I have had Carolina work boots before and they were great. These I just couldnt get used to and they were very uncomfortable.

Overall good shoes! But it didn’t last long and it started opening here and there after few months of wearing!

1-year use. Break in period was rough, but after that hump, these shoes are pretty good on my feet for standing in all day for 10-hour days with no soreness in my feet whatsoever. (with after-market insole) As for walking in them not so much, they rub against my heel which causes pain after a full day of walking in them. Don't normally walk in these shoes but for me, they aren't made for walking. Maybe a half-size smaller would have solved that. Other than the heel issue, these shoes have been great for what I use them for which is standing in one place for long periods. My feet could go another 10 hours in these boots at the end of my shift.

Is not totally Walterproof and I need ones no enter water.

Very sturdy boot, very heavy boots.

The steal toe on the right was not put in correctly it hurts my toe!

I compared this boot to 6 others, and this was a disappointment. The dark brown leather looks nice, but it looks like it would scratch easily. The overall build quality looks durable. The oddity was the boxy fit, like I stuck my foot in a rectangular kleenex tissue box. That was with a half size larger than I would normally take, but my size of 9.5 was too snug. Perhaps this model of boot requires a significant break in period to condition the materials around a foot for a proper fit? None of the 7 boots I tried had appreciable arch support, including this boot.

From the moment I got it the metal part was pointed down and hurt my feet on the toe box

The width and length fit well, however, the side flaps of the tongue (where the leather and fabric are stitched together hurt the inside of my ankles really badly.

Size was spot on, but not enough support in arch. I will have to return the shoes.

Nice style boots. But not for me. They hurt my feet even when trying an orthotic insert.

Crappy boot, ordered them in March and already have to replace them. Bottom is cracking and worn out. Avoid

Width still tight I wish your product got wider width. That’s the issue width, length it was okay.

Terrible Shoe. Loose fitting at above the ankle. Lining of shoe very thin (minimal). For the right shoe, lining at toe cap was coming lose and rubbing against my toe after only one day of wearing shoe. Outer material of shoe (leather) was good but inside shoe, lining not comfortable. Also not enough cushion/inside shoe.

I’ve gone with Rocky before and thought I’d give these a try. When I got them, they were ok looking, and had a pretty good footbed. I noticed that the inner fabric of the shoe, however, was very poorly constructed. Due to that, I will be returning these shoes because there are uneven ridges from the fabric that are causing my toes to be rubbed raw. I wore them for a day at work (10hr shift) and they were great for support, but very poor with construction. I don’t doubt the waterproofing abilities, or the performance of the shoe, but in my opinion, the inside of the shoe is the most important because that’s where your foot will be all day, and this company gets a “0” on the score board for attention to detail. Not worth the headache. Likewise, I’ve had the Keen Utility hightop for around 1 year and from day 1 I haven’t had any issues. Still going strong being worn every day, 11 hours each day, for about 300 days out of the year. Tread is still great and super comfortable.

Only a very small portion is leather the rest is cheap quality and a glued on sole.

Ordered size recommended per suggested but to wide and heavy. Do not like the boots but not use to wearing working boots.

I purchased a pair of Carolina steel toed boots 4yrs ago. They were made in the USA and they fit perfect, no brake in period at all. So I decided to get another pair, however not the same exact pair. These new boots are the same size and width, safety toe(composite not steel), composite leather and made in China. When I tried them on and wore them around the house they fit good, but I could tell they needed to be broken in. So I wore them for three 12hr shifts. I had blisters on my feet. On the right boot just below the outside ankle it has a piece of plastic to keep the heel stiff and there is not enough padding, so my ankle rubs on the top edge of the plastic. Also I am not sure if the composite safety toe is thicker than a real steel toe, but my toes rub on the edge of the safety toe. So now i have been wearing thick socks for extra padding, which does help, but these boots don't breathe very well and my feet are getting too moist.

The shoes hurt really bad over the top of the foot , also they are very heavy over time .
