Love these loafers! I did end up having to size down to a 6.5, despite generally being a solid size 7. The shoes are made of a buttery, comfortable leather and they look great on. I walk a good amount to get to and from work and had no trouble with the commute with these on!

I am a 9.5 in Sam Edelman ballet flats but have been getting these loafers in a 9. However, the most recent pair I ordered seemed a half a size too big and I realized my existing pairs have stretched out and are now a little big, so I am going to start sizing down to an 8.5. They are pretty comfortable and have become my go-to work shoe, but just keep in mind they stretch out a bit.

such a cool style, the snake print is more deep navy than back, with metallic silver, the buckle is a nice polished gold, altho would prefer silver. tried 6 wide and 6.5 med, but neither fit, I wear 6.5med, so hope they will restock, as these are beautifully made and the details are really nice

My usual size is 6.5 and I have a bit of bunions. I got 6.5W and 7.0W. I tried on the 6.5W and found them to be wider than I thought they would be. Since I have bunions, I thought the wide size would be beneficial. Unfortunately, they were so wide that they wouldn’t stay on my feet properly. Since 5.5W and 5.0W are sold out, I put padding on my 6.5. I didn’t bother trying on the 7s. Reviews say to size up because they are narrow, but I didn’t find them narrow at all. I would size a half down unless you have really wide feet.

I wanted these to fit - the style was awesome, but they felt too small for me, definitely too narrow, and I don't have wide feet. Happy for those they fit perfectly, because they are cool!

I am a solid 4.5. I ordered the 4.5 and it was too big. It fit just like a 5. My daughter wears a 5.5 and these shoes were slightly to small for her, so I would say they run about .5 size to big. Otherwise, nice shoe.

A drop too narrow for my wide feet

After reading the reviews, and considering some other Sam Edelman shoes I've bought, I was hopeful that my normal size would fit, but unfortunately I should have sized down a half size. These may be tough for wider feet to slip on.

I bought the paprika silky velvet color and man, I feel like I should be wearing a matching elbow-patch blazer smoking on a corncob pipe (cabbie hat optional). These shoes instantly upgrade an outfit from aight to extra, so just be ready to lean in to the attention they bring. They're super comfy and slip on without me having to use a tool to wedge my hoof in, yet they're not so loose that my feet are slipping out when I walk. Helpful if you live in an area where shoes off indoors is a custom. I also like that the modest height heel clicks when you walk, so it sounds professional while looking like a slipper. My only gripe is the lack of arch support and that they don't accommodate orthotics (not quite wide or deep enough). Even with little gel arch inserts thrown in, I feel like it's just a matter of time before my constant walking wears all support out. But the style and whisper of "fashionista" when people look at my feet is enough to make me just stock up on more Dr. Scholl's arches and wear these as long as I can.

My more fashionable pair of loafers for the office. A bit tight where the buckle is for my foot, but not enough to make me return them.

These shoes are beautiful and I loved how they look. However, I took off one star because I have to return them. I have at least 5 other pairs of Sam Edelman shoes, and am always a 7.5. I'm also a 7.5 in almost every brand. If anything, I sometimes wear an 8. Surprisingly, with these shoes, they were too big in 7.5. Even with a thin sock. I will exchange for a 7 but it's just so strange! I never wear a 7.

I returned these for a half size smaller which were perfect.

It ran a half size bigger but otherwise a beautiful shoe for a reasonable price!

Fits great, look awesome but the red finish will not last long, it’s started to wear off on the toe and I only wore them for one day unfortunately.

I ordered my usual size in wide so I have more room in the toe box. Width is great, length is too long though, a solid 3" longer than other size 8 shoes I own. love them though so re-ordering a smaller size.

Love my new shoes, originally ordered an 8 since that is my true size, but these run long due to the almond toe, so returned the 8 and got the 7.5w

These are beautiful shoes. I ordered the peacock snakeskin and just like other reviewers, noticed they were quite narrow and also very long (at least an extra inch beyond my toe in the 6.5. I have narrow feet so no problem on width but the extra length made me worry I'd trip over my toes, scuffing the shoes and/or falling on my face (I am clumsy). So I sent them back. The top of the shoe is quite close-fitting as others have noted, and I have very high arches and knew a smaller size would never fit over the rise. So sad to miss out on these! They are lovely.

These are SO cute! I had to return though, because other reviewers identified this problem: the shoes run a tad large, but also very tight across the rise, so for me, size 6.5 (and I ordered my size) with very high arches, I could barely get my foot inside and there was at least an inch left in the toe. The quality of materials and workmanship was excellent, I had purchased the peacock snakeskin and it was gorgeous, but sadly, due to fit, I had to return.

It’s so strange. I have several Lorraine loafers and all fit size 7. However the nude runs so large. Love this shoe

Great loafer for the price. Looks and feels like the more expensive brands.
