The shoe was too long and too wide for my foot. Consider a smaller size than normal. I personally couldn't try a smaller size because they didn't have it in stock.

I love this loafer. Because of the print which is only coating, I have already nicked the toe. Bummer.

Wanted these shoes from the moment I saw them! Beautiful fabric, very comfortable, love that they have half sizes beyond a 9. Gave 4 stars because I think the sole on these loafers could be more sturdy, thicker. The sole is very flexible which will probably lead to tired feet by the end of the day.

Love the simple and classy look of these loafers. I like the simplicity of the decorative hardware which adds a nice touch of contrast. I ordered an 8.5 in black and it fits perfectly. It is comfortable and I wear it nearly everyday. The only thing that kept me from giving it 5 stars is that the cushion for one's soles would be better if it was a bit more padded.

Comfortable but run about a size larger. I'm usually between a 5 and 5.5, sometimes even a 6 and the 5 was huge on me. Purchased 4.5 and they fit well. They do run a smidge narrow fyi.

Beautiful shoe and great quality but sadly had to return. I had tried my normal size in a store and my heel was slipping out so I ordered a half size smaller. The smaller pair were too tight. I wish it could've worked out.

I bought the Loraine Bit Loafer in Raspberry Velvet. The color is truly unique and gorgeous. However, as for fit, I should have listened to other reviewers about what size to order. I normally wear an 8.5 wide, so that's the size I ordered. The width was fine but it was entirely too long. After reading the reviews, it seemed like returning it for a 1/2 size smaller (8 wide) would work. So that's what I did. Still too long! The shoe still slips up and down as I walk. I guess I should return it and try a 7.5 wide, but I just want to wear the silly things and not keep sending stuff back in the mail. Instead I'm going to use insoles to take up some room and/or add heel pads. Other than the problems with fit, it is a gorgeous shoe and, at least initially, seems to be well made. I hope the added insole and padding will make it more snug. Also, others have noted NOT to go a 1/2 size or a full size down if you have high arches. I have high arches and I still needed the smaller size. YMMV.

I ordered an 8.5 wide and absolutely loved them and while the width was perfect, they were too big. Order a half size down if ordering a wide size.

I originally ordered an 8W (my normal size). When I received them they had about a finger-width gap between the back of the shoe and my heel. I made the decision to get a 7W, and the shoe length is much closer to my size. I don't know that I would say these are a true wide. I assume Sam Edelman shoes run fairly narrow, and I would say the wide width probably puts the shoe at a medium width. Overall, I like the style and am willing to compromise on the width, as I know the leather will likely stretch out. If you have an average/slightly wide or narrow foot, I would recommend. If you have really wide foot, pass on these.

These are pretty cute. I ordered the Raspberry velvet and should have heeded the advice to size down a half size.

A timeless, sophisticated loafer. So much more comfortable than I thought they would be! I tried wearing the no show socks and although they were comfortable, the heel part kept pulling down. So when I wore them without socks, my feet made fart sounds when I walked bc the air lol. Other than that I have no complaints! I went up 1/2 a size and I'm so glad I did
