I have two pair of Sam Edelman loafers in size 9 that fit perfectly -- this pair seemed almost a half size too large.

Tight around the widest part of the foot, normal size felt tool long

I have a wide foot with a high arch and instep. These shoes did not work for me. I usually wear a 9 or 9.5. I ordered a 9.5W and they are at least a half size too large. The top was very uncomfortable due to my high arch. I am not even going to try out the size 9 because I know it will hurt the top of my foot. My search for black loafers continues.

These shoes look well made and stylish however this is at least a full size larger than a 4M. As with other SE shoes, they are never consistent with size.

These shoes were very narrow for a wide. I could tell they would be very uncomfortable so I am sending them back.

I purchased these in silver first and although they were a tad bid (my normal size) and wide on my narrow foot they were really fashionable. After 2-3 wears I’m sad to say that they are peeling in the front and the scuff very easily. I ordered the shiny black in my normal size and they fit perfect because they seem to be cut more narrow than the silver and less soft.

I chose to order this shoe in W width. It is too wide for me. I thought these would be good shoe for summer, however, they are a bulky shoe and not slim in appearance. Too much shoe for me to see. I really wanted them to work for me. Returning them.

I have a high arch and the shoe had no give across the top. I couldn't get it on.

Bought this in black patent. This is a very nice looking shoe but the sizing is very off. The shoe is Extremely NARROW. Will not fit a wide foot or if you have any bunions. Do not usually have trouble with sizing but this shoe is for very narrow feet. Will return.

The leather on this shoe is very pretty but very bright silver. Too bright for me. Also, I normally wear a size 9 or 9 1/2 and can wear an 8 1/2 in this shoe and it seems to be a bit narrower which is great for me. I have this shoe in the animal print and like it a lot.

VERY stylish shoe but offers little to no support. This shoe had 5 stars so I was excited to receive it, it fit well but very stiff bottom and no support at all. Not sure what all the hype is about, it was a very uncomfortable shoe to walk in for even a few minutes on carpet. Sadly, returned.

The style and comfort of the Lorraine shoe is great, no complaints. However, the silver metallic was HORRIBLE- it was all cracked by the end of the day after my first wear. Incredibly disappointing, I can’t even wear them anymore.

Tight in the toe box and hard to get on.

I have been looking at these shoes for month... finally decided to go for it and went way out of my comfort zone with the leopard print. The shoes are beautifully crafted, lovely leather lining and soles, gorgeous gold accent. Loved them... but they are a full size larger than I usually wear. (I ordered down a half-size based on reviews and they were still too big.) The leopard print is on a "hairy" type of leather. While beautiful, it seemed far too fragile for me. I would live in fear of getting caught in the rain or tripping on something and ruining my beautiful shoes. So, back they go. Now I have to decide what color to order instead of the leopard.

I purchased these in black leather and in the peacock print. The black leather pair was perfect; supple, perfect size, soft bottom, wore for 8 hours the first day and had no rubbing whatsoever. The peacock print (in the same size) was the opposite. I could not even get them on my foot. I have a fairly high instep, but expected them to fit as well as the black leather. These are going back.

I didn't love these as much as I had hoped. Though the fit was good, they looked more conservative than I would have liked. Good quality for the money.

I wanted to love this shoe... I wear a 6W and the width was fine but the heel flipped and flopped.

Beautiful shoe just to long will return and go down whole size

I'm normally ALWAYS a size 11. This shoe actually slipped off my foot. I debated on whether to go a half size down but decided to return b/c it is a shoe that makes my foot look big (it's already too big - I don't want a shoe to make it look bigger!).

I don't typically wear narrow width shoes, but these feel pretty narrow. I think they're super cute and would've been a great addition to my business-casual wardrobe, but I'm returning them because it makes a suction/farty sound when I walk. I think the sound is caused by the high vamp somehow suctioning itself onto the skin on the top of my foot (I wear no-show socks). Not great for walking around my quiet office.

Very nice, but very hard and slippery. Uncomfortable

The shoes were defective. Leather was wrinkled and discolored. The buckle was sewn on crooked on one shoe. I’m pretty disappointed. I have another pair of this same style and I love them. Very comfortable shoes! I’d prefer getting a brand new pair of shoes, these clearly were not.

These run very narrow. I ordered 1/2 bigger and could not get my foot all the way in.
