Where do I begin to sing the praises of these shoes? I have issues like achilles tendinitis and plantar fascitis. I'm not comfortable in any walking shoes (like sneakers) that put pressure on my instep. I live in clogs and sandals most of the time but they aren't very suitable for walking. I just returned from a trip to Prague and Italy where the streets and sidewalks are made of cobblestone and are difficult to navigate. These Earth Maui's, recommended by one of Zappo's fabulous shoe experts, provided comfort, support and the stability I needed to conquer those cobblestones. On two consecutive days I walked 5 miles through the alleyways of Venice. Sure, I had to rest now and then but I never could have done it without these amazing shoes. After 30 days they in need of "refreshing". I tossed them in the washer on gentle cycle, removed them before the final spin,and put them in the sun to dry. They are fresh, clean and look as good as new. I immediately ordered a backup pair that I'm saving for my next big walking adventure.

Although these are a medium width, they fit my narrow feet well due to all the adjustment. Now, I had to adjust them to the furthest possible positions in all three places, but they still look great (which not all shoes do when adjusted that much. EXCELLENT arch support, and super cute. This is definitely a keeper!

I have high arches and have historically bought Orthaheel sandals. I just grew super tired of the Orthaheel Vionics - the company seems to be "trying too hard" to make people with foot problems uber stylish. They never offer anything in real leather, and it seems like EVERYTHING they make is "flashy". No, I don't want every pair of sandals I own to look like alligator or snake skin! I'm a 48 year old woman who is mindful of fashion and I have foot problems, but I just want a good-quality simple brown leather sandal already. And low and behold I discovered these beauties :). They are extremely comfortable and offer great support. They seem to be of good quality and they are a nice neutral color that I can wear with pretty much anything in my closet. These are just what Dr. Weil (sorry Orthaheels!) did NOT order, lol! I still have a few pairs of Vionics and they are cute and comfortable, but for the money, these are a much more timeless and better quality option.

pretty sandal. You wouldn't even know it is a "comfort" shoe. If you have high arches this is your sandal. It has three points where you can adjust to fit and that is helpful for hard to fit feet.

Wore them to the ReggaeFestival, which include over seven miles of walking to and from the event. My feet never hurt, my legs felt great, and more importantly I woke up the next day without my lower back bothering me at all. Amazing shoes. By the way, i Have relatively flat feet and the arch support was perfect for me. Not too high.

I don't know how anyone else could wear these as the height of the footbed where your arch goes was so high that i took two steps and ouch! The part of your foot that doesn't actually touch the ground when you walk was being dug into by the footbed. It's an ok looking sandal, a little more interesting than some, but nothing to cheer about.

I loved the way these shoes looked the minute I put them on, and additionally, I don't remember having a shoe that gave my high arch so much support. However, I felt the metal ring above and between my big toe and the one next to it immediately too, and thought, "no, that part is going to rub and/or give me a blister." But since I liked them so much, and wanted to be able to keep them, I decided to wear them around the house and see what would happen. After wearing them for a while, the metal part didn't affect my feet, and the shoes were ultra comfortable. I have narrow feet and the velcro allows me to tighten the shoes to fit. I'm still not sure if I'm keeping them -- I need to walk around the house a little more. Thanks, Zappo. I have been a dedicated customer for many years for the policies that allow me to know that when I buy a shoe, it's going to fit and be the style I want.

When I saw others complain about the arch support being too high and/or hard, I knew I had to check these sandals out. I have very high arches and have previously found the support I need only in Vionics. I ordered the blue, but may very well get at least one of the other colors also. These feel great, and are more attractive than most of my Vionics.

I have bought two pairs of these wonderful sandals. I have bad bunions and worse hammer toes which makes buying sandals very difficult - the straps in the front are always too tight (and I can't tolerate straps between my toes). But with these sandals, because of the velcro fastener across the front, I am able to keep the front loose enough to accommodate my bunions and hammer toes. And because the color of the velcro matches the leather color, it's not a problem that velcro on the bottom of the strap ends up showing. I keep the back most strap tight enough to hold the sandal on me, so keeping the front so loose isn't a problem. They are supportive for walking in. And they aren't too big and bulky looking, which is often what I end up with to accommodate my foot problems.

