I’m usually a 9.5 in San Edelman ballet flats, but in these I am a 9. They are very comfortable and classic! So far I’ve purchased the black and the nude and love them both!

I bought the black/white/pink plaid. It is a beautiful shoe that runs true to size and is just a classic loafer. It is comfortable right out of the box and will look great with pants, skirts and jeans. Sam Edelman makes a great loafer.

I love these shoes. Stylish, comfortable. There’s nothing bad to say. I would wear them everyday.

Ordered my usual size 9.5 Wide and found it too long. Took advice of other reviewers and ordered a 9 Wide and it fit. I have another Sam Edelman shoe in a ballet flat and the 9.5 Wide is tight on a bare foot. I think you just have to try different sizes until you find one that fits.

I ordered these in a bigger size and they have to go back BUT the leather is so soft and they were very comfortable. I’m hoping the smaller size will fit perfect. I ordered 2 more pair. The color was not as red as o thought but is very versatile. I need a wide so hope you get more stock in.

I love Sam Edelman shoes and boots. The Loraine loafer is my favorite. The craftsmanship is flawless and the leather is as soft as butter. The shoe is true to size in width and length. The Loraine gently hugs my feet while delivering comfortable arch support. This is a beautiful shoe with the versatility to be worn with jeans or a chic event. Love these shoes. They run about a half-size or full size big. I’ve tripped over the toe more than once! Lol! The longer vamp makes your foot look a little longer too. But they’re SO fly! Super comfy! Very stylish! I’d love to do a side-by-side comparison with a Gucci loafer. I think it’d be close. The leather is soft and supple. Feels like I’m wearing a slipper. Dressier and sleeker than a traditional loafer. I’ll be ordering multiple colors.

Love these shoes. Usually wear size 6 medium width shoes and these are TTS.

I purchased these in green velvet to go with a green silk dress for a wedding at a victorian inn. These are for when my heels are no longer tolerable. As the MOB, I will be putting some miles on my feet that day! I have a healed fractured right foot, so I know I will want something to step down into when it's time to boogie down! They are elegant and classy and will pair well with other outfits. They have a somewhat elongated appearance in the front. The tongue and toe area seems longish proportional to the shoe. That's a bit different from other loafer style shoes, but it gives it a bit of quirkiness which I like. Doesn't take itself too seriously, until it has to, and then you can channel your inner demure self. They are comfortable but do not have a lot of structure to the footbed, specifically arch support but inserts might help with that for some folks. Love these.

Super soft and comfortable

I have a high instep and they were a little tricky to get on. I thought they would not fit. Once I got them on with a shoe horn they felt like slippers. I am very happy.

Loved the shoe. Excellent quality but since I have such small feet, the slippers were too large For me in size 5. With sadness, I had to return them.

I purchased this show in silver in an effort to find an elegant flat I could wear with trousers at swanky events to avoid having to wear heels. These are perfect. Comfortable, attractive, and durable for urban walking. I receive a number of compliments every time I wear them.

First off, all of the other reviews are correct: the shoe does run large. For me, the 10 felt like it was a half size larger, which wasn't horrible since the shoe does get more pointed at the toe. It was slightly narrow, so I thought maybe I should get a 9.5 wide and give that a try, but those actually ended up feeling bigger on than the 10's. In the end, the 10's ended up feeling slightly long, but very comfortable. Sizing quirks aside, the other reviews are also correct: these are fantastic loafers! Very stylish, sophisticated and extremely comfortable. I look forward to wearing the heck out of the black pair that I ordered and getting other colors in the future.

Love these loafers! They were comfortable right out of the box, no break in period needed!

I have this shoe in velvet and it’s soooo comfortable. I wear this show for work with leggings and skirts and dresses that would look good with a ballerina slipper. The leather version will be for spring and fall and the velvet for fall and winter. Great work loafer that is feminine and looks a lot like the Gucci loafer

Love the casual look of this loafer, you can dress it up or down, ... for me, they are running a FULL size large! Nice quality @ a great price.

Beautiful shoe! Felt comfortable the first time I put them on my feet. Order 1/2 size smaller than usual. Very soft leather. Definitely worth the money.
