Classy sandle. It will be perfect for travel.

I love these shoes, they are very comfortable. I wore them on long walks in Hawaii and had no issues. Soft footbed, I'm 5'9" so I was worried about being too tall, they don't feel as high as they are. Great shoes.

Loved the shoe, but you could tell it had already been worn by someone else. Yuk!

I found Taos brand last year and fell in love with my boots. I have been trying to find the perfect sandals for my son's garden wedding. The style on these was perfect, and the other Taos shoes that I have tried have a footbed that is perfect with great arch support. This style is different...the footbed scoops up on the sides and, on my Princess-and-the-Pea cranky feet, the inside edge under the arch feels like it is cutting into my foot. Dang! I liked the looks of these best. If they'd combine the footbed of the Julia with the rest of this shoe, I'd have perfect. Back they went, but they are well made and for one acquaintance she wears these ALL the time and loves them. They dress up or dress down...dang!

I love these sandals! They are so comfortable and go with everything. The straps are completely adjustable for a customized fit.

These shoes are beautiful and incredibly comfortable. I purchased the graphite and am going to buy the taupe. These are definitely my favorite sandals this year!

Stylish shoe with lots of comfort!

If you’re looking for an Aetrex vs Taos comparison, I have one to share. As a longtime Aetrex wearer, I love all the styles, comfort, and support. However, the Taos at my local orthocare shop caught my attention and I decided to try them out. I’ve bought two pairs so far (Carousel 2 and Sheila) and I’ve compared the Taos Carousel 2 to the Aetrex Livia (photos below). The Taos is very stylish and on the first wear I immediately noticed the soft feel of the foot bed lining as well as the soft and supple feel of the straps - unlike Aetrex which feels more synthetic. The toe straps of the Taos fit perfectly above the bunyan area of my foot and the size fits exactly the same as my Aetrex size (39 in my case). I absolutely love the overall look of the Taos and can definitely see and feel the quality of the shoe. I do have to say however, that I feel the Aetrex offers more prominent arch support and is a bit wider, which in my case is necessary for somewhat of a wide foot (heel is average but my foot goes wider towards the top). Even though the Taos foot bed liner is a soft suede, it doesn’t feel as cushioned as the Aetrex. If I needed to be on my feet all day long, I’d choose a pair of Aetrex but if I wanted super cute, stylish (and still comfortable) shoes to wear for a few hours then I’d choose a pair of Taos. Overall I’ve given 4 stars based primarily on the comfort, width, and arch support that I personally need. However, I will continue to purchase from the Taos collection because they’re just too cute to pass up!

These are cute and versatile sandals. They are comfortable and supportive enough to wear for hours at a time. Unfortunately for me, I am in between sizes in Taos sandals. I bought the recommended size 37 in this style a couple years ago and they were too big. I saw these again recently and thought I would give them a try in the 36. I am size 7 in nearly every shoe I buy, and Taos, as well as most other European-sized shoes, just don’t fit me.

Beautiful shoe. did not have sufficient arch support for me. Size 39 recommended, but really needed a 40. would have ordered, but as mentioned, did not have sufficient arch support

I am sending these shoes back because I think they are probably 1/2 size to long. I think I should order a size down to see how they are.

Really liked the look of the shoe but was too loose on my ankle. Make it slip on my foot.

Beautiful shoes, but the straps are "long" to "too long". My feet are on the wide side of normal width; ankles are on definitely on the large size of normal. Had my local shoe shop shorten the ankle straps - worth the money.

I love Taos shoes and have several pairs in size 39. I had to order up a size in these shoes because the foot bed was quite narrow and I could feel the ridge of the foot lining under the edge of my feet. The 40 foot bed felt great, but the Velcro straps are too large. I have them tightened as much as I can but would prefer them to be a bit more snug (and for the metal button decoration to be lined up slightly better. I have a very narrow foot and ankle and while I recommend that’s shoes, I do think they would fit best on someone with wider ankles.

These were okay for style and comfort but my ankles are too small to be able to secure the back strap so that the shoes do not flop around. I wear a 5.5 B. The footbed is soft like suede, but my caution is that hot weather like here in Texas may cause your feet to perspire. I returned them.

I have lots of Taos sandals in a 41 but in this style should have gotten a 40. Turned out they didn't go with the dress anyway... so don't know for sure that the 40 would have done the trick.

Would have loved these sandals except the sizing was a bit big. My toes barely showed past the strap (I'm a true size 6 and the sizing for these was 6-6.5). The footbed felt great but after wearing them around the house for just a few minutes, the strap under my ankle was starting to rub. Sent them back. :(

Comfortable sandals that work well for work or a night out. The straps are adjustable so they can fit just how you want them. The first day I wore these I was on my feet all day and did a lot of walking. No pain or blisters, very comfortable and supportive.

Wanted to love but the ankle strap is too wide to be comfortable. Off the sandals look great-just don’t work for me.

I love this shoe as far as looks and comfort, however the heel is just a little to high for me. This is only because I wear flats all the time (I'm 67). Sadly, I'm going to return them. They look great with a dress (a longer dress, in my opinion) or a nice pair of slacks or jeans. This shoe will probably work for most people, just not for me. They are very comfortable. I have a narrow heel and the shoe fit fine, it is just the heel height, that won't work for me. Please don't let my review discourage you from this shoe.

My feet have been a 7M for decades, but now all medium shoes are much wider than in the past. I tried the Carousel 2 in black, size 38. They have a wonderfully soft & flexible footbed and sturdy heel. The silver buttons are classy. But the heavy straps did not look good adjusted to a narrower fit for my foot. Very sad to return these; still looking for a nice pair of comfy summer sandals with a bit of a heel.

Overall this is a great looking, comfortable sandal. The color is as pictured and the footbed is VERY soft and comfortable. I really liked the Velcro straps. It made for easy adjustments and a comfortable feel. However, the heel strap is not adjustable. This is the only reason I returned these shoes. I have a narrow heel and these sandals didn’t even touch my heels. I love everything about this shoe, except the lack of an adjustable heel strap.

These are adorable but not comfortable enough for all day wearing and walking. I sent them back as I'm looking for a sandal I can wear nearly every day, all day.
