Very cute flat, goes with everything! Looks great with skinny jeans, capris, skirts, you name it! Perfect for channeling the Audrey Hepburn in you. Not much cushioning or arch support so not great for lots of walking. Some pinching on the heel, but I expect that to go away as I wear them more.

These flats are great because they don't show tow cleavage and they are able to be dressed up or dressed down with brown or black outfits. The only problem is that the elastic is pretty uncomfortable on the ankle area.

I actually purchased Emmie flats in another color at another retailer half a size smaller than what I normally wear (6½ vs my normal size 7), and in dark pink leather. I loved them so much when I saw them on sale at Zappos in black, I had to get them! Unfortunately, I found the black leather to be a bit lacking. The quality of the leather is not as good as the dark pink, as it seems to be lighter and of poorer and cheaper quality. There is noticeable crinkling and I fear, eventual cracking of the leather, which I did not experience with my pink Emmie flats. I do find that the size 7 fits a lot better on my feet. My feet are a little bit wide but, they fit beautifully. I am still keeping them though because basic, comfortable, flexible black flats are hard to come by and I will see how these wear down since I do a lot of walking, and my pink ones are still holding up beautifully. Perhaps this is only an issue with the black leather.

I've been wearing these a lot (mostly with no show socks) since they arrived, and they are very comfortable. They seem to be well made.

I ordered these about a month ago, and I am generally very happy with them -- love the style of the heel -- the way it comes up higher and makes the shoe feel more secure than a lot of flats. It did take a little while to break them in (which I usually don't tolerate in new shoes), but I wanted to like these shoes, so I persisted, and now they are very comfortable. I am disappointed to sign on to Zappos today and find that they now sell for less than I paid. So other than that, I am satisfied with the Emmie.

Ive had them for a few weeks now, I am still trying to wear them in. They hurt after a few hours in them, and I heard you need to give them time, so I am hoping I can get to that point. They look exactly as pictured, and the size is exact. So far so good.

Great neutral color with just a little sheen to make them perfect for any occasion. I wear a size 6, ordered a size 6 and they felt great. I've worn them a couple of times. Very comfortable. I ended up getting blisters on the backs of my feet, but I tend to get blisters from any type of shoe there. Once they break in, I'm sure they'll be fine. These are my go-to neutral flats for spring/ summer.

I usually wear an 8.5 in flats (i.e. Puma flats), occasionally an 8. I ordered a 9 in this - it's a hair big, but not so big that I'm falling out of them. I decided to keep them and gave them their first test run today. Given that I have a slightly wide food, I like the extra room, and I think it prevented the heel from rubbing, a problem I have with almost all shoes. Not a ton of cushioning in this (I'm spoiled by my Puma's), so I'm added a Dr. Scholl's insert to see if it helps with the comfort. Got the bronze-ish color and love it! Neutral, but not boring.

Very cute. Basic, and go with everything but have some style to them. I would say they are comfortable but not very comfortable. I wouldn't want to wear them for a day of walking around a city, for example. They cut into my heel a little bit. But they're comfortable enough for a few hours without a whole lot of walking, and they look good.

Really cute flat, but not very comfortable. This shoe has an odd little round heel, the front edge of which hit me about mid-heel. I felt like I was walking on a rock. I did get used to it after wearing them around my house, but my feet were so much happier when I took them off! Also, the leather is disappointingly stiff, rather than buttery soft, like it appeared to me in the picture. Leather lining is a plus. The outer edge of this shoe as it went toward my ankle gapped. I have long toes, and ballet flats usually show an unattractive length of toe cleavage. These shoes did not have that problem. So...close, but no cigar! Back to you, Zappos! But I'm not giving up.

I'm generally a 8.5 but I ordered a half size up because I've heard they run small. I'm glad I did because the 9 fits perfect. These are the most comfortable flats I've ever had as well.

Very comfortable almost like wearing slippers but leather is really thin and shows any bumps from toes. The fit is a little large everywhere. I would like to have had a 10.5 but it didn't come in that size.

Very cute. The back rubs so if i wore them for a long time I think I'd get a blister. Overall cute for a night out.

I have these shoes in black...by the way I paid less for them at Marshalls. They are cute...not so comfortable to me because the back of them kept rubbing my heel. I bought a little gel comfort sticky thing from Walmart and that made a huge difference. I would say if you have sensitive skin to order a half size up so that you can put a comfort liner on the back to keep from getting a blister.

I was eying up these shoes for a couple days; they were just what I was looking for and were also on sale. I had them up on a tab at work and all of a sudden they were full price again! Burn. I love Zappos, but I found them for the sale price at an online competitor and got them there. You can have the best customer service on the planet but it doesn't trump the best price. Forgive me Zappos!

I went half a size bigger but for some reason I felt I need to go a full size bigger. They seemed fine when I first put them on but after awhile they killed me. But they are cute, easy to pack. I would like to see a dark brown.

I love these shoes! The size I ordered fits me perfectly, and the color is great. The back of the shoe is a little uncomfortable, but I think that happens with all flats, and I just need to wear them in a bit. I definitely will be ordering these in other colors!

These shoes are gorgeous. They are made from rich, buttery leather with a very cute style. I wore them for the first time yesterday, which is my long day at school (12 hours). They were very comfortable. However, I was disappointed to see that they are already scuffed on the toe. The most hiking I do at school is slugging my way through a parking lot. Shoes at this price should be a bit more durable. Oh well. Zappos, as always, is phenomenal.

These shows are comfortable as far as flats go. I personally like flats that are elastic on the sides so that way the shoe moves with your foot; way less break in time. The only flaw I found, was that there is a seam right on the back where your Achilles would be, and it bunches up a bit in the back. Also, there are some dents in the leather from shipment. Nothing major, but noticeable to anyone who was paying close attention to my feet. They look good though, I would buy another pair.

Love the color, they fit well, true to size, not exactly comfortable, but do not plan to travel far in them.

These are very cute and comfy but have little support. I had to order a 10 and I normally wear a 9.5.

I have been wearing these flats for about three months and, considering the amount of walking I do, I am impressed at how well the heel part of the sole has held up. I found that they run a bit small but I kept my regular size 9.5 because I hoped they would stretch a little. They have stretched a bit, but sometimes the elastic becomes bothersome (cuts into the back of my foot) if I wear them for an entire day without removing them. Still, not a bad purchase.

I wanted a basic pair of ballet flats, not too ballet, not too "flats". These work well. The first time I wore them was at work as a server, and they made it through 6 hours of the 9 hour shift. Not bad for a shoe with no arch support or cushioning (I work on hardwood floors). The elastic around the heel is noticeable but not painful, the size seems on the small side of true (I'm a 9, and my toes are cuddled together, but not cramped.)

Basic but well-made, with a leather lining. The round heel feels no different than any other flat heel. They run a little snug but loosen up nicely with a few wearings.

Pretty pleased with the shoes so far. The leather is soft and these will be easy to pack for travel. They are still a little tight, but I bet they will soften and stretch the more I wear them.