These are the most comfortable sandals I have ever had. Looks good with any outfit. True to size & width & great arch support!

This is the second pair of Earth Maui shoes I've ordered in the last month. The first pair was in brown and they were so comfortable, I ordered another pair in blue. I had back surgery and have some resulting numbness in my feet and these shoes are wonderful. They feel very secure and I wear either the brown or blue shoes almost daily. I wish they came in red!

Very comfortable from the moment they came out of the box. They have enough flair to not look like a “comfort shoe,” but provided enough support that I was able to wear them while recovering from a minor foot injury. Will try other shoes from this brand.

I need a shoe with arch support as have had plantar factitis in the past. Used to buy Orthoheel/Vionic but think their quality has gone down. Love othese sandals. Love the style and comfort of them. Will look at other Earth shoes in the future. It is not that easy to find shoes with an arch support in a sandal. thank you Zappos!

While these are comfortable for all day walking, I personally don't find them very pretty. That said, they have no heel, come in a nude color, have good arch support, and fit my C width wide feet, what more can I say?

Well made and very comfortable right out of the box. Earth brand is very consitent in their sizing, so the sandals felt true to size and width. Excellent that you are able to adjust all straps to fit to perfection. Very cute details on the side. Highly recommended!

So happy with this shoe: incredibly comfortable, easy to put on, feels like walking on air (literally.) Did I mention that it's one of the best looking "comfort sandals" I own? I can't stop looking at it in the mirror when I put it on. The shoe does not look like an "orthopedic" style of sandal. PDQ purchased the Indigo Blue Soft Burnished Leather once I tried on the Copper Metallic shoe (thank you Zappos for next day ship.) I generally wear a 7-7/12 M (6 1/2 M in a boot) in sandals and shoes and the fit was spot on. I may even purchase the Sand Brown Soft Leather as they're just what I was looking for i.e., comfort, casual, work or evening on a date night. The only con, I wish there were more colors to choose from...

This is a very comfortable shoe, with good support. I could wear them all day the first day with no problems. I bought them in both black and blue. I used to exclusively wear Vionics but them seem to have changed and this brand is now what I prefer.

Very cute, and super-adjustable. Metallic leather a nice soft beigey-bronze; goes wth everything! Quite pleased and may buy in blue also!

These sandals are so very beautiful! I love the style. All the straps are adjustable which makes them perfect, except for one thing - the negative heal of Earth Shoes. The arch felt too high. My last experience with Earth Shoes was unpleasant in that my toes fell asleep! If it weren't for that, I'd keep these sandals.

Nearly perfect! The adjustability is great--these can be adjusted in four places. They're also super cute and seem really well made. Sadly, I had to return them; the arches were simply too high. These would be perfect for anyone with high arches! They're true to size.

They were a very pretty sandal and fit very well BUT were very uncomfortable for me. I have fairly flat feet and the arch support was a bit too much for me. Also in the arch portion of the sandal was very uncomfortable because the lining did not go all the way to the edge of the shoe and therefore rubbed on the bottom of my foot making walking very uncomfortable. The arch support area almost felt “sharp” and was very painful. I really can’t understand all the glowing reviews. Sent them back.

It is a particular kind of fit, the foot feels more than flat on the ground it feels almost tilted upwards. That is the Earth shoe. It does not work for me, it feels uncomfortable and I am fearful it can stress muscles that are not used to this position. As for looks, highly orthopedic "old lady" look (am an older lady myself, but feel these are not very cute, especially on a big foot). Even so, given the hard times to find a decent walking sandal, I would have kept them as the foot bed is very comfy, but not that weird tilt. Not for me.
