I've been a Skechers fan for years. I'm a bigger guy and find that these shoes really hold up over time. I still have a pair of sneakers I use all the time that I purchased back in 2010 or so. That is a huge deal for me because most shoes tend to fall apart or wear out after just about a year of my wearing them. Skechers is among a few brands that stand up over time and don't break the bank when you buy them. That being said, I have wide flat feet and wear size 13 as well. Most shoes that claim to be wide fit, aren't - not for me anyway. Skechers again, is the only brand that has wide and FEELS wide. These shoes are absolutely awesome. I use them for casual wear. Out to a restaurant, mall, movies, etc. They fit great, feel great, are light and don't have laces to deal with. For anything less than hiking or trekking around in water and rough paths, I'd recommend these guys. First of all, the back is cushioned and I don't feel the back of the shoe rubbing on my achilles area, the shoes slips on easily but never feels like it will fall off accidentally. It feels true to size to me, I have a little space at the toe and the sides are wide so again, it doesn't feel like my feet are in a vice. Finally, the foam is for real. It's not some gimmick. It really does feel more comfortable than whatever is normally used in shoes. I haven't put the shoes through any hardships, yet. They have been on tile, dry walk, pavement and roadways since I got them. I'm thinking if I can help it, I'll keep it that way, as I want to keep them for as long as possible. I don't know how tough they are supposed to be, but the quality make seems great. I'm also considering getting another pair in another color sometime soon, that's how much I love em!

I tend to wear these shoes when my feet are tire and I just want to relax. These shoes completely fit the bill. A totally grat shoe.
