These were surprisingly uncomfortable. After all the positive reviews, I was pretty disappointed and will be returning these. There’s something weird about the edges of the footbed; they stick up and rub in all the wrong places. Not sure what the deal is because I like the look. That said, I love my Taos Prize 3 sandals and don’t know why they should feel so different. But thumbs down on these.

I love these sandals. I could wear them all day, they are very comfortable. Nice padded footbed.

I wore out my old pair of Taos Carousel so this is my second purchase: Stylish and comfortable. I have pain in my left heel and these sandals cut way down on the pain and I can walk & shop with ease:

I love them. So simple and classy without being too dressy. Comfortable foot bed, great arch support. Nice color, very versatile. I walked 3 miles with these and had no issues. I am a fan of the velcro closures and the soft leather. Worth the $$. I will get another pair for sure.

I own three colors of this style and its slight variations. It is pretty and stylish and very nice on the foot. It dresses up an outfit. It is a bit high for a walking shoe, but it is that comfortable and feels very well made. Both straps are attached by a substantial patch of Velcro so it's easy to get a good fit every time. If your feet tend to swell in the summer, this shoe is very forgiving.

I love this brand. I read the description and also read it on other sites and I thought the heel was gong to be shorter than it was. It was an easy 3", maybe more. Too tall for this tall girl!

They are high quality but unfortunately did not fit my foot. I have narrow flat feet. The arch bothered me a bit. The leather is nice I just felt like it was a little too chunky of a strap. I have skinny ankles but I felt like I had cankles wearing these. A bit frumpy I guess. I didn't feel sexy. Too expensive for just comfort. They are very comfortable. The velcro strap is nice for a different fit. The leather is high quality. The red is gorgeous.

I liked them, but they were slightly to high for me...and i would have needed to put an arch cushion in them...

I love these shoes. Two of my friends have them and I was so happy I found them on Zappos.

I love this shoe and have pairs in multiple colors. I now hate to wear any other heel. They are extremely stylish. The buttons are stunning. Strangers compliment the shoes frequently. (The other day a random man said ‘Nice shoes”). The open toe and the Velcro assures you don’t get that pinched feeling heels can cause. That said, the arch isn’t perfect for me. I’ve found that adding Superfeet 1/2 innersoles ( for heels) adds to the comfort level quite a bit. Wearing the innersoles is a bit tricky (since these are sandals!) but it’s a great hack. I really love these shoes. ( If anyone knows what the difference between the Carousel and the Carousel 2 is, please let me know!)

This is my third pair of these - they are the most comfortable and stylish sandal I own. I get compliments every time I wear them. While they are a bit more expensive, the are worth it for the comfort, style and ability to dress up or down. I've had my other pair for about 3 years and they still look new. You will not be disappointed.

LOVE THESE SHOES!!! So comfortable and I love the big brass button! I would order if more colors if my size was available!

I have this shoe in two colors -- the first pair I purchased was black and I joked when I wore them to my 35th high school reunion that I had the best orthopedic shoes to pass as real shoes -- lol. These shoes are orthopedically sound but also sexy as hell. I bought these silver/gold pair for a high school graduation (full circle.) They are so beautiful and coincidentally comfortable and orthopedically sound. I appreciate that they are also adjustable with velcro -- swelling happens.

These are super cute and I think comfy. However, they fit EXACTLY to my feet in the morning and feel like by the end of day mavbe not. I am going to try the next size up to see.

I ordered the 38 first due to many reviews that noted the shoe a little short. I am a true 39. Returned the 38 for 39 and it fits perfectly. The velcro straps make it very adjustable width wise. The platform makes the shoe comfortable while still adding height. Champagne is beautiful. I expected a bit more of a golden color however it is more copper. Still very neutral to wear with any color.

Super cute! They seemed a little big at first, I wear a size 7 and ordered a 38. They are however adjustable because of the velcro closures and now they fit perfect!

Taos Carousel 2 is a gorgeous wedge sandal! I love being able to adjust how it fits around my ankles as well as adjust the strap that comes across the lower part of the foot. The color offerings that Taos chose are great! I particularly like the silver, charcoal croc embossed, champagne croc embossed and the stone floral. There are just so many choices and the gold and silver medallions are stunning!

Taos Carousel 2 is truly a "comfort" shoe that is oh so stylish! The decorative medallions are gorgeous.

Oh my goodness! These are just the coolest looking shoes! I ordered silver, and I'm not sure that's what I'd call it--more of a dusty platinum, I'd say. But rather spectacular. Looked great with my ankle jeans when I tried them on, but would also dress up very nicely. Five stars!

Rarely do I find sandals with straps around the ankle that actually feel comfortable after wearing for hours. The Carousel 2 with velcro on the adjustable straps addressed my issues and also kept my heel solidly in the shoe - no slipping around. They have a padded footbed and extremely soft leather lining which have made wearing them a pleasure. In the warm (hot) summer months my right foot and ankle swell which is not that unusual for many people. But the extent of the swelling has prevented me from wearing sandals with stiff or fixed straps. These Taos shoes are a godsend because of the velcro - they are so easy to adjust when necessary. I have enjoyed wearing these with casual and date night outfits so much that I have purchased two pairs so far. I recommend them highly.
