his feet dry. Do need to be broken in.

As a line maintenance worker I was going for the waterproof and comfort aspect of this boot. While not being able to experience the waterproof effectiveness I did however come to realize that after a solid 10 days of use, this pair of boots seem to not be broken in . and still hurts my feet. the level of comfort is not there and I cannot go a year (about the time frame my last pair stood up) in these. Also I have to wear 2 pairs of socks to stop the upper ankle support from rubbing hard against my upper ankle. They have really good grip I could say that.

So far, so good. They are a little kludgier in person that I was expecting, but then again they are work boots, so style isn't a deal breaker. Love the light weight of composite toe, probably never going to buy another steel toe again. I haven't fully broken them in yet, but the only discomfort I've noticed is with how the tongue tends to rub against my ankles. I'm hoping that will work itself out, otherwise they are fine for the money.

I wear these boots 5 days a week for about 13 hours n I couldn’t ask for a better fitting comfortable pair of boots! Very satisfied

I've worn these for a full year with no issues, when I first bought them I didn't even need to break them in. usually by the time a full year rolls around my boots are in dire need of replacement and my feet are hurting. These boots have held up amazingly and I'll be buying them again

They are very comfortable

they fit great, first couple days were rough to break in and get used to a boot, as I only used safety shoes Previously. I wish the front would have a stronger material or be more anti scratch because thats my only complaint being a mechanic.

Because of the reinforced toe, I had to return the first pair and get a half size larger. New boots feel fine, I would say order half size larger than normal.

Great fitting boot. Excellent arch support. Comfortable to wear for 12 hours at work.

I usually wear a 10.5 size 4E I bought a half size larger size 11 Ex-wide no issues breaking them in felt good from the start very happy so far

Fit and size were good. Wasn't as heavy as I expected the composite toe to be.
